day one when we met via zoom, Nikki was amazing. I instantly knew she was the perfect match for my husband and I. She is so kind, bubbly, and easy to get along with. Throughout the wedding planning process, if I had any questions about timeline, photo locations, etc. she would respond promptly and would be more than willing to help out. My husband and I are not so natural in front of the camera, but she made us feel that way!!! We did not want to spend hours taking couples portraits because we wanted to spend time with all of our guests. She captured some unbelievably beautiful portraits and candids without us feeling awkward in front of the camera. Nikki took the reigns for the weekend along with our wedding planner and made sure everything ran smoothly. She got along with our families and our families could not stop talking about how great she was. Lastly, I was SHOOK how fast she was able to get sneak peeks to us!!!! Literally the next day after our wedding, edited and everything. We just got our full album back and I could not be happier wow!!!! We have literally thousands of photos, our day was captured so perfectly. I will never use any other photographer. Nikki is nothing short of amazing! You will not be disappointed. She made not only us as a couple feel comfortable (which we expressed to her was one of our fears of just feeling awkward on camera) but our families and friends too, as she documented our church ceremony and our downtown-Chicago wedding reception. She had no problem telling people what to do to make the photos look great and she was the ultimate hype woman. And she even took some video clips and made some super fun Instagram reels for us! As well as some polaroids which were so fun to have! The morning after our wedding we woke up to a preview of almost 70 photos! We could not believe how fast she worked to get us those. We have gotten numerous compliments on the photography from our wedding. Her vibe perfectly matched our September Winery wedding. spent the next year rescheduling and replanning a wedding. We were 90 days away from our rescheduled wedding date and we still did not have a photographer. We stumbled across Nikki’s website and we are so glad we did! For one, she is such a great person to work with. She knows her stuff and helped guide us through the process to ensure we were getting everything we wanted out of a photographer. Second, she made us feel comfortable the entire time, giving us direction on poses when we asked and making sure our photos turned out perfect. We worked around her rescheduling availability in picking our new date and she was so accommodating throughout it all. Given that it would be pretty intimate- us, our officiant, and a photographer - it felt even more important to work with someone who we felt comfortable with. She made the day more joyous with her positive energy and support. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Nikki Zoomed with us and was so responsive via email. She was so helpful in helping us make a game plan for the morning, in facilitating transportation throughout the day (she found a driver for us, thank you!), and in pre-empting all weather-related and timing concerns. The morning of our wedding, Nikki arrived early at our apartment to shoot photos of us getting ready before our “reveal.” In addition to taking stunning photos, Nikki tagged in as the MVP of the morning helping with last minute dress buttons and bow tie-tying adventures! Throughout the morning ceremony at Northerly Island, photos in the park and at our home while we Zoomed with our families, and photos downtown, Nikki brought so much care and light to it all. Neither of us are very comfortable with photos, but Nikki put as at ease and made the whole experience so fun! She shared “Sneak Peek” photos with us that night which were absolutely MAGICAL! The final photos that she shared with us (super timely, too!) were incredible. Nikki facilitated so many beautiful shots as well as captured fun, silly, and intimate moments. We ended up having a mostly-outdoor wedding in December for safety reasons, and despite the cold weather, she was an absolute TROOPER and rolled with all of the changes with us! Her second shooter on our wedding day was her husband, and it was cute to see them work together and he also was so kind and fun to work with and did a great job. We love our wedding photos and along with beautiful posed photos, she also truly captured so many authentic, sweet moments, which was a priority for me and for my husband since he is uncomfortable feeling like he's "posing" for a camera and wanted lots of great candids. We are so happy with our photos and would 1000% recommend Nikki to any future couples!

for a Saturday morning. I loved her photography portfolio. She really delivered! The day-of, there was a massive downpour, so we had to switch up and move indoors from our original outdoor spot. The photos still turned out beautifully. Then when the rain let up a bit, we took more photos outdoors. Nikki even brought clear umbrellas - they really helped elevate the photos. She was very good at helping us pose, and very open to me suggesting a few shots that I wanted (some more serious, Vogue-y looking ones). She works very seamlessly, I didn't even realize she was getting shots of certain cute moments until I got the photos back! I was also extremely impressed by the turnaround time. Our wedding was around 11am and by that night, we had edited photos back (almost 500!). Another fun thing was that Nikki took some polaroid shots in addition to regular photos. These turned out so nicely and are great little mementos of the day. She is an excellent photographer and I would absolutely hire her again for any event - engagement, wedding, really whatever! She's a joy to work with and I wish I could have 10 more weddings just so she could photograph them.
