Laurie answered our multiple questions everyday for a year leading up to our special day. She was always quick to respond and would give us the answers we needed any time of the day. We had monthly check ins that helped us stay organzized and on track. The month of our wedding seemed almost too easy and not stressful all thanks to the organization of Laurie. Lina was our bar manager and handled everything related to the bar and alcohol service. She was extremely knowledgable and ensured we had enough alch to provide our guests for the entire evening. The bar serivice was top notch and no one ever had to wait long for a drink. The two of them together made for a great team and I could have never pulled off this magical day if it wasn't for their help. Even though I thought I knew how expensive weddings could be, I was still in shock looking at the cost of vendors. Laurie was able to help us narrow down our options to what we really needed and could be done within our budget. I still remember when she suggested I get an envelope box and I told her “I haven’t asked anyone to bring any money” and she told me “believe people will show up with envelopes anyway”, and sure they did. It was also important to have her when I was talking with the vendors the last few weeks. She helped me ask the right questions and made sure every detail was taken care of. They were very knowledgeable about the various details of making a wedding happen, and helped us get good deals with vendors. We used vendors they recommended, one vendor we found ourselves, and in-house venue staff, and they coordinated well with all of them. If ideas we had for decor wouldn’t work, they were great at coming up with ways to incorporate aspects of them into the design of the event. For example, the mother of the bride suggested having pinecones inside the jars we used as centerpieces, but it wasn’t feasible if we wanted the jars to hold flowers, too, so Lina incorporated pinecones into the bouquets themselves, which looked beautiful and worked very well with our autumnal color palette. On the day of the wedding, they were very flexible - the decision of whether to hold the wedding indoors or outdoors was a day-of call due to changing weather, and with their help we were able to have the outdoor wedding that we wanted. They kept stress low and made sure we had food from our buffet at our sweetheart table. Their experience and professionalism is amazing- thank you so much!

Towards the end of the planning process we were messaging Laurie almost every day and she always had the best attitude and sense of humor! She took my photo inspiration and pulled together the most gorgeous arrangements that exceeded my expectations! All in all, we owe everything to Nomade Weddings. I went to them with an idea on how we wanted our wedding to turn out and they exceeded our expectations. From helping us choose vendors, to helping me with the overall design and flow of the wedding, to accompanying me on one of my dress fittings, to attending the rehearsal and orchestrating a flawless processional with 11 bridesmaids & groomsmen, to making sure everything ran smoothly the day of, to bustling my dress effortlessly when my MOH needed help, to holding my lipgloss and having it ready for me to reapply, these ladies were truly heaven sent! Prior to the wedding, Lina makes sure that you know exactly what to expect and makes you feel reassured, knowing that your wedding is in her hands is the greatest! Lina always has things handled and is extremely responsible. Lina works with vendors to make sure that the decorations, florals, caterer etc are all in order for the big day. During the wedding, Lina is extremely attentive and makes sure that not only the bride and groom are taken care of, but that the wedding guests are taken care of as well. She assisted some guests (guests with newborns, guests in wheelchairs) and I cannot begin to thank her enough for all of her assistance. Lina makes sure that the gifts are taken care of and makes sure that all vendors follow the wedding timeline smoothly. At the end of the wedding, Lina makes sure that you have all of your belongings, gifts, decorations etc and cleans up the space. Lina also had her assistants, who were just as amazing as Lina! They were extremely accommodating and again, just wanted everyone to be comfortable and was making sure that everyone was having a great time. I cannot explain how grateful I am! Our guests kept raving about Lina/her assistants and they made sure that we had the greatest wedding!

Between my husband and mine’s travel and work schedules, Lina saved by giving us the much-needed direction and focus to help us along. She understands the wedding industry, and was transparent in all transactions. Her suggestion of photographer, was spot on. It is a colleague she has worked with many times, and her work made me feel and look like a model and eased my nerves on my wedding days. (Our wedding included Indian traditions, and Lina has much experience in this area and was up for the marathon of events!) ross Lina and her website when looking for some help in planning my wedding, I felt an instant connection which only grew stronger when I met Lina for the first time. She totally understood my vision for my wedding day and helped me bring it to life on the day. I had planned most of the wedding myself but knew I needed help on a few aspects as well as on the day of. So I selected the 'Lovely Looking Glass/Partial planning and Day of Coordination' package, which was perfect. Lina provided me with ideas for some vendors I had yet to identify, and had great checklists to help keep me on track. Lina helped me with the things I was finding most challenging - like trying to book hotel blocks, arranging transportation, coordinating details between vendors and my venue, and creating a timeline for the day of the wedding. And on the day of our wedding, Lina was phenomenal! My husband still raves about how great she was in taking charge of him when he arrived at the venue, LOL. Despite all of his prior instructions, he was a bit overwhelmed on the day and Lina made sure he did what he needed to do and that he was ready when he needed to be. Lina kept things running smoothly and took care of issues that arose without worrying us about them. The most interesting part was watching our wedding video. I hadn't noticed the day of how much Lina was monitoring everything like a hawk, but could appreciate it on our video where we spotted her periodically tending to things we weren't even aware of. We definitely would recommend Lina to everyone! Five stars isn't really enough to describe her. We are so grateful to Lina for playing such a huge part in our big day!

Lina went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly the day of. In fact, I learned a couple of days after the wedding that there was some vendor drama. Lina and I had talked about my vision for all of the reception decorations and she made sure it came to life percectly. Throughout the ceremony and reception Lina was unbelievably helpful, doing everything from watching my dog (who was in the ceremony) to literally getting under my dress to readjust all the layers after I had gone to the bathroom! Lina is sweet and bubbly and made everyone comfortable; but have no doubt if any of the vendors or guests had been out of line she is tough and would make sure it got handled! I booked Lina along with her sister Lili (who is a makeup artist) and Lili was waiting for me several times throughout the day to retouch my makeup after being out in the rain or a lot of dancing (I didn’t even have to think about it!) I found out the day after the wedding that Lili even ran out to cvs to get double sided tape to help Lina readjust my mother in law’s dress. My wedding venue came with a very organized coordinator, and even still I am so happy I had Lina there as well! I would recommend her (and her sister!) to any couple getting married!

- I won't get into it, but Lina handled it so well. Her and her assistant worked hard to correct any mistakes they made. With Lina, the great service does not end as soon as the wedding is over. After our wedding, a houseguest broke one of our wedding kiddish cups, which was upsetting to me. I asked Lina where I could buy replacements, but she insisted on getting them and having them sent to us. That was the sweetest thing ever and totally unnecessary and out of her scope of work. While she was out of our budget for full wedding planning, Lina agreed to work with us for day-of coordination. Lina has one mode and that is ”Get it Done” mode. Even though we only had her for day-of services, she met with us multiple times to review our schedule. All the little details that you can’t remember, she does. She does not miss a beat. She is cool, calm, and level headed. She responded to all our emails, texts, phone calls, and made sure we had an air tight plan so our special day could go off without a hitch. She took time out of her weekend to attend a food tasting at our reception location and constantly buoyed our spirits by reminding us how great everything was going to be, and how we should enjoy this time, regardless of how stressful it can be. Lina immediately felt like a friend we’ve known for years and her attention to detail and ability to get the most out of all our vendors was second to none. Thank you, Lina!

I hired her for the package that is the last month through the wedding day.... but she was really there for anything I needed the whole way once I booked her. The thing you will find about planning a wedding... things will just happen that are out of control so really having someone just there for you and willing to help out where ever is more important than the actual "details" of the decorations and how things play out. But with that all said... you get it all with Lina. Lina is probably the most organized person that I have met. That is actually at first why we went with her. My husband and I are both TYPE A to the max so we just operate a certain way when it comes to work and events. Lina was not the lowest price and thank god we decided not to go with someone else that was cheaper. Lina had a great balance of reading us... I'm in sales so that is a hard thing to do. She would make sure we were on target and get us going when we let work take over our lives but also let us do what we needed and gave space when needed. The best thing is that she is really available at all times and will let you know if she is at a wedding but will get back to you and give you that time frame. That's important because do you want her planning someone else's wedding when she is supposed to be present at yours??? As for details.... omg she has it. We bought most of our decorations and frames and such and when it came to the week of the wedding she took inventory of what we had, viewed the location for a last time and asked if I would like to add X, Y , Z from her own collection. It was every bit of what I wanted and more! The biggest thing that I recommend everyone to get a wedding planner is... is the organization of the vendors. My sister got married a month before me and did not have a wedding planner or day of planner. I'm not sure if I even got to really celebrate with her. Having the bride and wedding party have to organize and be on top of the vendors really makes the experience more like a work event and not a celebration. And my sister as the bride got robbed of her time to enjoy every movement having to be in charge of everything. And trust me... something will go wrong. For her reception gifts, that she spent weeks on... didn't get put out! For me our venue double booked us and told us 4 months ahead of the date after the invitations were sent... so having someone available to help makes all the difference. Bottom line, Lina was not only amazing at her job, she helped with the things you don't think of like being present for my difficult family, being there for my friends, being a friend and I can tell you she becomes like family if you want/let her be. She is amazing. My husband and 210% recommend her.

This is a task that requires a specific kind of wedding planner. Lina is so hard working, she went above and beyond for us. Not only that but her styling is insane. She made our venue look BEAUTIFUL! She took care of most of the decor- we went over everything beforehand and on the day of she delivered and more! Our wedding was beautiful and it was all because of this amazing woman. The wedding was not only a destination wedding in Louisville, KY, but was also comprised of a traditional Hindu ceremony with a more contemporary "fusion" reception and Lina made sure no stone was left unturned with regard to each event. She also took the time to work with and communicate regularly with my parents, who were also heavily involved in the planning. We started the planning process 8 months prior to the wedding and Lina kept us in track by sending checklists and stopping by our apartment. At no point did I feel "behind" with any planning efforts. She helped us source the majority of our vendors, from our event rentals for decor and ceremony mandap to our florist to our photographer to our DJ -- all of whom had been thoroughly vetted against our preferences. Lastly, the day of was a massive success. The groom & I didn't have to handle anything beyond getting ready & dressed & married, every step of the ceremony and reception was well managed and timed without anyone being rushed, and my new husband and I even got to eat as soon as we were seated as we had a plate of appetizers ready for us -- a treat Lina coordinated with the kitchen staff at our venue. Everyone, including ourselves, had a great night and with Lina's help, it was truly the best day. We couldn't recommend anyone more and I will be passing on Lina's contact info to any of my friends planning a wedding in the near future.
