Jason did both our engagement pictures and wedding photos and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! When I got engaged, I immediately connected Jason with No Hidden Path. He was the photographer for my brother's wedding, and our family connected with him as an old friend. After both my brother's and my weddings, he feels like part of the family now. I love, love, love our wedding photos and recommend Jason to all of my family and friends. Jason is the absolute BEST! We had him do both our engagement and wedding photos and they turned out better than we could have ever asked for. He makes the process easy and honestly so much fun. We loved NHP Photography. Jason and his team are professional but always kind. They also had great ideas to make our pictures fun and creative. I had a wonderful experience working with Jason. I was looking for someone to photograph my cocktail reception, but I had no clue what to look for. Jason was responsive, asked questions in advance to ensure I'd be happy with the results, and during the event was professional, fun, and helpful. I was afraid the lighting would be too dim - he told me not to worry. My family and friends are so happy with the photos from my reception. The pricing was reasonable and the results were fantastic. Jason was absolutely amazing on our wedding day back in September, and our engagement shoot the year prior. He was so easy to work with and really went above and beyond for us - even staying way past when we thought he would to capture our private last dance (which ended up being some of our favorite photos from the night!). Jason doesn't make your photos look posed, he captures your candid moments. I can genuinely relive everything about our wedding day through his work. He'll hold your dress so it doesn't catch on the rocky ground, get you snacks or drinks if you're needing them, and be everywhere and nowhere at the same time! We would definitely recommend him to anyone. His work speaks for itself!

Jason is an absolutely amazing photographer and also just a genuinely nice guy to have around on your wedding day! He was always super easy to communicate with and quick to respond before the wedding day so we were able to plan out all of the shots. I feel like he captured our day so perfectly; his ability to capture beautiful portraits as well as all of the genuine action over the course of our wedding (especially on the dance floor!) is so impressive. Jason was so easy to work with from beginning to end! I was nervous about finding a photographer that would suit our needs. My husband does not like getting his picture taken but after reading about Jason’s photography style I knew he was the right man for the job! He was easy to communicate with and very transparent. We are in love with our photos and can’t thank Jason enough for being a part of our day!

Jason was amazing. We hired him for our civil ceremony in my husbands hometown of St. Louis. He was incredibly easy to work with and extremely flexible which made our day so stress free. He blended in during the ceremony so much that we didn't even notice all the great shots he was getting. He was easy to communicate with, prompt and professional. He delivered our images exactly when he said he would and gave us close to 300 images for only 2 hours of work. I would not hesitate to hire him again!

Hiring Jason was the best decision we have made when it comes to our wedding day. He is not one of those photographers that will give you boring posed pictures. You will get candid pictures that come out amazing and breath taking. This guy went above and beyond to make sure we got all the angels. First and foremost, he is a great person, so positive and supportive, and so fun to work with. Jason Gonulsen with No Hidden Path Photography brought our magical day to life with his INCREDIBLE photos. Jason worked his buns off from 11am until almost midnight, hustling around as if getting the right “shots” was his mission in life and making us feel at ease the whole time. Every single person in our very large wedding party commented on how much he hustled and kept us all on time and said he was the hardest working photographer they had every witnessed. Jason knew that getting photos inside my work home at The Fabulous Fox and with our dog was super important to us. And wow, he did not disappoint. My friends and family have all commented just from the "sneak preview" they've seen that the images are editorial/magazine worthy. He was running on fumes but never showed it. His 2nd photog, Adrian Tatum, was awesome as well! When all is said and done, Jason said he would be providing over 1600 photos to us. All in a very hard day's work for Jason. :) I can say is, HIRE HIM! No way you will be disappointed!

Jason was my photographer for both engagement pictures and my wedding day. Both sets of pictures exceeded my expectations. His ability to capture both posed shots and candids is amazing. My husband hates getting his picture taken, and you would never know with how Jason was able to catch his personality with the candid shots. Jason really is everything you could want in a photographer. I wanted someone fun, laid back, and easy going who would put everyone at ease- including my somewhat camera-shy husband :) My entire wedding party was talking about how easy he was to work with- he could pose you if you needed it but would also capture all the candid moments. The shots he captured were absolutely BEAUTIFUL and show real emotion. He did research ahead of time and knew good places to take us to get great shots. He even handled a kind of weird situation with another group looking to take pictures in the same spot with professionalism and confidence so I never felt like I had to take that stress on. I was so worried about how the pictures would turn out and I could not be more excited and happy looking at them and showing them off. Also, no tricks about who has the rights to the photos- they're all yours afterwards. And somehow he's still very affordable, too. Absolutely recommend!!!

Jason is THE BEST in the business. We hired Jason to do our wedding photography after a meet-n-greet at a local coffee shop. Our personalities jived immediately and we got our engagement photoshoot on the books right then and there. Jason took us to Lafayette Square Park in StL for our engagement session and the photos were UNREAL good! Fast forward to wedding time and our original set date of 3/28 was canceled due to Covid but Jason stayed patient and was totally available for our rescheduled date of 9/5 - what a champ! Wedding day came and he CAPTURED EVERY SINGLE MOMENT and DETAIL WITHOUT FAIL! Jason got our re-touched pictures back to us in 1 month of the wedding and the entire selection of 800+ shots are absolutely stunning and completely one-of-a-kind! He did a great job with the typical posed shots but the action shots...the candid "didn't know he was there" shots are what makes his work stand out from the rest. We've had Jason do a session of family photos for us, also and every single pic was perfect. HIRE JASON TODAY and thank me later <3

Jason was the ideal photographer for our wedding and reception at Schlafly Tap Room. He pulled us aside for a minimal amount of time to take staged photos and then spent the rest of the night blending into the event capturing candid moments. The photos expertly captured our special night without looking forced or posed. We had so much fun working with Jason and his work turned out absolutely stunning. We will cherish the memories he captured for years to come. Jason was fantastic!! He listened to what we needed, and totally delivered. We specifically wanted mainly candid shots, with only a few staged ones, and the photos turned out beautifully. He also understood that my husband and I are very awkward in posed photos and made us feel comfortable and at ease (as much as was possible on our wedding day!). Jason was a great wedding photographer! So glad we picked him! He’s more reasonably priced that a lot of photographers we looked at. He made us feel comfortable, really listened to what we needed, was helpful during the wedding, took charge, and took SO MANY pictures! Jason did an excellent job with our wedding. Due to a family illness, we had to unexpectedly change our wedding date. Jason was flexible and accommodating. My husband is not a fan of having his picture taken. However, Jason got several great shots of him with his relaxed approach. Jason did such a wonderful job! He was great to work with and leading up to our wedding was always good at getting back to our emails. He did a fantastic job on our wedding day, all the pictures turned out beautiful! Me and my husband are not great at posing, but he did a good job on directing us so they turned out good. I love the vibrant colors on the finished pictures, they look as bright and lively. He was very nice and easy to work with, I'm very happy we went with Jason!

Jason was SUCH a pleasure to work with and delivered some incredible shots of all our special moments! He took both our engagement and wedding photos, and even though I’m incredibly un-photogenic, he still managed to get so many great shots of us! My favorites were his candids of us, and our friends and family. Expect beautifully lit photos, great candidas, natural poses, very little canned posed photos like the typical (unless that’s what you want!), and a super fun guy spend the day with. He’ll send you a TON of pictures- we had about 6 hours with him and that provided more than enough great shots. Jason is very professional and personable. He was by far my favorite wedding vendor. My parents threw my fiancé and I a beautiful engagement party this past month. I browsed through so many websites and reviews in order to find the right photographer for our day. After seeing Jason's work and speaking to him on the phone, I instantly knew that he would be perfect for us. Jason is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I scrolled through countless wedding photographers and cringed at how posed & cheesy all the photos were. When I found No Hidden Path, I got goosebumps looking through his unique work that captured the true, authentic, candid moments of people's big days and some raging concerts. My husband and I already feel uncomfortable getting our pictures taken, but Jason made us feel at ease. Our engagement photos were so incredible and he even got amazing pictures of our two pitbulls (and that was no easy feat.) He has shared a few photos from our wedding last weekend and they are already my favorite photos that have even been taken of us!! Jason Gonulsen did an absolutely beautiful job shooting our wedding. He went above and beyond, spending time with us scouting locations at our venue, making suggestions and taking tons of notes. On the day of the ceremony, he and his assistant arrived promptly and worked through the entire (unseasonable hot!) day, capturing dozens of really nice images while moving naturally through the event and minimizing distractions. The photos Jason made for us will help keep the memory of that special day fresh for years. I'd recommend him wholeheartedly for anyone's wedding or special event.

My wife and I found Jason by scouring portfolios online, and we could not have made a better decision for our engagement photos and wedding. Jason is punctual, professional, and passionate about bringing your individual vision to life. I had the experience this past year of attending another wedding where the photographers were not as attuned to the wishes of the couple. In light of that, I really cannot over-state how valuable it is to have a photographer like Jason who prioritizes and delivers on your artistic vision. 10/10 would do it all again- Honestly, doing our wedding party photos with him was our favorite part of the day!

Jason photographed our March 2018 wedding and we could not have asked for a better photographer! Our engagement and weddings photos are STUNNING and we’ve gotten so many complements on them! We really wanted a photojournalistic style of photography for our wedding, and Jason is amazing at capturing all of the little moments! (I swear he’s capable of being in 2 places at once!)
