Nor Cal Catering

Marsail was awesome to work with! We postponed our October 2020 wedding to exactly a year later and Marsail was very easy to work with. Communication was always amazing! The food was delicious and the service at the wedding was phenomenal. I can’t thank Nor Cal Catering enough for making such delicious food, being easy to work with and helping make my husband’s and I’s special day even more special with such great food!

I cannot stress enough how much you should use Marcel as your caterer. He was the lowest maintenance of all our vendors. This is because he is so well organized and understands customer service. He had never performed an event at our venue and took time out of his own schedule to survey and plan his set up. This was all on his own initiative. If that wasn’t enough, the most important reason you should hire Marcel is his food. It was delicious! I may be biased as it was my wedding, but I have literally been to over 50 weddings and it’s the best food I have ever eaten at a wedding! To put it in better perspective, we had around 60 no shows and only enough left overs for about 30 people. So our guests liked it too! If you’re reading this, I would call Marcel as soon as you can!

We booked Marsail and his team at NorCal catering for our wedding in April 2018. I have nothing but good things to say! Its Summer 2020 and I still have people asking me about "that bbq from your wedding." Food - AMAZING. We went with the smoked tritip, smoked chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, and ceasar salad for our 140 guests. We ad our first of a handful of tastings with Marsail and EVERY ONE we compared back to his food. We had plenty of guests compliment on how yummy everything was and ask for leftovers! Communication - Marsail responded by text, phone, email - and he was super kind and patient through all of my questions as I planned the wedding. I never felt like I was annoying him and he would always say he wanted to do what we wanted for our day. He was punctual, his team was friendly, they came in, cleaned up and took care of everything for themselves. One nice woman even brought me a plate of mashed potatoes that I asked for since I was entertaining people and didn't get any! All around, I never had to worry about NorCal Catering. I felt 100% confident with them from booking to event. We will use them again!

Unsure how their food would be. I left 23 voice mail messages and 3 emails over a period of 5 days, and not once did I get a reply. Bad sign and makes me wonder the quality of their service.
