She was very prompt about responding to emails and super easy to work with - very friendly and lighthearted. The ceremony itself went perfectly, and our guests still talk about how moving and joyful it was. We are so happy we chose Rev Pam as our officiant!

But then due to our insurance issues, I asked her three weeks out if she could also perform a small ceremony for us at the end of the month. With such short notice, I wasn't expecting her to say yes! She went above and beyond to help us figure out what to do next! Getting a marriage license in the pandemic was quite the endeavor (we barely got it the day before), and then figuring out where to hold the ceremony in the right county was another challenge. She was there every step offering suggestions and keeping me sane! We hadn't finalized the ceremony itself up to that point; but she has a beautiful sample to start with, and it was quick and easy to change things with her as needed. The day of the "minimony" she arrived promptly before us, and it was perfect! My family was so impressed with the "last-minute" ceremony and couldn't say enough nice things about Rev Pam! She sent in the license the same day, and it went so smoothly! Now for our second ceremony next year, I'll update then. I'm looking forward to working with her again!

g. My husband & I chose not to be married in a church but it was important for us to have a person of God marry us to honor his family’s faith. Pam helped us coordinate a wedding ceremony that involved some spiritual religious aspects while still being modern and allowing me to include my favorite Bob Marley quote :) We worked with her remotely via email and phone which was very easy. She attended the rehearsal and ceremony for one affordable rate. It is clear she does this because she loves what she does rather than for the money like some of the other wedding reverends out there. Thank you Pam for making our day special! Highly recommend.

ou'll know exactly what I mean. MOST of them are RIDICULOUS, I don't need to pay someone $700 to do something that a friend can do for free!! Im serious , that's what other officiants are going for. Like...whatever happened to the vow of poverty??? Anyways I had already decided to just pay the license fee for a friend to become an officiant & marry my fiancé & I. I was REALLY stressed out bc it was 3 months before our wedding, everyone was telling me to find an officiant (or create one) asap...& nothing felt right. Every other "vendor" was hired and ready to go except for the officiant, Bc I couldn't find one who I didn't think was just super greedy. If they're rated decently on The Knot, chances are I emailed him/her. And wasn't a fan. I mean it's kind of hypocritical imo to be a Rev or Pastor or whatever, & charge a couple who just wants to get married around $700? Come on. The hypocrisy is mind-boggling. And most of them are like that. What a joke. Then I found Rev Pam. On The Knot, of all places, while doing a search for the Glenview area. She doesn't list prices, so I was initially skeptical. But for some reason I connected with her right away after only one meal...I just had a positive feeling right away. I was PRAYING she would be reasonably priced....and when she told me her cost I literally teared up with RELIEF. I knew she would be good too, I mean look at all the positive reviews here! Brides, I was in your shoes....if we take the time to review on here AFTER our wedding, it means we truly want to help you find the best. I'm BEYOND grateful that I found Rev Pam. She was NOT ONLY THE most affordable, but her ceremony was INCREDIBLE. Guests literally interrupted my post-ceremony picture shoot w family to ask where they could find Rev Pam to thank her. I had guests in the audience CRYING Bc it was such a beautiful ceremony. It was personalized, it was serious yet light at the same time....she really read my audience and tailored to them. She truly makes everything SO EASY and lovely....you really don't need to keep looking. She touched my heart with her amazing ceremony. If you're reading this...you FOUND your officiant. I'm telling you...she's amazing, she cares, she's affordable, she's just a kind, GOOD person. Call or email her so you don't have to stress about finding your officiant anymore. You found her.

She also emailed me a full script about a week or so before our wedding so we would have a chance to review it and ensure it was everything we wanted.
