Her photos speak for themselves - they are breathtaking. She has incredible talent and excels at capturing the emotions of the day. She somehow captured photos of family members’ reactions that I completely missed the day of. Even the portraits that are technically posed don’t look posed or forced because of the instructions she gives. Niki stands out amongst other wedding photographers because her photos are timeless. There are a lot of wedding photography styles that are trendy now but will look dated in years to come - Niki’s won’t. Our photos have a classic feel that looks like they could have been taken in the 1940s, and I know that stylistically they will hold up for generations to come. I look forward to treasuring these photos forever, and I am so grateful to Niki for making that possible. oser to home or someone slightly cheaper but whenever I looked at another photographers page my head just kept saying "BOOK NIKI" and I am SO glad I did. I was nervous to meet her and ask her to shoot my wedding because it wasn't as elegant as a lot of the other ones she had done, but I knew I would regret it every time I looked at my wedding photos if I didn't. When I met her it felt like I was meeting a friend! She was so accepting, sweet, and professional. She made the entire day run smoothly, calmed me down several times, put up with our obnoxious group, gave us a sneak peak the day after, and had our photos back to us SO quickly. I never felt like I had a photographer following me around all night, it was more like hanging out with a friend! On top of that I have received so many compliments about our wedding photos and all I can say is "I know, isn't she the best?!". 11/10 photographer, worth EVERY penny!!! Also my guys loved her husband brad as a second shooter. They are truly a dream team :-)

usband absolutely hates taking posed photos and she managed to capture some amazing shots without having to force him to pose where he wouldn’t be comfortable! My favorite things about her photography is the classic style, her attention to detail, and the love that goes into each shot. Her candids are also unbelievable, she knows when things are about to happen before they do and captures them flawlessly! Niki is honestly so sweet as well as her husband Brad. They both make having your photos taken really effortless and enjoyable. In terms of answering all of our questions (specifically mine), Niki was always quick to respond and always had great advice for photo locations, outfits, etc. I would email Niki constantly, even had a phone conference with her in terms of our wedding photos. A week leading up to our wedding the weather was looking like it could rain. Being a Bride I was freaking out, Niki was such a huge help and really eased my nerves. The weather ended up being absolutely perfect, a little rain in the morning and sunshine the rest of the day! Niki was prepared for anything and made sure no matter what, she would be able to get the perfect photos I wanted. I think what makes Niki so special is her attention to detail and how she will go above and beyond for her couples. My husband and I felt so comfortable with her. I truly cannot say enough great things about Niki, I really am at a loss for words she is THAT good. The best photographer ever, so good that I have already started planning our one year anniversary photos for her to take! In addition, Niki tells a story with the engagement photos and wedding photos which was super important to me. She captures EVERYTHING! Again, there are not enough words to describe how great of a photographer she is as well as a business woman. Love her! I will be forever grateful that Niki was our engagement/wedding photographer.

We constantly knew we were in good hands and she was there if we needed anything at all, all while capturing gorgeous images. Our wedding day was very hot and humid and there were scattered rain showers throughout the day. When it started to rain, Niki didn’t panic. She spotted a little alcove where we took some of my favorite pictures of the day, while Brad ran to grab the umbrella we left inside our venue. They braved the rain and took some really beautiful shots of my husband and I under the umbrella walking around Detroit. We opted to not do a first look. Our friends and family tried to talk us into doing one because not doing so would give us such a short window for photos between the ceremony and reception. Niki never pressured us one way or the other. In the end, I’m glad we stuck to our guns and skipped the first look. Niki captured awesome pictures of my husband and I seeing each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle. We ended up having more than enough time because she was so efficient! Niki was so quick to think of new poses and gave great direction that made all of our photos look so natural. We never felt rushed either. We really enjoyed our time taking photos! And when it comes to the most important part, the actual photos you’ll be looking at for a lifetime, she is just unbelievably talented. Every single photo (and there were a TON of them) was gorgeous and they’re so timeless! When we got them back we were just blown away. My husband and I have never been ones to take awesome photos. I would not use the word photogenic to describe either of us. One of us always ends up looking goofy normally. Niki gave such wonderful direction and eased my anxiety in wondering how we looked. We looked so happy and natural in our photos (no awkward or goofy faces)! Her blog post with a bunch of our photos were posted while we were still on our honeymoon (she’s so quick)! We came home to so many messages from friends and family telling us how gorgeous they were. From beginning to end, Niki was incredible. If you’re hesitating booking with her, don’t. Just do it. You will not be disappointed.

t four years ago and fell completely in love with her and her photos. I was hoping at the chance to contact her and I finally had a reason. After reaching out her, she immediately responded to set up a time to meet each other. I knew I wanted her to be part of our special day from that moment on. She was professional, down to earth, and just sweet. I felt like I knew her for years and years. Kenny and I were nervous about having someone take pictures of us...we didn’t know how to pose or what to do or say. At our engagement photo shoot, Niki made us feel beyond comfortable and made it so fun. We didn’t even feel like someone was taking pictures. It began to rain about half way through our photo shoot and we didn’t get a chance to change into our second outfit. Niki kindly suggested that we reschedule to do a sunrise, rooftop session, which was completely unexpected. The pictures were absolutely amazing. When I saw her walk through the door the morning of the wedding, I got teary eyed - I was relieved to see her and the moment of me getting married became so real. Niki is a complete gem.
