Where to begin with Niki? First - don't even think twice about her prices. She is incredibly talented and easy to be around. You'll wish she was able to be both your photographer and a guest / friend. You're also going to want to frame and post every single photo she takes. You think you're the MOST obsessed with one, and then she sends another that's even better. Even the unedited previews are fantastic. She's got this ability to capture raw emotions yet you feel beautiful even when you're ugly crying. My favorite thing about working with Niki is that she's honest. If you're posing in an unflattering angle, she's not afraid to correct you. She would much rather you love your photos than worry about offending you for 5 seconds. Also, she's incredibly sweet so she still won't offend you. She can also rally a bridal party including wild toddlers like nobody's business. Now, this is all from a bride's POV. Most brides want to take all the photos, so let me tell you a little about my husband's perspective. She made my husband feel incredibly comfortable and at ease, which is hard to do when he's in front of the camera since he doesn't like being the center of attention. I almost always have to tell him to "smile with his teeth" but Niki is very good at telling him what to do or how to stand without making him feel awkward! He even told me multiple times how glad he was that Niki was our photographer. He said he wouldn't have been able to enjoy the day as much as he did with a different professional. If you can only make one decision about your wedding day, let it be hiring her as your photographer. You won't regret it.

If you're reading this, HIRE HER. We did amazing shoot with her in the gorge, with my wedding florist (Wildflower) and the photos couldn't have turned out better. We did this before our wedding day and it was the best decision we've ever made. She made this the most stress-free and wonderful time. We didn't think we're photogenic but with her guidance, these were AMAZING. Her attitude and demeanor is just the best to be surrounded by, we could've hung out with her for hours. On top of being surrounded by a great human, the photos were so spectacular, people raved about them, texted me and were asking who shot them. Her technique and eye for a backdrop is unbelievable and the best I've ever seen. She is incredible and her photos are unbelieveable.

Wow! Niki's talent is exceptional. Not only was she able to turn around beautiful images in lightning-fast time, but she was able to make one of our special places feel EVEN MORE gorgeous and magical through her photography. We were brand new to professional photography and Niki helped us feel immediately at-ease; by the end of our session together, we were on a high -- it was so fun to be with Niki for the evening and we each (Doug & I) had all the confidence in the world after a few hours in her presence [talk about compliments!!] :) . She has a true gift for what she does. She was punctual, she was so fun, and she overdelivered. The output that we got from Niki was 1000% worth the investment and we'd highly recommend her to photograph your love & loved ones.

This amazing woman..okay where to begin. This woman not only rented herself snow shoes, but also hiked 45 minutes at a 45 degree incline (I cannot lie I was sweattinggg) with however many pounds of camera equipment attached to her back. I myself did not know about this soon-to-be rendezvous and did not get out of bed in a timely fashion, Hence, this woman waited for 45 minutes at the top of a mountain while I took my sweet time getting ready for a nondescript snow shoe hike. Unbeknownst to me, Niki was there to capture my now fiance and my engagement! Niki was able to be the first person to share in my excitement while also calming my nerves. Awkward in front of a camera, I was instantly put at ease by Niki's sunny disposition and warm hearty laugh. I felt an instant connection with her and can honestly say I have never seen more beautiful or timeless film photography. Scott and I will cherish your work forever and cannot wait for you to be there with us on our special day! Niki Rhodes pours her heart and soul into her craft. We are so grateful for her.

You want the best when it comes to your wedding day. Niki delivers on that! She is kind, energetic, detail-oriented, and professional. Her talent and passion for what she does SHINES. From the beginning of our conversations, she was candid about her services and abilities. Most importantly, she made us feel so comfortable and quickly built rapport. I knew we were in good hands. She was always prompt and thorough in our ongoing communications and offered support in a variety of ways (e.g. suggesting florists and helping with the timeline for the day, so we could get all our desired shots). On our wedding day, she handled everything with poise, grace and ease. As a bride, her calmness was a huge asset. Last but not least - the photos are amazing. The quality of her work and attention to detail is worth every penny. She sees things the average eye cannot. I am so thankful to have worked with this talented photographer and outstanding woman.
