were promised a seamless and captivating video capturing every precious moment of our wedding that would include the ceremony itself and all speeches. We were told the footage would be obtained ed with quality equipment and would be professionally edited. However, what we received was far from what was promised. The quality of the footage was subpar, with shaky camera work and poor lighting throughout. On the day of the event the lighting consisted of flashlights that Jeff asked our guests to operate. He was climbing all over our guests at the wedding and the reception and somehow found himself in the shot for most of the photographer’s photos. Furthermore, the editing was atrocious. Instead of a cohesive narrative that told the story of the love and celebration, we were presented with a disjointed mess. Important moments were missed entirely. Communication with Jeff was also a nightmare. He made lots of promises but what he provided contained his artistic “vision” and not what was promised. He then made assurances over the following months that he was making edits consistent with our requests. After several promised delivery dates were not met, we demanded the finished product but no additional edits had been made. We were provided all footage taken that day but the essential parts of the ceremony like the exchange of vows had such poor camera coverage, there was no way he could provide the quality finished product that was promised. We were left feeling neglected and frustrated. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Jeff to anyone looking for a reliable and talented videographer for their special day. His lack of professionalism, poor quality of work, and disregard for client satisfaction make him a liability rather than an asset. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere for your videography needs.
