About this vendor
NOBO is short for "northbounder", a label given to hikers going north on the Appalachian Trail (AT). In 2017, we undertook the odyssey that is the AT. However, we love the term for more than sentimental reasons. To us, the meaning is greater than the literal direction one is traveling.
Heading true north suggests, figuratively, a genuine or sincere path in life - one that is straight and true. In other words, it means knowing yourself, being aware of your purpose, and living intentionally.
While the name "NOBO" honors our adventures, our photography honors yours. We believe that everyone has their own unique story to share with the world. We want to be invited into your adventure, your story.

edding day that she honestly cares about doing a great job and getting the shots you want. What sets Kate apart from others is her creative eye. I like the pictures of the poses/shots I requested but all of the pictures I LOVE were poses she chose or recommended. Kate is very resourceful and she sees beauty in places others miss it.
We had our engagement session during a cold, winter day. She was positive and happy the entire time! The pictures turned out beautiful.
She was very organized on the wedding day. Formal pictures went quick and smooth. She did not miss any of the important shots I requested.
When you look at her blog it is evident she is a professional and doesn't just shoot as a weekend hobby. I highly recommend Kate and her work.
