Wow! Caleb sure is great at what he does. While searching for videographers in Maui came across his films and agreed we liked his style/quality the best. After our initial call we were so excited for him to film our elopement as we knew we had made the right choice! He’s so friendly and easy to talk to even when he’s asking important questions and he takes your preferences seriously. On the day of our ceremony we had an absolute blast. He really did an amazing job capturing our moments made a beautiful film we’ll enjoy watching for years to come. As someone who doesn’t feel like the most photogenic person, Caleb managed to make look great and without it feeling forced. Working with Caleb was like hanging out with an old friend - we had a blast. He went above and beyond, even capturing moments outside the hours we had paid for. The video is perfect and the film of the ceremony is of equal quality. Even his audio equipment must be top notch, despite waves crashing around us the audio is came in crystal clear. 10/10 I would highly recommend you choose him to film your special day.

Caleb is so talented! He creates such joyous and beautiful videos. He did an incredible job of catching so many special moments without us even noticing. All of our footage looks so natural and really captures the love and happiness we felt that day surrounded by all of our favorite people. Beyond the work itself, Caleb is also such a kind person. He was such good, calm, positive energy to be around throughout the day. He was helpful to me, the bride, and worked wonderfully with our other vendors. If you can book him, I highly highly recommend it. His one minute teaser clip had us and our families in tears from how beautifully he captured everything!

Caleb is AMAZING!! He captured our wedding day so perfectly, and all the details he included were ones that were so important! Definitely recommend for your wedding video needs. We got the Super 8 Film, instead of the traditional, and it was so beautifully done, I know it will be a keepsake forever!

If you're on the fence about having a videographer at your wedding, my advice is JUST DO IT! And, hire Caleb! I wanted a videographer for our wedding but my husband was a little nervous at first and told me that he didn't want to do any fake or cheesey things just for video. After talking with Caleb and watching his films I knew this wouldn't be an issue on our wedding day. From the moment I first met Caleb in person on our wedding day, it was like just having another friend at your wedding. He was able to capture all the REAL moments (like when my veil flew off my head just after being pronounced husband and wife - this made it into our film and Caleb made it look like it was supposed to happen). By having Caleb there for the wedding I got to put away my phone all day and just enjoy the present moment, because I knew that Caleb and his second shooter, Tom, were there capturing everything. Caleb was able to get the feel of mine and my husbands relationship very quickly and allowed us to just be ourselves. I also booked an extra day of filming with Caleb after the wedding and I wanted to do a hike but wasn't sure the best place to go. I mentioned this to Caleb and he had the perfect suggestion to hike up Waihe'e Ridge which made our film that much more personalized to us and showed us doing the thing that is what initally brought us together as a couple. Also, it's a very beautiful hike, if you're in Maui, highly suggest doing it! After I shared our film with one of my bridesmaids who had got married a couple years ago and booked a last minute inexperienced videogpaher, said she regretted not investing in someone more experienced to video her wedding. She also said that Caleb did such a great job on our film capturing the entire vibe of the wedding and our personalities. I can't wait to watch this video every year on our anniversary. I love that we will be able to share this video with our kids, grandkids, and even after we are gone, my hope is this video will be passed down from generation to generation. Just book Caleb. You will not regret it.

I was nervous after the devastation in Lahaina that Caleb would not be able to capture our wedding but he went above and beyond to make sure he was still there! Best wedding videographer! Caleb is not only very talented but he also truly cares about us as a couple. Deciding on Caleb to film our wedding is one of the easiest decisions that we made. His film style is warm and unique, which is a perfect match to Maui and what we are looking for. From the communication to the execution, everything went very smoothly. He also shared a teaser film the day after our wedding! He is very knowledgable about the island and all of the best film spots. I had specific location requests for our sunset photos/film, and Caleb was able to direct us to the right spots and find the best angle which saved us so much time on the wedding day, and gave us peace of mind. Very unfortunately Caleb and his family lost their home and his office from the recent Maui fire. During the evacuation, his first reaction was to grab all of his wedding film footage but nothing else, so all of his wedding couples would have their footage safe. We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Caleb!! From before our wedding day all the way to the final product of the videos we can’t say enough great things about him! Even when everything goes wrong, nothing can ruin your day with Caleb at your side. CALEB IS PURE MAGIC and instantly felt like an old friend to us. Sometimes you make plans, and the island has another. We spent a year planning our dream wedding day. The night before a sunrise ceremony, we had ONE HOUR TO PLAN A WHOLE NEW WEDDING. Caleb called to let us know that two landslides had literally just taken out the road to Hana. Our ceremony spot was in between those two landslides! We went from blissfully unaware, to full on panic mode, to instantly feeling at peace with plan B. If you’re going to get news like that, you want it to come from Caleb-TRUST ME. He was so calm and being a local had so many amazing back up locations ready to go! His connections helped us moved the other vendors around with ease. We went to sleep that night excited and confident that no matter what happened, we’d all just roll with it. The next morning at our now (stunning) cliffside ceremony, it was raining with hurricane winds. None of that mattered. Caleb captured the most beautiful footage and the audio was unbelievably clear. So, even when everything went wrong, it all ended up absolutely perfect!! Caleb saved our wedding day and we’re forever grateful for the beautiful memories we get to enjoy for a lifetime!

Caleb is amazing! We initially were not going to hire videography for the wedding because we had a hard time budgeting, but we are SO GLAD that we did. We would have regretted it if we did not have video (No Ka Oi specifically) there. For anyone on the fence, make room in your budget NOW! We booked him about a month before the wedding, and luckily he was still available. We really appreciated that he made the effort to get to know us and our style with the short notice. When we finally decided yes on video, it was him or no one! He stood out to me because of how colorful and upbeat his videos are. This resonates with him too! Caleb is a very down to earth and joyful person. Him and his video assistant, Summer, made us feel super comfortable. I loved how they captured us and our guests naturally and put together an awesome video of how fun the evening was. Your wedding goes by so fast. There is so much love and energy that we were overstimulated and you can’t be everywhere at once! It was very helpful to have Caleb and Summer fill in our blanks and video moments we missed. We had such a great time working with No Ka Oi Video and highly recommend it to everyone!

It has been so amazing & special to have our day captured in such an artistic, creative way that really sums up the whole vibe of the event. Wow how to even begin... When my husband and I first began wedding planning we almost cut videography out of the budget. We knew we didn't want to feel posed, staged, or like we couldnt be in the moment, and at that time just couldn't find work that exactly fit our unique vibe- until we found No Ka Oi on instagram and saw Caleb's work. I was crying watching past couples' videos, who we didn't even know! We were immediately sold. Leading up to the day and from the very first phone call, Caleb was an absolute breath of fresh air. We could tell he genuinely cared, he is so down to earth, and from start to finish made sure he got to know us and what we wanted. He is also extremely intuitive which is a quality you need from someone capturing your most special day before meeting you in person. He brought SUCH a fun vibe to the wedding and we actually felt he was one of our guests because he fit in so well with our group. He had a big smile on his face the whole time which made us less self conscious (because let's face it- you just never know how you're gonna be on camera!), and made sure to stay and capture all the candid dancing moments which was important to us. Well, we just watched our film for the first time, and it exceeded ALL of our expectations. He truly transported us back to that day and captured it exactly how we dreamed it would be. The way he blended the sentimental and emotional moments from the ceremony and speeches with the funny and upbeat memories in between was impeccable. Caleb and his incredible team captured our wedding in the most beautiful, authentic way! I just got our video back (right on time per Caleb’s estimate!) and I cried at the gorgeous way he captured our big day! We got married in February 2022 of the beautiful island of Maui. We decided to elope the moment we got engaged. The biggest stresses honestly of eloping was figuring out my photographer and videographer. I did my research and came across Caleb for videos. Deciding and hiring your videographer / photographer is one of the more stressful decisions as a bride. I can not explain how great of a decision it was to hire Caleb! Not only was he AMAZING on the day of , but he also really helped calm my nerves about this decision and how to have a great duo (video + photo) team leading up to the event. This was a very small & intimate destination wedding- bride & groom traveled from Japan & the bride spoke little English. Because of this, I helped with the planning. Caleb was the BEST man for the job. He fully understood the issues involved & listened to their concerns & requests. He made the process effortless for all involved--quick to respond to emails, available by phone when we had questions & the day of was like a fly on the wall--we hardly noticed him there! 100% professional & reliable-the finished films were exceptional-highly recommend him!

It's hard to put into words how amazing Caleb is. From the beginning, he was awesome to work with – super easy to communicate with, friendly, and helpful from the beginning. We got the chance to meet him in person on a trip out to Maui before our wedding and liked him just as much in person. We had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID, and he was completely accommodating, kind, and supportive throughout the process – when I know he was dealing with a TON of other changes and cancellations at the same time. BUT, perhaps most importantly of all, we recently received our wedding video and we are absolutely IN LOVE with it...he captured the energy of the day so perfectly and we have watched it over and over and over again, constantly finding new little details and moments that bring us joy. Our whole wedding planning process was a bit chaotic - with COVID-related changes, losing vendors, a wildly disorganized planner, etc., but Caleb and his team brought calm and reassurance to the whole process (and they're just fun people to have onsite at your event, too). And we absolutely can't imagine having ended it without this amazing video footage to remember it with (we did not budget for video and ended up adding it on late and above our budget...and it was the best decision we made). If you are evaluating videographers/cinematographers, I promise you don't need to look anywhere else. Go with Caleb!!

Caleb is 10/10, highly recommended! From the very beginning of the process when I sent an inquiry to the very end, Caleb was so unbelievably easy to work with. We hired Caleb to livestream our wedding ceremony for our elopement on Lana'i, Hawai'i. We could not have selected a better videographer to livestream our ceremony. We did not have the opportunity to meet him before the ceremony, but he was responsive and professional throughout the entire process which made me feel comfortable confident that I could trust Caleb on our big day. For the livestream, Caleb provided a link for our guests to access a webpage, it directed you to a page where you would find a photo and a welcome message to our friends and family (if guests arrived early) or directly to the ceremony (for on-time or late guests). This personalized touched was the perfect way to bring inclusivity to our love day. Upon arriving at our ceremony location, we met Caleb and he was smiling, personable and easy going (even though we were late). He brought great energy and I would hire him again for our livestreaming/ videographing needs. He was professional, responsive and absolutely incredible. Livestream Bonus: For guests that are not tech savvy or can’t make the ceremony time, he offers an edited version of your ceremony livestream which makes for a memorable video to playback for decades to come. Where to begin? There are so many wonderful things to be said about Caleb, I've been putting off this review because trying to sum it all up seems impossible! We hired Caleb to be our wedding videographer the second we secured a venue and a date (which was going to be destination, out in Maui pre-pandemic). I researched so many videographers and his page stood out to me above all the others because of the genuine emotion I personally felt watching literally any of his wedding highlight videos. I felt like I could instantly relate to him and I knew that's the vibe we wanted for our wedding film. After almost a year of chatting with Caleb and getting to know him over IG, the pandemic totally messed up all our wedding plans, and in the end, we had to move our destination dream wedding to a local location due to health precautions. I was so sad. I was more sad about losing this particular vendor than I was about giving up Maui- I knew we wanted to try and keep him as our videographer if we could swing it! Caleb was so kind and understanding about it all, and when I asked if he'd possibly consider traveling to us out in CA for it instead, he didn't skip a beat- agreed to it right away, and didn't even charge us any sort of travel fee other than physically getting him there. I was floored at his kindness and generosity. He went above and beyond in how much effort he put into getting to know my husband, our 2 year old daughter and I leading up to our big day. He flew in a few days early even, and we met up for a little pre-wedding adventure to get some additional footage of us together (his idea! Who is this guy? Why is he so nice?!). We ended up going to the zoo, and it is still one of my favorite memories of our wedding weekend. To be able to spend time together as a family without the chaos of wedding to-do's was the perfect opportunity to decompress and re-focus on what truly mattered to us the day before our wedding. I'm still so grateful to him for proposing that idea. The day of our wedding, he helped immensely in keeping us on time and ensuring the flow of the day went smoothly. He was so calm, pleasant, and confident- I found myself so relieved knowing he was leading the way with my photographer (who also loved him!). He had us read our vows privately, into a microphone before we left for the venue as well-- another brilliant idea I'm so glad he proposed, because it got my jitters out and centered me (yet again) on what we really wanted to focus on that day. He just got it. That's the best way to describe Caleb- he just gets it. The finished masterpiece he created for us is beyond anything I could've ever asked for. It captured every moment I never want to forget about our day absolutely perfectly. The song selections, the footage (some of which was from our pre-wedding adventure) he chose to creatively show during certain vows or snippets of speeches he decided to highlight in the video-- everything was pure perfection and really told our "story" so perfectly and authentically. Our friends/guests kept asking me if he was an old friend of ours because it just seemed like he knew us forever. We felt the same! In conclusion, hiring Caleb was the best investment we could've made for our wedding and we would hire him 100x over. We love you Caleb!

Since this was a destination wedding in a week, I had no time to research this company and just pray Caleb would deliver something memorable. Well boy did I get dealt a good hand. Caleb is a magician! When our Maui wedding plans got scrapped, he was able to pivot and create an amazing video out of our Covid Zoom wedding footage and some snapshots. He’s really creative and talented and was a pleasure to work with. Caleb is an amazing videographer and you absolutely need him to film your wedding! We had a COVID wedding so things were a little bit different. All of our vendors were in masks and although we couldn’t see there smiles you could feel there smiles hidden beneath along with the amazing energy that they radiated. Caleb was no exception. I will be honest, when I read that he chooses the song to go along with the footage that he thinks best represents the couple and their style, I was worried. How could he know what we like? The way he edits videos with his creative b-rolls, speed changes, depth of field, and wide shots creates a dramatic feel when you watch it you have a sense of how it felt being there. Did I mention he has an ear of picking the right song every time? Caleb also created our engagement video while visiting Oregon. It was such a great opportunity of getting to know him so well. I urge couples who are thinking of a videographer to get to know your videographer. When you get to know Caleb, you just feel so comfortable working such a professional. Caleb was absolutely amazing to work with, both on our wedding day and afterwards. He is funny, so thoughtful and goes above and beyond! He made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day, which was hard as my husband and I are both a bit camera shy! We absolutely adored our highlight film and love the fact we got to purchase the raw film on a hard drive.
