Hi! My name is Evelína. I was born and raised in Slovakia, a tiny country in the center of Europe, home to many well-preserved castles, ruins, and manor houses, rich in history, cultural heritage, and bountiful lands. As far back as I can remember, I have been imaginative and idealistic. I grew up in humble surroundings with an appreciation for the simple things, which is reflected in my "less is more" approach to photography. My adolescence was enriched by exposure to castles, their ruins, forests, streams, rocky mountains, wildflower fields, animals, folklore, children, and romance. It is who I am at heart. I am a hopeless romantic, with an eye for anything with emotion, history, and intrigue. Today, I live in Northeast Pennsylvania, in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. I am settled in East Stroudsburg, married to the love of my life who shares in my roots and romanticism. I am also the mom of two amazing kids, thanks to whom I realized my passion for photography was more than just a hobby. Instead, it became a calling, a way of supporting our family, my dreams, and theirs, and a way to connect with others. Being a wedding photographer is a vocation which has allowed me to harness and utilize my creativity, as well as that of those of who work with me, for over 10 years. I have made many friends, documented hundreds of milestones, and captured countless memories. I would be honored to be your chronicler, too. moment we first spoke, she was completely on board with our unique timeline and flexible about every detail. Her professionalism and communication were top-tier. Contracting was easy, and pricing was very fair. She was responsive throughout the entire process, and her onboarding made everything smooth. Day-of, she struck the perfect balance between giving direction and letting moments unfold naturally. She captured everything—from big emotional highlights to candid in-between moments—with such an artistic eye. Then the photos arrived… wow. We received over 1,000 images, and so many were already edited beautifully. This was not a random photo dump—it was high-quality, thoughtful work. We even had a curated album of edited shots before the next weekend. Choosing favorites is legitimately going to be the hardest part. We went with Evelina because of the style she showcased on her site, and she did not disappoint with putting her unique touch on our unique day. She rocks. We’re incredibly grateful we chose Evelina. r reviews were stellar, and I appreciated that she attends to people less comfortable in front of the camera. The rest was just chance, and we really lucked out. Evelína is incredibly sweet. She is accommodating. She is extremely comfortable- and comforting. She takes time on her calls to talk through everything, answer questions, provide tips, give advice. In person, she’s the real deal. She’s professional, creative, and her personality makes it impossible to not get comfortable. I’ve never gotten married before so I’m not positive, but I’d imagine that the amount of guests and family actually commenting on how wonderful/friendly/awesome the photographers were is not a common experience. Her daughter, part of the team, is just as amazing and helpful. All of this to say, it pales in comparison to the final product. My husband and I have been scrolling through the photos for the last several days. They are incredible and we could not be happier. Our only complaint- there are so many beautiful photos we have no idea how to narrow them down. Book Evelína today. There’s a reason everyone loves her.
