NikkiRis Events is a New York, NY-based wedding planning service led by owner and head planner Nicole Risby. Nicole and the team pride themselves on creating unique and memorable experiences for the couples they work with. Through open communication and transparency, the team at NikkiRis Events will keep you in the loop every step of the way. Nicole believes every wedding planner must be patient, flexible, and dependable. It's the little things that matter and bring us all together.
Working with NikkiRis Events provides you with access to some of the best vendors in the wedding industry. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, the team has built strong relationships with vendors who operate with the same commitment to excellence. This allows NikkiRis Events to pull together a true dream team to bring your wedding vision to life.
To create a wedding celebration that reflects your style and personality, NikkiRis Events offers a range of wedding planning packages for couples to choose from. Whether you'd like help planning every last detail or prefer a day-of coordinator, Nicole can help you select the ideal package for your needs. In addition to wedding planning services, they can also coordinate engagements, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, elopements, and more.
We offer 3 types of packages. Full planning, partial planning, and day of coordination. Our packages start at $3,500 and Day of Coordination is the most popular. It will begin six weeks before your wedding. We swoop in, take over the planning process, and tie up any loose ends. If you choose a full or partial planning package, ALL packages will include my day of coordination services, up to 12 hours. The package will include timeline creations, zoom meetings, and a space walkthrough. The package consists of much more, but that was to highlight some key components. All packages include set-up and breakdown, vendor referrals, and a checklist to keep you organized and on point!

whole day was like a dream and so smooth! When I initially brought her all of my ideas for the wedding...she didn't hesitate ONCE. She said "OK, let's do it!" and off she went. Even down to making my bouquet which was spot on from my inso picture. Her attention to detail and making sure that your vision comes into full swing is truly special. You can see the love and care she has for her couples. Not to mention how she really takes the time to ensure your timeline is set up in away that everything in covered. nniversary celebration, for us and our nearly 100 guests. She stayed within our budget (and I had a lot of requests, haha), and worked flawlessly with the venue, suppliers, and band. I was amazed at her natural ability to deliver in alignment with our aesthetic preferences! The decorations were GORGEOUS, including a massive, 10 ft. flower arrangement on the ceiling fixture that she created, while meeting venue standards on weight, etc. She even added surprise touches to the venue, that really warmed our hearts. Because of her amazing organization, leadership, client centrism, and follow-through, we didn't have to worry about anything! We had a great time at our party. Nicole is simply, incredible!

nch venues to ensure she spoke to the managers, and knew the layouts. She came to our church rehearsal so our family members and friends knew her and felt comfortable with her on the day. Through the whole process, she was very supportive and asked the questions we didn't even know we had. Thank God for Nicole!!! She handled everything with ease, from finding our vendors, managing our guest list and our guests’ needs, and executing our special day flawlessly. Going into our big day I had full trust of Nicole’s ability to execute our vision as she dedicated many days, nights, and weekends helping me decide on a theme, colors, attire, music and every other detail of our wedding weekend.
Because of Nicole’s commitment and hard work, I was able to just relax and focus on being the Bride. I truly lived in the moment and as a result I have the best memories from my wedding which I know would not be the case if I didn’t have her.
