North Arrow Creative

as we arrived. They created a fun, supportive atmosphere that helped us forget we were in front of a camera and just enjoy the experience together. They have a great sense of humor and were skilled at posing us. They had a cool studio setup with rich colors and textures that fit the vibe of the photos we were looking for when we chose them as photographers. They truly captured the exciting time in our lives leading up to our wedding. They accommodated a few outfit changes and were prepared with an iron and steamer. We even got some photos in formalwear that they turned around quickly we were able to display at our wedding reception. This photo session was the perfect thing to do after a hair and makeup trial, and we went out to dinner together to round out a fun date night. Besides the photos, now we also have great memories from the session itself. It’s been a few years and I still think about some of their posing tips/phrases. We would highly recommend North Arrow to any couple looking for a unique shared experience before their wedding.

d my wedding (mix of western and Indian ceremonies), and they've done family photos for us. Kyle and Rachel (among the others who collaborate with them) are super kind and easy to get along with. They put out great work. They're accepting of all folks, which in my family is a wide range painting all walks of life and viewpoints. They do a great job of both nailing posed photos and candid shots, the latter of which we really appreciate it as it helps preserve the memory of the event. Many of our friends are jealous of our photographer choice compared to theirs! They also do videography and have created some beautiful highlights for us as well as captured key moments of our wedding! We really appreciate the work they do and definitely will continue using them as time goes on!

ply work with them, we had to be friends too. Their connection to one another and to their work is what I think helps North Arrow stand above the rest. Not only are they an incredible partnership, but those they have trusted to collaborate on their team are some of the most enjoyable and educated individuals we have worked with. We relied on Rachel and Kyle for their recommendations for countless vendors and none of which left us disappointed. It seems everyone doesn’t just know this team, they’re friends too; and after our time together, Drew and I can understand why. We will never be able to put into words what our experience with North Arrow has meant to us both, but we hope that this message brings comfort to those considering this team - you are in fact making a great choice.

ur engagement session and our wedding. It was clear right away that photography is their passion. They are incredibly personable, easy to talk to, and made the decision to choose them an absolute no-brainer! On the wedding day itself, Kyle and his assistant were phenomenal and quite literally saved the day when our DJ didn’t have our timeline. Without missing a beat, they stepped in and helped keep everything running smoothly. It was impressive with their attention to detail! They remembered every single member of our wedding party by name and gave clear, confident, and fun direction during photos, which made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. Our smiles were genuine and far from forced. Kyle has a way to make everything so fun and cheerful. And the photos, gosh, absolutely stunning!!! They are beautiful, moody, emotional, and exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. We originally hadn’t planned on any package upgrades, but once we saw the gallery, there was absolutely no way we could narrow it down. We just had to upgraded our package to the entire album because every single photo was that good. The turnaround for our finalized album was so fast, for both the engagement and wedding day photos. If you’re looking for photographers who are insanely talented we highly highly recommend North Arrow Creative. We are beyond grateful to have had them capture our day. 💕✨

and guide through poses. She's a very encouraging and genuine photographer, the final images exceeded my expectations with a polished and elevated authentic feel. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who can combine technical skills with an amazing confidence-boosting experience. Thank you, Rachel!

THING. But having these perfectly captured moments to look back on brought the experience into full color. They so seamlessly integrated into my motley crew of friends & family, that it looks like we were all professional photographers, taking the pictures ourselves. Every time I look at one of these photos, I'll be infinitely grateful to them for giving me this once in a lifetime event to hold forever. Highly recommend if you want to remember the best version of literally any event.

at they do and pour their hearts into it. Not only is their work breathtaking, but they are super star humans too! They are so easy to get along with and made our engagement shoot and wedding day all the more fun! Communication and organization is also 5 stars, I just adore them and all they do.  We will definitely be repeat customers when ready for maternity/family photos throughout the coming years! Do yourself a favor and book North Arrow Creative! You will fall in love with your photos and meet some great folks as an added plus :)

e have the most beautiful memories to share now with friends and family.

elt like friends sharing our special day with us, and made sure my head stayed on straight and kept all the ducks in a row! They were the anchor in the storm of both wedding planning and for the day of, with brilliant ideas for pictures, being flexible with any changes on the fly and just flat out being awesome and a joy to work with! Also, their pictures are AMAZING! Everyone has raved about them and all we got was the teasers so far, which I might add that we got them only 5 days after the wedding!!! Don't even hesitate, book them for any and all events because you will NOT be disappointed!

relax during our engagement photos and wedding photos. We loved our entire gallery and their overall style. We are so glad they captured our day so beautifully so we have so many photos to look back on and remember.

ement shoots they went above and beyond to capture some of our most memorable moments on camera. We couldn't be happier with their work.

uld recommend this to anyone looking for an experience to make you feel badass and beautiful!

ur engagement shoot to the big day, Rachel and Kyle made us feel completely at ease, even when we were nervous in front of the camera. Somehow, they managed to turn every candid smile, every glance, every quiet moment into a work of art. What really sets North Arrow apart is the way Rachel and Kyle go above and beyond because they genuinely care. They scouted the perfect locations, worked seamlessly with our vendors, and kept everything feeling calm and romantic, even in the most hectic moments. It never felt like a photoshoot, it felt like we were spending time with friends who happened to be capturing every beautiful second. Looking back through our photos, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. If you’re looking for wedding and engagement photographers who are not only incredibly talented but also truly invested in making your day magical, look no further. Thank you North Arrow for the beautiful memories.

ng a few years ago. I remembered loving them and their photos from the start, and it couldn’t have been a better decision. From the beginning, Rachel and Kyle went out of their way to make me and my now-husband feel comfortable, and we hit it off with them immediately. They are warm, lovely, and fun people who put us at ease during our engagement session, which was especially important since neither of us feels very comfortable being photographed. On our wedding day, they were absolute professionals who stayed on top of everything while being warm and personable—immediately winning over our families and keeping me calm the whole day. They struck the perfect balance between guiding us when needed and disappearing into the background. There are countless photos from the day where I have no recollection of seeing them, yet they were everywhere capturing beautiful moments. The photos themselves are stunning—I've never seen such beautiful wedding photography. Everyone looks like the most joyful and beautiful version of themselves, and Rachel and Kyle perfectly captured the love, joy, and fun of our day. We particularly love the pictures from our ring-warming ceremony, where we passed the rings around and they captured some really beautiful, intimate moments. THey sent us a preview of 800 photos just two days after the wedding (while also flying home, as we got married in Atlanta), which we were shocked by, and sent us over 1,000 more for the full album. We couldn’t believe how many incredible photos they had taken. Rachel and Kyle were exceptionally easy to work with and generous with their time and talent. Months later, we still receive compliments from friends and family about how beautiful our wedding photos are and how great our photographers were. I can't recommend Rachel and Kyle enough—they are just the best of the best.

ed me craft my day of timeline and made sure our “must have” images were beautifully captured. If anything was behind schedule North Arrow was able to pivot and still capture everything we wanted. Your wedding day is just one day but your photos last forever- you want North Arrow to capture them.

hallenge to find photographers that I was truly excited about and trusted, but the North Arrow team exceeded all of my expectations! At the engagement shoot, Rachel & Kyle were light hearted and super fun to hang out with. It was a fantastic choice to book the engagement shoot and get to know them and their shooting style ahead of time! The photos turned out SO beautiful and they truly managed to capture the essence of our love and joy for each other. During the wedding the team brought a shot list we'd previously discussed but were open to changes and on-the-fly requests and ideas. They were also incredibly kind and flexible as our schedule changed throughout the day. During the shoots we genuinely felt seen and heard - they were very attentive and really made sure to capture the shots we were hoping for. The team was also fantastic at giving directions and setting up our group shots despite having a sizeable bridal party! During the reception they magically showed up at every significant moment, no matter how small, and yet were never in the way. We are so grateful that we found them and can't wait to hire them again in the future!!

I felt very comfortable. The images are stunning! Rachel is so talented and I would absolutely recommend her!

tural photos. We could not be happier with our photos. Rachel is also incredibly talented with bridal boudoir. Not only did she make me feel beautiful and comfortable the whole time, she made it fun. I was very happy with the results! All of the photos taken by Rachel made me feel confident and beautiful in my own skin. She is truly so incredible to work with, and the quality and quantity of photos received was amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting high quality photos and an overall high quality experience!

are fantastic photographers whose top priority during shoots was ensuring everyone was having fun and feeling confident. Their experience as professionals in this industry show in every facet of their work. Communication was great, response times were quick, and the photos are phenomenal. The couple of add-ons we selected on top of our base package were also completely worth it. We are thrilled Rachel + Kyle helped us capture memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime and more <3

the BEST humans; kind, professional, accommodating, efficient (we got through family pictures SO quickly, my mind was blown!), and most of all, FUN! As someone who's been in many weddings, taking pictures can be miserable. Anytime we're with K & R, the time flies, and we have an absolute blast. Our guests and bridal party also raved about how great they were to work with! Their photos are incredible. We did engagement photos as well as wedding photos with them. I typically don't like taking photos because of my weight, but the photos K&R take always leave me feeling confident and beautiful. They use very creative & gorgeous locations, and really go above & beyond to get the shot! Their communication and organization are top tier. We got our teasers in record timing. All of our guests were blown away and jealous that they didn't experience the same with their photographers! I'm SO glad we stumbled upon North Arrow Creative, and I can't recommend them highly enough!! We will be using them for all of our photography needs in the future!

our engagement and wedding photos for us and have always been open and accommodating to anything we requested. The quality, time, and attention to detail they provided allowed us to get memories we will cherish forever.

gement photos, they offered a free photoshoot so we would be comfortable with their shooting and communication styles the day of. We took it as an opportunity to show ourselves in clothing and environments that were more casual and reflective of our personalities than our original photos covered. They were fantastic, and some of our favorite photos to date. During that shoot, we connected with Kyle and Rachel as friends, with all of us almost forgetting the reason we were at the bar in the first place. We couldn't have asked more for our day of photos. They listened to everything we wanted, and their additional team members were professional and courteous. We could go on all day, but the photos speak for themselves. Even after the wedding, their continued communication in making sure we knew when our photos, videos, album, etc. would be coming in was impressive. They are dedicated to every client and stick with you through the whole process. We opted in for the seven minute video - it was the perfect length and encapsulated all of the highlights from our big day. These guys are truly the best, and we would recommend them to anyone!!

the camera, allowed us to have our engagement and wedding captured in a way that fully displayed our personalities and our love. I cannot recommend them enough!

Rachel and Kyle of NAC and from the beginning of our process in early ‘23 until our recent wedding of March ‘24, they have demonstrated tremendous attention to detail, professionalism, and care of their craft. We were attracted to the aesthetic of the photos and were able to meet via Facetime with Kyle and Rachel numerous times before booking. In these conversations, they made my wife and I feel at ease and went over the process in detail and answered our many questions. In addition to the professional and technical aspects of photographing an engagement and wedding, the pair took extra time to get to know us personally and learn not only our dynamics as a couple but that of our friends and family who would be participating in the wedding shoots. We did not hesitate to move forward with their services. Prior to our engagement shoot, NAC was in contact with us to plan out locations based on our clothing, personal preferences, and gave some great recommendations of their own. The shoot itself was carefree and fun and it became readily apparent that their eye for lighting, angles, and poses was extremely talented, with both Rachel and Kyle jumping in to suggest ideas and each bringing their own flair to their cameras. We were gladly surprised when we received our photo samples and finally the entire of folder of images from our afternoon. Suddenly, all of the beautiful photos samples that we reviewed when choosing photographers now included us! We were blown away by the quality and the true encapsulation of our relationship. Again, we were reminded that we made the correct choice booking with NAC. On the big day, what stood out to my wife and I the most was how truly invested Rachel and Kyle were to the flow and success of our wedding. Based on our engagement shots, we were comfortable knowing that the photos would turn out stunning, but on numerous occasions throughout the day, the two went above and beyond to participate and make our lives easier, allowing us to focus all of our attention on each other. I remember fondly as Kyle ran across the parking lot at Silver Oaks with our golden retriever dog in tow and a hairbrush for the next round of photos while Rachel efficiently helped organize family and friends for their turns in front of the camera. It cannot be stated to the extent of which these two helped ensure the ease of our special day. Similarly to our engagement package, when we received our sampler from the wedding day, we were overwhelmed with the talent and consideration as we relived that day in photos. It is not an understatement to say that we looked at the previews over and over in the following days and were overjoyed each time. Please consider booking North Arrow Creative for the special events in your life. You will take comfort in knowing that your moments will be handled by true professionals who will be deeply invested in all the small details. The photos and memories will speak for themselves. Hannah and Zach Whitcomb

ofessional, great at making you feel comfortable, and gives great direction without stifling your own creativity. Upon seeing the photos I couldn’t believe that was me! Her eye is so creative and I’m not sure I’ve ever felt more beautiful. If you’re hesitant about booking a boudoir session, don’t be, you’re in great hands. 10/10 would recommend, and let’s be serious I’ll definitely be back too.

ferences, and delivered stunning photos and videos that exceeded our expectations. Their team was amazing on the day of the wedding. They arrived early, set up their equipment, and blended in seamlessly with our guests. They were respectful, courteous, and fun to work with. They captured every moment of our ceremony and reception, from the emotional vows to the hilarious speeches to the lively dance floor. They also took us to some beautiful locations for our portraits, and gave us helpful directions and suggestions. The final products were delivered earlier than expected and in high quality. We were blown away by the photos and videos that they created. They captured the essence of our wedding day, the emotions, the details, the atmosphere, everything. They also edited the photos and videos beautifully, with natural colors, smooth transitions, and fitting music. We love how they organized the photos and videos in an online gallery, making it easy for us to access and share them. We are so grateful to North Arrow for their amazing work. They gave us memories that we will cherish forever. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer/videographer. They are the best!

oses and guiding me throughout our session and I did not feel uncomfortable or uneasy even for a second. Needless to say the outcome of that shoot was beyond amazing and I am in love with all the perfect portraits in the album. The retouching and editing she does on all her portraits is exceptional. Not just that, I have known Rachel and Kyle for a few years now and have seen them first hand doing amazing photography on the venue. They captured my sister’s entire wedding right from their engagement celebration to their pre wedding and till the reception night. We absolutely love north arrow creative and we would recommend it to all our friends and family for all their future celebrations and occasions. Rachel, you are amazing inside and out 🩷

ibes and energy. We certainly recommend anyone to use their services and you won’t regret.

l comfortable getting them!

tured the essence of our day, blending candid and posed shots against the stunning backdrop of St. Louis. Their friendly approach made us feel comfortable, resulting in natural and joyful photographs. The final album was exceptional, with each image beautifully edited. We've received numerous compliments and are thrilled with the memories they captured. We highly recommend North Arrow for their skill, passion, and ability to make a wedding day unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to Rachel and Kyle for their outstanding work!

process. By the end I felt like a total baddie, which amazed me after having a baby just 5 months ago. Ray has really helped me love my body after all the changes it has gone through and I'm so thankful!

ppy with my images and honestly, I still have a hard time believing that they are me! Rachel’s tips and posing guidance will leave you looking like a model 😊

g out of the park, but I was still just absolutely blown away once the photos came back! First of all, we got our preview gallery back much faster than I was expecting, and my husband and I were both so in love with the pictures! Honestly, if those preview photos were all we got, we still would have been over the moon. They were stunning, and captured the feel of our day perfectly. When we got the rest of the pictures back, I felt like I was once again reliving the high of that day, they transported me right back there, and were so, so beautiful (and funny! some of our guests' candids were hilarious, which we loved!). There was a great mix of posed and candid photos, and both Kyle and Rachel are great at directing you for poses and just generally making you feel at ease. No posing knowledge required! They were great to work with through the whole process leading up to our wedding - they carefully listened to what both me and my partner wanted out of our big day, what moments were important that they capture. They provided us with a very detailed schedule for the day of the wedding as well, which we and all our vendors appreciated. They were endlessly patient the day of our wedding when, of course, family & friends started demanding group photos of them that weren't in our plan (and Kyle & Rachel only proceeded with the additional photos as long as it was okay with us as well, which we appreciated). I can't wait to order an album of our wedding pictures now - I had actually ordered an album of our engagement photos from them a few weeks before our wedding in the hopes that I could use it as a guest book. Kyle & Rachel, being the amazing people they are, took that small turn around window and made it happen - editing dozens of photos and arranging them into a beautiful guest book/album for us. They even got it all done with a couple revisions I had requested. The book arrived on time, and it was absolutely stunning - very high quality, and will be a keepsake we treasure for a long time. I can't wait to order something similar for our wedding photos - the only hard part will be choosing a mere 30-ish photos from the hundreds of amazing photos they gave us. I really couldn't be more happy with North Arrow Creative's work, you can't go wrong with these amazing people!

shoot our big day they asked us numerous questions that prompted us to think about details we had not yet considered. As an interfaith couple, we had many Jewish components within our wedding ceremony. They were knowledgeable about the different traditions and already had ideas for how they could best capture those special moments (see Ketubah and breaking the glass photos!). We had an engagement session prior to our Wedding day and during that session Kyle and Rachel helped my husband and I become more comfortable in front of the camera (we are both quite awkward!) and gave us feedback on poses. Due to all they did in the engagement session, our photo taking on the day-of went so smoothly! Rachel and Kyle were also immensely flexible and quick on their feet. It was quite busy in Forest Park that day, but they quickly thought of several spots we could go that would be less busy and where we could take our pictures. They also are COMMITTED to their vision and will do whatever they need to, including standing on questionably secure objects and laying on the ground, to get the picture!! And don’t even get me started on their final products… we are in AWE every time we look through our photo album. They captured so many beautiful moments, both formal moments and the inbetween silly moments. They truly captured the beauty and magic of our special day and we could not be more grateful. Thank you, thank you Rachel and Kyle for sharing your talent!

ure. The images she produced were appealing and high quality. Everyone who has seen the photos from our session was impressed including me. Would definitely recommend her to everyone!!

f naked! They made me feel so comfortable and confident. If you are new to being in front of the camera, don’t worry, they’ll guide you and hype you up when you start to get the rhythm of things. I recommend them to everyone I know, because what can’t they do?? Truly happy to have worked with them and I would do it again, anytime any day. If you’re looking for a photographer for almost anything, look no further.

mfortable in front of the camera, even though that is not normal for us! They were also very flexible when our plans had to change on the big day! I am so grateful that they captured such beautiful pictures that my husband and I will cherish for the rest of our lives.

he time we met them at our consultation to our wedding day, they exuded the knowledge and creativity to achieve our dreams. Beyond that, the photos they captured at our engagement session and on our wedding day were absolutely stunning- we’ve gotten endless compliments from family and friends! I cannot recommend them enough!

We are not models and felt strange posing. Rachel and Kyle were so helpful with tips and tricks on how we could look our best. We also appreciate how dedicated they were to getting great shots on one of the coldest days of the year! Their photos are nothing short of gorgeous and are reasonably priced! We highly recommend them!

ting them! In addition to just being really cool humans to hangout with your entire wedding day, we got our photos back and they are STUNNING. I have always been incredibly uncomfortable in front of a camera and they made it feel so fun and easy! Their communication has been very prompt since day one and they did an amazing job of helping us keep our wedding running smoothly and on time. I will recommend them every time!

y, music playing, and things set up when I arrived (what a cool space btw), then we laughed and enjoyed ourselves from then on! Rachel was great with giving direction on how to move/pose during the session, and I loved the positive encouragement and support. The following day was my birthday and she sent over some killer teaser photos (I mean come on)!! I LOVE all the photos, you can definitely see the artistic eye and incredible attention to detail in the work. It was so challenging to narrow them down and I can’t wait to see the final book! I’m so glad I found North Arrow Creative and can’t wait to work with them again in the future!

pictures to the last dancing pictures from the wedding. Not only are they both so talented, but they are also amazing people and that comes out in every picture. They made us feel so comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire process and I could not recommend them more. I am beyond thrilled to be able to look back at all of the pictures for years to come!

on, boudior session and the wedding went so smoothly and they really make sure everything fits our vision! We love them and will work with them again.
