This woman-owned business was founded by Lara Moynihan, a corporate attorney, wife, mother, and philanthropist, with the goal of creating employment opportunities in her community. Together with her friend Erika Nolan, Lara wanted to create a unique retail space offering small-batch, fair-trade goods from global artisans. Additionally, it would be a place where people could meet, relax, and recharge over organic food and beverages. Lara fell in love with a retail space located in Chicago's River North neighborhood, and Nomad was born. Nomad Chicago offers a choice of stylish event spaces, perfect for intimate events. With its bright, airy feel and perfectly curated decor, it's a beautiful setting for events of all kinds, from meetings to small wedding receptions.
