Val did my makeup for the trial, bridal shower and my wedding day and couldn't have been happier finding her to do all 3! Valerie, her team, and her work really speaks for itself. As soon as we got engaged, there was no question who I would choose to do my hair and makeup. My hair and makeup, my wedding party’s hair and makeup, and my mother and MIL’s hair and makeup stayed the whole day with no touch ups. One of my bridesmaids even told me that her makeup for my wedding looked better than her own wedding. Valerie is great with communication and is very attentive to all your needs. Hair and makeup was the first thing I booked for my wedding and I knew I was going to book Val and the NJ Glam Team, as I had been following on their social media. She was always busy and her work showed why. She arrived with her team on time and had everything set up so quickly. It was so organized which made my whole morning worry free. I can't thank Val and her team enough for making me feel like the most gorgeous bride! Picking a hair and makeup vendor for your big day can be extremely challenging, but from my first interaction with Val I knew I had picked the best! Val was always responsive, friendly, and helpful with any questions I threw her way. I ended up doing a different hairstyle on my wedding day than I had done in my trial, but Val absolutely killed it and I'm so thankful I decided to wear my hair up! Val and her team did makeup and hair for my bridal party of 8, plus myself and the MOB and MOG. They were on time, efficient, and made the entire morning flow seamlessly! A bit late writing this but even a year later I still sing praises for Val and her team! I found Val on Instagram and first met her at my trial. At my trial, we were able to talk, get to know each other and figure out what look would be best on me for photos but also would fit perfectly with the look I was going for. I left confident I was in good hands. As a COVID bride, Val was super responsive to all my questions and date changes. Fortunately, she was still available for date #3 and was able to do makeup for my bridal party and me! Prior to my wedding day, Val made a detailed schedule for us for our makeup that worked flawlessly with the team working on our hair. I really appreciate her schedule for the day that kept things moving with zero stress. Between the unseasonably warm weather, full dress and dancing the night away, I spent quite some time sweating that day. However, my makeup was still on point by the end of the night. I look great in every picture and video of me down to the last one of the evening. Val is great, her team is great, and I’m so glad she had a part in my wedding day.

Val was truly amazing to work with! She made me feel so comfortable and was able to do multiple trials with me because my eye kept tearing. Val is the best, hands down from the trial to the day of the wedding. During the trial, she was personable, kind, and funny. She made sure you loved my look and if I wanted to change anything. of course not !! I didn't have any hair pieces during the trial... she had several that I could try along with veils to get the whole look. I ended up purchasing the hair piece Val had me try on because I instantly fell in love with the look! (I asked where she got the hair piece and bought it) we had minor timing issues on my venues side but she was able to accommodate the late start time and was able to get all the hair and make up done in a timely manner, with the help of her partner of course! the hair and makeup stayed put all day and all night without a smudge or a hair out of place even with all the crying and the veil coming on and off 100x . book with Val, you won't regret it.

She gave everyone exactly what they wanted and did a fantastic job. Iriana did my bridesmaids’ hair and they all loved it (and it stayed all night!). Where do I even begin! Hair & makeup was a super important component to me and I reached out to tons of vendors. I originally found NJ Glam on instagram for a friends wedding. I was a bridesmaid, and I wanted a dark, smokey purple eye. Val delivered! She even used this bright purple for a little futuristic look. She was so nice and so much fun!

Val and her team (I had Ashley, I am not sure if she works with anyone else) were literally AMAZING. Val is one of the most professional but down to earth individuals out there. While I had quotes from other vendors that were lower in price, none of them were more professional, responsive to emails and questions, had better followup (I actually ghosted Val at one point during the booking process, and SHE followed up with ME, no other vendor I came into contact with did this except maybe one photographer), and willing to work with me. The day of makeup looked amazing on everyone and all my girls (and me) were so happy with how they looked. You can tell she has been doing this long enough to have a system because even my photographer made a comment that she liked her because she knew exactly what he wanted done and not done and when based on the timeline he gave me that she asked me for. To be honest I wish I had more super super big events just so I could use her again and in a heartbeat would recommend her to anyone.

Val made the wedding hair and makeup process easy and simple. She answered all my questions quickly and was upfront during the entire process. My original wedding date was changed from 5/31 to 9/18 due to Covid and Val made it stress free for me.
