Nix Wedding Photography

was second to none. That was never more apparent than when we got back our photos from our wedding on Aug 26th. He understands how impatient a wedding couple can be. We had a first look on the afternoon of the DAY AFTER OUR WEDDING! We had all of our photos back before we even got back from our honeymoon (we took two weeks). The magic that I had seen in all his galleries on his website was present in our photos. I can't believe the moments and shots he got of everyone, my parents, myself, our wedding party, the ring bearer, the flower girl. More than half of the shots we were exclaiming "I didn't even know he was taking pictures during that!". That's the other thing about Nix Photography, he has a way of being so unobtrusive. I don't even remember seeing him at the ceremony (to be fair, my mind was on other things!) but obviously he was, because we have wonderful emotional photos. I can't recommend Nix Photography enough. If you like the candid, magazine style photography, then he can't be beat, in my opinion.

d family could not be more thrilled with our wedding photos. I have had so many compliments on our photos and multiple people ask me for copies. James did an outstanding job not only capturing important moments but seeing photo ideas and poses that would look great while remaining very natural. I never felt like the photos were "too posed" or "staged" and I believe the pictures reflect that. He brought a second photographer to our wedding and he was just as awesome. They both did so great with out guests and were so personable, it was a pleasure to work with them. If I had to do it all over, I would not change one thing about our wedding and photography. James and Jason (the second photographer) were flexible and easy-going when we had to quickly take pictures and move to the next set. They dealt with our loud and stubborn families like it was nothing, which made it so much more enjoyable for us. If you are at all unsure about booking with James, take ten minutes and look at his portfolio. I truly believe his images speak for themselves. I could not ask for a better photographer and I am so grateful to have such amazing images that capture our wedding for years to come.

James is extremely pleasant to be with and extremely professional with family and friends, as well. He is a true artist and has an outstanding ability to capture the emotions that me and my groom were feeling! His second shooter, Jason, was extremely professional as well! Lastly, James is extremely quick at getting amazing photographs back to you! We are very pleased with ALL our photos! I would recommend Nix Wedding Photography to all of my friends and family-- I have and they have been just as pleased!
