Nola Live Painting by Kristen Schenck is an art company located in New Orleans, LA. The artists specialize in putting on live shows using acrylic paint. With each brushstroke, couples and guests can enjoy watching the artist at work while socializing at wedding events. As the blank board turns into a blend of color, onlookers will be dazzled to find the surrounding wedding scene come to life on canvas. Growing up, Kristen lived in St. Charles Parish where she started painting gymnasts and other people. While Kristen’s Paw Paw relaxed in his recliner chair, she would share with him her most recent works of art. Her Paw Paw, being a painter himself, would offer words of advice to help her enhance her budding talent. Kristin later went on to formally study art through secondary school and University. After earning her degree, a friend who admired her talent asked Kristin to paint at her wedding. Thus, the rest is history, and Nola Live Painting by Kristen Schenck came to be. Couples can choose from a variety of canvas sizes which can later be displayed at home. Even if Kristin is booked on the special day, she also offers a service where she can paint a wedding scene from a photo. Additionally, Kristin can provide printed cards with the image of the final painting on it. These can be used to write thank you notes which can be sent to guests who attended the celebration.

ack of my dress with the train laid out and my cathedral length veil flowing on top beforehand because I wanted that look to be portrayed in the painting (since my dress would be bustled and veil off during our first dance) and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to look in the painting. Definitely hire Kristen if you are thinking about having a live painting done at your wedding. It is completely worth the money and is a beautiful treasure you will always have from your special day.

She communicates with you throughout the whole process to make sure you get exactly what you want. I must say, she exceeded what we wanted! We still have people that come to us and tell us that they thought the live wedding painter was so unique and they liked seeing our painting evolve throughout the reception.
