Nika was amazingly helpful when she helped to prepare my husband and me for our son's wedding. We had never taken formal dancing lessons. This was an important day for us and we wanted to do something memorable. She was patient and kind but als...
o pushed us out of our comfort zone. She has a great way of delivering feedback on what we were doing wrong without making us feel badly. She was able to demonstrate the correct moves and we were able to stay focused. We laughed at ourselves and she kept reminding me that the man "leads" even if he is wrong and the woman always starts on her right foot because the woman is always "right."
She never gave up on us and gave us all the confidence and skill we needed. She can do any type of dance and really taught us to feel the music and follow it.
We did great at the wedding and got tons of compliments from relatives and friends. Working with Nika was so much fun, we signed up for more lessons after it was over just to enhance our skills for the next opportunity. I am so glad we found her. She was just great!!!
Nika was great! We (myself & Mom) did about 8-10 sessions for my wedding. We came with some song selections and Nika customized a fantastic routine for us to perform during the Mother & Son dance. Would highly recommend.
