I was already a customer of North Idaho Tallow and ordered our wedding favors before they were listed on The Knot. They recently reached out and asked if I’d be willing to leave a review here, and I was more than happy to! I knew I wanted to use them because I wanted something thoughtful and high quality for our guests that they would actually use.
We chose two soap scents along with lip balms, and everything turned out beautifully. I especially loved how they looked displayed on our welcome table! The packaging was beautiful, the quality was amazing, and we got so many compliments from our guests.
I’m so glad we chose something useful and special instead of a favor that would just get left behind. They were such a sweet little part of our wedding day!

We ordered an assortment of their soaps and lip balms for our guests and they were such a hit. The soaps were beautiful and really high quality, and we got so many compliments on them. Guests had fun picking out different scents and even trading and mixing and matching with each other.
Customer service was also amazing and everything turned out exactly how I hoped. I’d absolutely recommend them if you’re looking for a wedding favor that’s a little different and that people will actually enjoy and use!

Before starting this business, I spent years in accounting. It may seem like an unusual path into handmade skincare, but it shaped how I run the business today: everything is carefully measured, tested, and made with safety and quality in mind.
I follow one simple rule: I don’t sell anything I wouldn’t use on my own family.
I started making tallow soap because I wanted simple, wholesome ingredients for my own skin. That eventually grew into a full line of handmade products — including wedding favors, which have become one of my favorite things to make.
I love being a small part of someone’s wedding day, creating something personal that guests will actually use and enjoy.
