Nathaniel is an amazing photographer - very talented! But the best thing about Nathaniel is his personality - he is down to earth and has a good sense of humor. He made us feel so comfortable on the day of, and his only concern is making sure that you are happy on the day of your wedding (and afterwards too!). We wouldn't have wanted another photographer!

We are from Arizona, so we were looking at vendors through their websites. We loved Nathaniel's "about me" and decided we needed to meet him. He would always respond to questions and emails in a quick, professional manner. When we set up a meeting time, we has many places where we had to go that day. He arranged to meet us very close to where we needed to go next. He made the entire process from start to finish so easy and stress-free. I worry about a lot of things, and everything was just so comfortable. On wedding day, he made my friends and me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Everyone at our wedding absolutely loved him and his wonderful personality. When we saw the first round of pictures, we were absolutely amazed. Each picture is top quality, and you can truly tell he cares about what he does. To this day, my husband and I still talk about how LUCKY we were to find him and have him photograph our wedding. Nathaniel is flexible, patient, and talented. You will not regret booking him for your wedding!

Amazing photography was on the top of my "wedding must-haves." I was the editor of my high school yearbook and I absolutely love looking at beautiful photos. I spent more time researching photographers than I did choosing a dress, finding a wedding venue, and creating DIY table decorations combined. To me, great photography was the wedding gift that my groom and I wanted to give ourselves. That being said, I am also a practical person who cannot imagine ever spending around $10k on digital photography. What I liked most about Nathaniel was that the quality of his photos seemed similar (and often times better) than photographers who were charging three or four times the price. Nathaniel Kam did an amazing job at my San Diego wedding. He did such a great job that my sister insisted on flying him out for her Florida wedding. His attention to detail is admirable and his eye for great shots is inspiring. I am still often amazed by some of the gorgeous shots Nathaniel posts from other weddings that he's done. The only minor complaint that I have is Nathaniel is very social media oriented and that took some getting used to. It was often easier to contact him via Facebook than through email. Also - my sister and mom ended up seeing my photo highlights before my husband or I did because we were out of the house when Nathaniel posted them on Facebook. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the photos and Nathaniel's professionalism. Also worth noting - Nathaniel's other photographer Paulina is amazing, too. One of our favorite engagement shots came from Paulina. I think it's almost impossible to have a perfect wedding. Any number of things can go wrong - flubbing of vows, rowdy guests, awkward toasts, etc. But with Nathaniel, you are guaranteed to have a perfect collection of photos that allow you to focus on all of the amazing and wonderful things that went right.

Nathaniel Kam Photography was not only professional, affordable and flexible to our wedding needs, but the quality of the photographs far exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend to anyone who is looking to hire a wedding photographer (and is maybe anxious like we were about doing so) to contact Nathaniel Kam.
