Nordstrom Wedding Suite

Beautiful dresses as to be expected and great experience!

I went to some boutiques in Dallas but ended up finding my beautiful dress here. If you are a Nordstrom card holder order your dress with a triple points day so you can use the Nordstrom Notes for accessories or gifts! Sylvia was my main salesperson I worked with and she was great. Always answering my questions and really going above and beyond. Only thing I would change is to be aware of alterations cost before committing. It was more than I anticipated and was caught a little off guard. But it all was worked out with great customer service Nordstroms is known for!

Silvia at NorthPark's Wedding Suite is an ANGEL! We had the very best experience working with her and the alterations team. She went above and beyond to make sure that my mom, sister, and I were comfortable in our dresses and we could not be more thankful!

We visited the Nordstrom Wedding Suite twice to try on gowns, and will be back a third for a bridesmaid appointment. We have worked with Abby on all visits, who is great and couldn't be sweeter. They have a great selection of dresses and because they're a network of Nordstrom suites, they have a lot of flexibility to ship the dress you order to another store (e.g., if you're getting married elsewhere) and they can steam it for you. They also were able to track down a dress I wanted to try on at another suite and have it shipped in time for my appointment. There is a communal "mirror" area, but you have your own changing room and I didn't find the shared area distracting at all. Abby was incredibly friendly, listened to what I wanted and responded with great options, and definitely respected my budget. The only downside was that some of their samples were a bit beat up or dirty, so we just had to keep that in mind as we considered what a new version would look like. I ultimately ordered a dress elsewhere because Nordstrom didn't carry the designer I wanted, but I would really recommend putting this on your list if you're wedding dress shopping in Dallas.

We went here at the beginning of our dress shopping experience. The dresses were nice, but the selection was smaller than another shop. Sylvia was very helpful in learning about the fit and shapes, but there simply weren't enough that I was interested in!

I chose Nordstrom because it's also located in San Antonio and Washington, D.C., where my other bridesmaids live. I went one Saturday with my mom and sister and we found the dresses in half an hour. Granted, I already had my gown, so I found something that complimented it. They also let all 3 of us try on the dresses in different sizes so that we could ensure they would look pretty on everyone. I was unimpressed with the service. It was adequate and I know they're busy, but they were also stand-offish. Not the best service I've received, but not the worst. Overall, adequate experience. It's a great option for nice dresses available at stores across the country.

My big problem with the Nordstrom Bridal Suite is the abhorrent service. Two of my bridesmaids received repeated comments about their weight/size...this should NEVER happen in a women's clothing store, much less in the bridal department. They were not on top of orders and almost sent a dress out of state 5 days before my wedding (luckily my bridesmaid stopped this from happening). The alterations are expensive and the alterations lady was rude, she seemed irritated we were there. The dresses ended up looking good, but this was only after painstaking efforts and micromanagement on my part. I should note that I ordered my bridesmaids' dresses from here, I did not use Nordstrom for my own wedding gown.

I think everyone gets the impression that Nordstrom is too expensive for them, but I found a great deal on my wedding day jewelry AND rehearsal dinner jewelry. I was able to get a beautiful headband and earrings for less then $60! It was everything I needed for my wedding day. When I was done in the wedding suite, I headed down to the regular jewelry area and found a great necklace for rehearsal dinner for $50. What a steal!

Great place to find higher end looking accessories for great prices. I happened in while looking for a bachelorette dress and they were more than helpful even though I didn't have an appointment. I order my veil and it was shipped to my house in less than a week and was much less expensive than some larger "cheaper" bridal salons. Overall the selection of jewelry, shoes and I even found a fur cape-let all for great prices and quality.

Sara Noble at the Nordstrom Wedding Suite made finding my perfect dress a piece of cake! They have a lovely selection of gowns in a wide array of price points and styles, and a comfortable, no pressure setting that made it fun and relaxing for myself, my sister, and mother. In one stop we found my dream dress, my bridesmaid dresses, and my mom's dress! Sara stayed in touch and coordinated all the fittings - even though we are all located around the country - and checked in periodically to see if she could help with anything else. I highly recommend working with her, especially if the gown process seems intimidating. She is wonderful!
