I have received so many complements on the coloring of the photos, and it's true, the way he edits the photos make them so romantic and simply so perfect. I've been to many weddings where the bride and groom have opted for multiple photographers and/or videographers, and although I'm sure the captured result is lovely, it tends to distract from the magic of the moment (for the guest at least, in my opinion). Nikk was unintrusive and was able to create a beautiful story of photographs from start to finish. He was also so helpful, responsive, and flexible when trying to plan the ceremony start time etc. - which is huge when you're trying to juggle a thousand different things to plan a wedding. I couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out, we will cherish them for a lifetime!

ve to have our photos taken – we both tend to stiffen up and pose unnaturally, but Nikk made us feel incredibly comfortable while also making us look way cooler than we actually are. Everybody tells us we look like we belong in a magazine – it’s absolutely wild. His eye for capturing unique moments is amazing, and he gave us the perfect balance of moments throughout the evening that are intimate, candid, and posed – all of which are incredible. All of his shots feel cohesive together, and looking through our entire library actually feels like I’m following a narrative and reliving our wedding as if we were in the eyes of one of our guests. After our virtual meeting, we felt completely comfortable giving Nikk the freedom to join us and capture everything he wanted, while also capturing a healthy list of things we absolutely wanted. Nikk went above and beyond to capture everything we wanted, and then gave us way more than we ever thought we could need, all the while being very timely and professional. never taken professional photos before our engagement session with Nikk. He was so calm and made us feel relaxed in front of the camera. These were our most favorite photos to date. We were also lucky enough to have Nikk photograph our wedding with his amazing and sweet second shooter, Riley. 9 hours is a long day, and he knew exactly where to be at the right time. He honored every little last minute request and was truly a ninja with how he was everywhere, but not in an invading way the whole night. Nikk was again so calm and patient - even with our most passionate family members(I cannot stress enough how this was such a breath of fresh air, especially with our very large extended family coming at us from all angles at times). mediately messaged us and we felt relieved since there wasn’t time left. We asked Nikk if he would be able to just do a ceremony only type of wedding so we only needed him for 3 hours. He was very flexible around it and told us he could and we were thrilled because his work is amazing. Nikk captures the mood and the way he sees the moment like he is painting a scene. He knows a lot of composition and creates the best images. Despite our wedding ceremony being very small he was able to put everything together so well. Our ceremony just consisted of us and our parents, sister, husband and son so only seven guests. He captured the small intimidate moment so perfectly. And we honestly thought we would get maybe three good images and that would have made us very happy. But to our surprise it was hard for us to choose which photos we wanted to have large prints of. We selected 4 extra large ones because they were like paintings and we need them on our walls in our home. His sense of timing is impeccable--especially important when you're trying to get those "golden hour" shots--and he has a talent for telling a story. And that's what we got when we received our final gallery--an entire story of our day, with the mood, and our love, perfectly captured. We really loved that he not only used his professional equipment but some cool phone apps to take some 'improv' shots that he turned into GIFs, Super 8 videos, etc.--short but fun! And unexpected. If you've seen Nikk's work on social media you know that he has the talent to capture the essence and "cool" of every couple he works with. We're so glad we were able to work with him on our day. The quality of his work is impeccable, and we got our full library of pictures back SO quickly. We had friends who got married weeks before us, and we had our photos back far before they did! Day of, he was so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable. He seemed relaxed and stress-free, yet captured everything, and I mean everything! Looking back at our pictures immediately made my husband and I cry. The photos are amazing and all our friends and family agree! My wedding day was an absolute blur as everyone told me it would be, and when it’s over you’re left thinking…”that’s it? it’s already over?” After spending a full year of planning venues, flowers, decorations, wardrobe, etc., you want to be able to appreciate those details! But I promise on your wedding day, you will not be thinking about your floral arrangements or your welcome table. But you know who will? Nikk! His formal and detail shots are beautiful, but my favorite thing about his photography is that he really captures the couples’ personality and the “real” moments of the day. Looking at our pictures was such an amazing way to relive our wedding because you miss out on so many of the little moments and details as the bride and groom (or groom & groom / bride & bride). This is really the best investment you can make. As cheesy as it sounds, the day lasts 9 hours but the photos last forever. We are so beyond happy that Nikk is the photographer we chose to document our day, and I know you will be too!

Nikk's photojournalistic style captured real, genuine moments and emotions shared with our loved ones. All I can think is how beautiful everyone looks in these photos laughing, crying, and connecting rather than posing and trying to get the right angle. I can't see any flaws because the happiness we shared is gorgeous. I don't remember seeing Nikk during these moments. He blended in with the crowd, and my family enjoyed having him around. Of course, we took the typical family shots, but a part of me wishes we just let Nikk do what he does best: capture genuine moments. Now that the wedding is behind us, I keep wondering if it is too soon to book Nikk again for another shoot. Book him. He is the best.

. Not only is his style unique, he captures those raw, unfiltered moments that really encapsulate a wedding day vs. focusing on more staged, forced moments. We used Nikk for engagement photos and our wedding which we’d highly recommend - by the time we got to our wedding day, Nikk felt like a close friend and seamlessly integrated himself into our day. During our first meeting, we really appreciated that Nikk had opinions about some of the things we were still debating (i.e., first look or no first look) and could share his perspective as an expert in the industry. He helped us land on decisions we felt good about and made the most sense for us. When we decided later in the wedding planning process that we wanted a videographer, Nikk took it upon himself to research videographers in his network and even reached out to one we liked for his availability. The two of them collaborated so well on our wedding day that you would have no idea it was their first time meeting. Nikk also works so fast! He turned around our engagement and wedding photos so quickly compared to other friends who’ve worked with other photographers. We are so grateful that Nikk was able to document the best day of our lives and would highly recommend him!
