Ralph and staff were great. I went in there with a photo of a cake I liked and said If you can do something like this please. He advised me of the correct size cake I would need for our guest count and said OK!! I was totally surprised to walk in and see our cake that day.It totally beat any expectations I had. Looked better than the photo!!! Also it was moist inside and tasted delicious!!!!! All our guests were raving about it !!! Definitely recommend!!!

Our experience with Normandie Bakery was amazing! Ralph made the whole process so simple and easy, and the tasting was so cute. Our wedding cake turned out beautifully, and tons of our guests said it was the best wedding cake they’ve ever had!

Our venu has a long time relationship with Normandie bakery and our wedding cake and cookies were excellent! It was easy to coordinate our tasting and have our design ideas incorporated into our cake!

Jacques Exclusive catering coordinated our cake with Normandie and it was PHENOMENAL!! After talking with Jacques, we set up a tasting with Normandie Bakery and they were nothing but helpful. We got to choose our cake, the fillings, and the design and it was perfect. We sent a picture over a few weeks prior to our big day and they did a wonderful job creating a similar look. We chose a naked cake, 2 tiers chocolate, and 1 tier vanilla with minimal decorations, fresh fruit, powdered sugar and some purple buttercream roses and Normandie did a spectacular job. The cake was beautiful but more importantly delicious. It wasn't dry (which was a worry since it had minimal frosting) and the flavors were spot on. A lot of our guests went up for 2nd and 3rd helpings. We're so excited that we have a cake topper waiting for our anniversary! We can't wait!! Actually... I don't know that we will wait... Next time, we're down in the Middletown/Long Branch area we'll be picking up a cake to share with friends!!

Normandie Barkery made our wedding cake and it was gorgeous. (Buona Sera Palazzo) Our wedding cake was out of this world, it was absolutely delicious !!! Ralph is an outstanding person and very funny , he was great to work with. I highly recommend Normandie Bakery , they are the best !!!

Ralph and Normandie Bakery were so good to us for our wedding! Ralph invited my husband and I (and my parents came too!) to a cake tasting at his bakery. Everything was delicious, so it was pretty difficult deciding on what we wanted. Meeting with Ralph was great—we got to show him photos of what we were after, review photos of his previous work, etc. Ralph had simple answers to all of our questions and made everything super easy. We later followed up via email a few times to confirm details. Our wedding cake was included in our wedding package through our venue, but Ralph was extra-accommodating and worked with me on added items/features for our wedding (a gluten free cake for guests during our Viennese hour and a surprise wedding anniversary cake for my parents) and assisted in making sure I was working within what was already budgeted for by our venue so we would not incur any unnecessary additional costs. Normandie Bakery also catered most of the Viennese hour desserts for our wedding reception, which our guests continue to rave about. Normandie Bakery truly went above and beyond for us and we will definitely be recommending their services to family and friends!

Normandie Bakery designed the most perfect wedding cake for our wedding! We had a rustic fall theme and between the leaves and the icing that looked like tree bark it was perfect!!! Not to mention it was probably the tastiest cake I've ever had!!!

Our wedding cake was beautifully designed and tasted delicious! My husband and I are not dessert people but the cake was really good. It was filled with a chocolate mousse and cannoli filling. I highly recommend.

We were a little nervous about our wedding cake because it came with the venue so we didnt have a choice of the baker. We didnt want our cake to taste like the store bought cakes that just taste SWEET! We met with Ralph a few weeks before the wedding for the tasting. There were plenty of flavors to choose from and Ralph was a big help in offering his advise. When it came to our design, he was flexible and so easy to work with - anything we wanted. The final product was beautiful and more importantly - delicious! Everyone loved it and the design truly pulled the entire reception theme together. The only downside was the hurricane hit just after our wedding so we had to eat the rest of the cake quickly before it went bad!!!

I used Normandie Bakery for my wedding cake and it was delicious! They had so many flavors to choose from and the owner made everything easy!

For my July 2012 wedding, our catering hall informed us that the Normandie bakery was their baker of choice and they showed us the selection of cakes that came with our wedding package. We chose a design that we liked and I called the bakery to schedule a taste-test in order to confirm the flavor. I had to call 4 times before I was able to speak to the manager/owner. The staff who answered the phone were useless. The first few times I phoned inquiring about a tasting, they told me they were too busy to speak to me and that I should call back. By the third time, I got a bit snippy and they said the owner would call me back, which he did not. The fourth time I called, i was again told they were busy and that the owner would call me back. he finally did call me back and informed me that they only do tastings on weekends and that they were booked for weeks. No one i had spoken to previously was kind enough to inform me of this. So we chose a flavor without ever tasting it. However, the day of the wedding, although the flavor of the cake was correct, the design was wrong. it wasn't my cake. All in all I would probably never use that catering hall again, and i will DEFINITELY never use this bakery for ANYTHING.

I got a amazing cake that was delicious. I was unable to meet with them to taste my cake because of my schedule, but they were so helpful over the phone and did not get frustrated with my questions. They made very good recommendations and I couldnt have been happier. My guests also agreed that the cake was one of the best cakes they had.

this is the bakery our caterer's chose, and we couldn't not have been happier. Cake was delicious. my husband and i went for a tasting and ralph was great to work with. Now we can't wait for our one year anniversay to hav more of it!

My wedding cake was included in the package we had with the Lakeside Manor, but I will tell you this, this was the absolute BEST wedding cake I have ever tasted!!!! It was 3 tier with butter cream icing, each tier had 2 layers of yellow cake, 1 layer of chocolate, chocolate fudge and cannoli filling....DELICIOUS!!!!

The cake was exactly how we planned it and it was absolutely deliscious . We had so many people calling after the wedding to ask who the baker was even our caterer wanted to know.
