It’s impossible to write a review that’s worthy of this venue and this team.
From day one Lynn and Cassie were SO helpful. Any question I had was answered in a few hours with det...
ail.
Ceremony arbor, all tables and chairs, Table cloths, chargers, all dinner wear are included with the venue- napkins and decor is all you have to provide (rare and saves you thousands of dollars) - also set up and cleaned up for you. You are only required to set up your decorations. And at the end of the night they clean up and set everything that’s yours in one spot for an easy pickup the next day.
Cassie (day of coordinator) made the planning process seamless and somehow fun. She helps the couples through the entire process and relieves stress anywhere she can. (And I mean as far as even reaching out to vendors on our behalf)
Their preferred vendors list is TOP TIER- like seriously look no further. They do this every weekend and see what vendors are professional and organized. It made all the difference for us. - I would like to note that we choose our own videographer and photographer and it was an easy and smooth process to get them “approved” - I put this in quotes because truly they are just ensuring they are licensed (duh!! This is a business after all no one can be mad they require this) - The venue is organized and they know exactly what is needed to make it as easy as possible for the couple.
We were welcomed warmly to the inn - which felt like home for the weekend. (For those of you that have stayed in a high end bnb it’s similar vibes!) the staff was incredible and gave us our space and would only check in to see if we needed anything, (or more mimosas 🤪) -breakfast was provided from the inn and we were able to bring in lunch that day from Hannaford for our vendors and party!
Venue does require a stop to the music at 9:30 but they were not pushing people out and let people say goodbye and grab the shuttle
Cassie ensured rehearsal and the day of went perfect and everything was timely throughout the whole night. *note Cassie is not your wedding planner!!! She’s there to help you throughout the process and make your life easier, not plan your wedding for you
Lynn & Matt made sure anything we needed for our stay at the inn / anything venue related was done for us immediately.
One last thing to note- do not let the “strict” rules reviews deter you. We toured 15+ venues. Unless the venue was brand new and still getting their footing, or a very casual venue - they all had rules and regulations. It’s really just to protect you and your guests. Respect the venue, and they will respect you.
You will not regret choosing this venue I promise !!!! It was easily the best day of our lives.
Pros: The property is very beautiful, especially the ceremony area. The owners and coordinator, Cassie, are extremely hard workers and care deeply that everything goes well and is ...
in order. The majority of their list of vendor recommendations were amazing. The wedding felt very organized and everything was on time.
However, the cons are the reason for the 3 stars.
Cons: The inn is extremely strict to the point where it felt uncomfortable staying there, and it made planning stressful. When we asked about adding on an extra half hour, the prices associated with that were so high that we ended up deciding against it. When asked about the price being so high, the email response from them regarding it was written by ChatGPT (the chatgpt header was accidentally left on the email), which I am unsure whether to rely on that as truth. We were often told about different Maine laws that were the reason for their strict rules and prices, but a couple times when we would research the mentioned law, we couldn’t find anything about it. We even asked other business and venue owners in the area, and they never heard of such laws.
Our wedding had a strict end time of 9PM. Very understandable as that was in our contract. But the guests felt rushed out of the venue even before 9PM and they had the DJ announce to everyone that they had to leave asap. They started cleaning up my decorations at 845PM, and seemed stressed with my large wedding. They even locked the guests' bathrooms at 9PM, leaving guests without a place to go before they headed back to their lodging, some a half hour away. I felt like I had to watch all my guests like a hawk, which is unfair stress to put on the bride. I have been to other weddings where the end time was 9PM, but guests were allowed time to say goodbye to each other, use the restrooms, and filter out.
I wanted to love this place, but the stress of planning and making sure I was following their rules made me just want to get my wedding over and done with. If you have a small wedding, maybe 50 or under, I would recommend them, but know what you’re getting into. For larger weddings, I honestly wish we went elsewhere. Also, their number one DJ recommendation, who we did not go with so I can’t speak to their services, uses his public business facebook page to post misogynistic and sexist posts.
Cons: very strict. All your vendors MUST have a business license and insurance. And I mean ALL. My cupcake lady, who only dropping them off and immediately leaving, was required to...
have a business license. Have your heart set on grandma making your cake? Nope. Not allowed. Want a friend to be your DJ? Not allowed either. Also, no potlucks. No coolers. No air mattresses. Want to have mimosas while getting ready? Not allowed either. Want to DIY your decor and hang it yourself? Also not allowed. They have to protect their liquor license and they care a lot about liability issues, even if you have event insurance. So you have to hire a professional vendor for EVERYTHING, which adds to the cost.
Also, our room didn't have AC; only a ceiling fan.
Pros: Lynn is a bad bitch. Lynn is a guard dog. Lynn is an advocate. She was Godsend. She is very protective of her couples. When I was getting scammed by another vendor and didn't know what to do, she told off the vendor and her advice to me was invaluable. You need and deserve someone like Lynn on your team.
Cassie is on top of her stuff. This woman made the day so smoothly and she always made sure we had a cocktail waiting for us. We needed a lot of directions and she made instructions clear and idiot-proof.
The venue is adorable. Bummed that they no longer have the birch arbor in the thumbnail but still very pretty.
Rooms are soooooo clean. My new wife and I even got free mugs.
Also shout out to the chef who was kind enough to trim and press the stems of our bridal bouquets. Excellent customer service. Voodoo worth every penny. Proximity to the lake made for gorgeous photos too! 5/5 A+ perfect wedding. Highly recommend. The pros outweigh the cons for sure.
Noble House Inn + Venue was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. The inn itself is beautifully decorated and all the rooms are cute, quaint, and exceptionally clean. Across the...
road is Highland Lake which makes for fantastic pictures that really capture the essence and beauty of Maine. It truly feels like you're in a New England Hallmark romantic comedy! The outdoor grounds and ceremony space are also incredibly beautiful, lined with flowers and birch bark trees.
The real stars of the show are Lynn, Cassie, and Matt. They truly care about you and your special day. They will do everything and everything to make you feel at home and at ease! Their communication throughout the planning process was quick and effective and they went above and beyond to provide us with things that other venues would charge for, such as tables, chairs, linens, etc. Their list of recommended vendors also shined brightly and helped to make our special day even more special.
On the day of our wedding, a massive storm hit the area. Right when we were supposed to be walking down the aisle, the power went out and the intense rain literally knocked the power lines onto the road! Lynn, Matt, and Cassie kept calm and kept us all calm as well. They quickly got the generator running and the power back on with the help of the fire marshal that lives next door! They truly saved our day and it’s a moment we will remember and appreciate forever.
We're so grateful for their professionalism and dedication to making our wedding day perfect. We couldn't recommend the Noble House Inn + Venue more highly and we're so happy with how everything turned out!
Noble House made our wedding weekend magical.
After finding out my venue was being sold two months before my big day, I scrambled to find a new location on short notice. I am so thankful I found Lynn and Matt and The Noble Hou...
se Inn. Their Inn is so beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. I have been getting non stop compliments from my guests on the venue location. Each room is unique, beautiful and inviting in its own way. The suites have separate sitting areas so you can double up guests without sacrificing privacy. The beautiful grounds offer many different locations for wedding photos. Lynn and Matt were very flexible with some last minute changes and were so warm and welcoming to us and our guests. The were very accomodating to the physical limitations and dietary limitations of some our guests. I believe everything happens for a reason and I although changing a venue last minute can be stressful I am so glad I chose The Noble House Inn, Lynn and Matt made it so easy for us and I can’t thank them enough. They had left a box of chocolates in our room for us and it was such a nice touch. I can’t wait to come back and visit on our anniversary
We had a great experience with the Noble House, start to finish. Their attention to detail was immaculate and their ability to run things seamlessly allowed us to enjoy our day! 10...
