We booked Nite-Time Entertainment after hearing them play at a friend’s wedding. While they sounded great at ours, we had a very poor customer service experience with them.

professionalism was severely lacking. Leading up to our wedding, the band leader was late to every call we planned which was frustrating. On those calls, we reviewed the song list and the run of show for our big day. Unfortunately, the ROS we discussed was not followed at all during our wedding. Song breaks we requested didn’t happen, the break schedule was not followed and the introductions of our wedding party and of us as the new Mr. & Mrs. did not happen as discussed. They didn’t play a song while our maid of honor and best men came into the room, they didn’t ask the guests to stand while we were introduced, and they never invited any guests to join in on the dancing.
We had previously discussed the Covid precautions our venue was taking, and we even gave the band the opportunity a month prior to back out if they weren’t comfortable performing due to the pandemic. We also noted that we and our guests would be dancing throughout the night as NJ does allow it - near tables even if not a formal dancefloor. They informed us they were fine with dancing and the precautions our venue had in place and that we could follow the ROS we had discussed. But when it was 2+ hours into our reception and the band had not played any dance sets, I (the bride) approached the band leader to ask him to start playing music our guests could dance to. The band leader then proceeded to yell at me that they would not be playing upbeat dance music as there is no dancing allowed in NJ. This was untrue and not what was discussed ahead of our big day. Since I was almost in tears over being yelled at, my husband - the groom - went to speak with them and request that they begin to play dance music as we had planned and were paying for. The band leader then proceeded to yell at the groom “I guess we have to!” and stormed away from him. These interactions were in front of guests and our parents, prompting people to ask if we were okay which was embarrassing and frustrating.
The nasty and unprofessional behavior unfortunately did not stop there. The band singer yelled at multiple guests who tried to request songs and the band leader fought with our Maître d. It seems there was some miscommunication between our venue and the band regarding timing for their meals, but there is a much better way to handle this then to yell in front of our wedding guests.
This whole situation was uncalled for and could have been avoided since we had multiple calls leading up to the wedding and a final review call just 3 days prior. No couple should ever have to deal with a vendor that they are paying, yelling at them on the wedding day in front of their family and friends. While the band was talented and sounded good when they played, I would not recommend hiring them for your wedding as they were so unprofessional and caused distress during our reception.

hour, then DJ and then band for the dancing. I do not know what other band in New York can provide you a DJ, Band and acoustics!
We knew the band would be perfect after we saw them perform at another event. Yves and Amy even learned a few songs that we wanted to be played. We cannot say enough good things about them. If you are looking for a band that will get everyone dancing - this is the band for you!

y played the crowd, and they were amazing! We interviewed tons of bands and traveled the whole tri-state area to hear them. I am not a fan of "female lead singers" and their lead singer was by far the best lead singer (male or female) I have ever heard! I have no words, this band is amazing! Not only that, but their price was even more amazing than they were! HIRE THIS BAND! Look no further! Our guests never sat in their seats! They were up dancing and partying all night long!

I went through a ton of band interviews prior to my wedding (it was my main wedding responsibility since I'm not much of a flower guy). Yves and Amy were really easy to work with and very flexible - world of difference from the cookie cutter bands run by major corporations. With this band, what you see is what you get.
Yves took a LOT of time to get to know what we liked and put up with my "can-you-play-this" phone call after "please-don't-play-this" phone call. Yves took time to meet in my apartment and also review my detailed spreadsheets. Thanks again Yves!

Both Yves and Amy were such a delight to work with and we both felt from the moment we met them we were in the right hands. We met with other band companies and I felt we were just a number, we never met the band and I just didn't know who would show. With Nite-Time I felt as they were right for us. They were dedicated and looking back I feel that they tailored the set list just for us with the music (everything from the Grateful Dead to Barry Manilow) and the personal interactions.
You always hope that the decisions you make are for the best and I believe the band is a major part and Nite-Time exceeded our hopes and expectations. When the evening ended and there were shouts of "more" we were thrilled if exhausted. The place rocked and they were part of the perfection we enjoyed. We are forever thankful that we chose them.
