asked them if they had the particular styles I was looking for. By sheer luck, they had a Pronovias trunk show a couple weeks later so I made an appointment for my mom, my MIL, and I. Leanne, my bridal consultant, pulled the two dress styles I was interested in, and 3 additional styles just for comparison, and within an hour I had my dream dress picked out and purchased for my wedding! The service was excellent, and Leanne made what is normally one of the most stressful, time-consuming parts of wedding planning one of the funnest and easiest. I always loved Nordstrom’s before planning my wedding, but I am an even more loyal customer after having such a wonderful wedding dress shopping experience there.

Didn’t ask about my price point. It wasn’t until the 4th dress that she even asked a question about me or my fiancé. 3. She pulled two dresses before my visit, but offered no suggestions based on the dresses I pulled. It did not feel like she cared and knew really anything about the dresses. She constantly said, well this is new so I don’t know the price or brand or some other details. 4. I had to share a pedestal, which isn’t that big of a deal but really didn’t make me feel like I was special or important. The only real plus was there was no pressure on my to purchase anything. And I didn’t.

person I worked with and she was great. Always answering my questions and really going above and beyond. Only thing I would change is to be aware of alterations cost before committing. It was more than I anticipated and was caught a little off guard. But it all was worked out with great customer service Nordstroms is known for!

se they're a network of Nordstrom suites, they have a lot of flexibility to ship the dress you order to another store (e.g., if you're getting married elsewhere) and they can steam it for you. They also were able to track down a dress I wanted to try on at another suite and have it shipped in time for my appointment. There is a communal "mirror" area, but you have your own changing room and I didn't find the shared area distracting at all. Abby was incredibly friendly, listened to what I wanted and responded with great options, and definitely respected my budget. The only downside was that some of their samples were a bit beat up or dirty, so we just had to keep that in mind as we considered what a new version would look like. I ultimately ordered a dress elsewhere because Nordstrom didn't carry the designer I wanted, but I would really recommend putting this on your list if you're wedding dress shopping in Dallas.

mething that complimented it. They also let all 3 of us try on the dresses in different sizes so that we could ensure they would look pretty on everyone. I was unimpressed with the service. It was adequate and I know they're busy, but they were also stand-offish. Not the best service I've received, but not the worst. Overall, adequate experience. It's a great option for nice dresses available at stores across the country.

ere not on top of orders and almost sent a dress out of state 5 days before my wedding (luckily my bridesmaid stopped this from happening). The alterations are expensive and the alterations lady was rude, she seemed irritated we were there. The dresses ended up looking good, but this was only after painstaking efforts and micromanagement on my part. I should note that I ordered my bridesmaids' dresses from here, I did not use Nordstrom for my own wedding gown.

in less than a week and was much less expensive than some larger "cheaper" bridal salons. Overall the selection of jewelry, shoes and I even found a fur cape-let all for great prices and quality.

Sara stayed in touch and coordinated all the fittings - even though we are all located around the country - and checked in periodically to see if she could help with anything else. I highly recommend working with her, especially if the gown process seems intimidating. She is wonderful!
