we very much enjoyed working with both during our engagement photos and during our wedding. They are extremely talented both in shooting close-up portraits as well as landscapes, and were very creative in the shots they imagined at our venue. We will always cherish the incredibly beautiful photos they captured at our wedding. They showed up early while we were still getting ready and stayed through our sparkler exit, capturing each and every special moment. They were also just such a joy to work with leading up to the wedding, and were a calming presence during the chaos of the day. We got a large selection of preview photos back a week after our wedding, and the entire portfolio within six weeks.

Sean and didn’t even need to meet the other one. They are the best photographers you’ll ever get for your wedding. Here’s the thing, it’s not just the photos. The photos are beyond what I ever thought we’d get and they are everything we wanted. It was so much more than that. Noelle and Sean probably called their company Summerlight Photography because they do incredible things with light in their photos, but to me they lit up every room they entered. I was stressed out the morning of the wedding and when they burst into the hotel room they were a whirlwind of competence. They greeted me and took charge. Immediately I felt better. They were so bright and cheerful and genuinely excited to be a part of the day. I felt like everything was taken care of and didn’t need to direct them at all. They never lost this exuberance for the 11-hour day. From the first minute to the last, they kept up a great energy and it bled into everyone they were photographing. It didn’t feel like we were awkwardly being photographed by strangers, it felt like we had these awesome friends who happened to be brilliantly gifted at photography. I’m a person who is Type A and photos were my most important thing. They live on forever! I’ve got back the sneak peek of my photos (about 50 so far) and they gave us a range of everything we asked for and more. The colors are so deep and rich, while incorporated an airy brightness. Because they were natural and easy to work with, there are no strained poses or unnatural expressions. No forced smiles. I knew I would want a lot of photos and when I gave them my list, they didn’t even blink. They said no problem. Just from the sneak peek, I can see they’ve managed to check absolutely everything we wanted. They are beautiful photos we’ll cherish for a lifetime. Crisp, clear, perfectly posed, and all flattering. They feel singularly unique to our style we asked for. They kept us on time and we took TONS of photos. We went to multiple places and they coordinated us. It took the stress off of me. We were within 15 minutes of our timeline and that’s unheard of. They were waiting for any and every cue to capture those important moments. They even brought a stepladder to capture large group shots and add flattering angles to some portraits. We literally had SO MANY family groupings and they managed to coordinate all those people (who don’t like photos) into the very narrow window we had at the church. I even forgot some of the shots I asked for and Noelle reminded me and I would have been so disappointed had I forgotten! I am a person who will analyze every review before I make a decision on a vendor and I want to know what I’m getting into before I sign a contract. Summerlight Photography will bring such light to your wedding day with the photos and with their beautiful energy. They’re incredible photographers that remembered everything we asked for and gave us photos we were blown away with. Their range allows them to truly give you something that looks like an artist’s collection, not a one-note stock album. We adored working with Noelle and Sean and I am so thankful I found them for our wedding day. Trust me, you’ll have these photos for a lifetime. It’ll be the best choice you make.

They were around discreetly capturing the day at times, and during portraits they took charge and helped pose us in a natural but not stiff and awkward way, and they were absolute pros at wrangling our crazy family and making our group family shots painless. g was via Skype, since we were 2 hours away from each other. In this computer-screen meeting they won over my fiance immediately. (We had met several photographers in person and he wasn't into any of them.) -My fiance was diagnosed with cancer in the months leading up to our wedding, and so Noelle & Sean worked with us to try to schedule engagement pictures (traveling to us, rearranging dates around chemo treatments, etc.). Due to health and time we never got to take the photos, but we hope for a family photo session in the future! -On the wedding day, this team was amazing! They made both of us feel at ease as photos were taken, coaching us and directing us along the way. --Sean made my fiance feel comfortable (he hates photos taken of himself, especially in the time during/after chemo) and all the groomsmen enjoyed their photo sessions. --Noelle captured amazing moments with my family and bridesmaids, all while my nephews pretended to be ninjas and run around the house. --Their attention to detail and coordination truly helped the day run smoothly! They handled last minute photography location changes with ease (our limo hit construction on the way to the reception, making us later than we had planned to the location) and took amazing photos through the sprinkles and start of rain. --Not only did they focus on the bridal party, but they captured so many wonderful pictures of our guests. Numerous family and friends were tickled to have such amazing photos of themselves from the night. I was pleased to be able to look back on who attended and what the evening was like, as I was so busy I couldn't keep up with all of it! -Our photos are truly incredible. Multiple people have told me they look like they belong in a magazine. Crisp, HD, beautiful, whimsical, awe-inspiring...all words people have told me about my photos! Seriously, Noelle & Sean were better than I could have believed or asked for in wedding photographers. I would hands-down recommend them to any one I meet.

Just another one of those many stupid things you worry about when you are getting married that you don't really need to worry about. But after we consulted with Noelle and Sean, I was not worried anymore! They added so much positive energy to the fun and happy atmosphere that was our big day, there was no awkwardness at all.
