My husband and I were really excited to go with a local vendor who had provided band uniforms to my husband's high school for years. We also felt they would be perfect because they carry practically everything on site. When my husband, myself, and our best man went to put down the deposit we were helped by a young lady who clearly hated her job and everything that had to do with it. She rolled her eyes the entire visit and spoke in an annoyed tone. We chalked this up to it being later in the day and prom season and figured she was just having a bad day. Several members of our wedding party visited the store when this young lady was working and she became known as "the girl who hates her life". When we had issues with some of the suits (shirts and pants being too big of small and jackets not buttoning correctly) she would begrudgingly get a different size or went as far as telling one of my groomsmen "that's the shirt we gave you and if it doesn't fit tough". When I called to voice my concerns about the poor customer service matter this particular young lady answered the phone and said a manager would not be available until Monday. I left my number and was not surprised that I did not receive a call. When I called and spoke to a manager I was told that this girl was their best employee and I'm entitled to my opinion but I must be wrong. When I asked the manager if I could speak with the owner he told me I could but he was related to him. I'm still not sure why this fact should matter? The owner did apologize for the fact that I felt I received poor customer service and said he was surprised that I felt this way about this particular employee. He told me he would pull the invoices and discuss this with her. I was very unhappy with the service we received and when I mentioned I would be writing a negative review I was told by the owner that they have been in business for over 60 years. I guess after 60 years customer service does not matter to this business anymore.
