Each favor starts with a bar of handcrafted grass-fed tallow soap, tied with rustic jute twine to a reusable sisal exfoliating pouch. Soap plus lip balm goes into a sleek black mesh favor bag, finished with a personalized thermal label featuring your monogram (initials) and wedding date.
Choose 2–3 of our seven signature scents per order. Wedding favor packages start at $72 for Bridal Party gifts (6–12 favors) and scale up through Petite, Small, Medium, Large, and Grand Wedding tiers to $1,800+ for 150+ guests — priced simply at $12 per favor, with a lip balm upgrade available on any tier. Hi, I'm Melissa — owner and maker behind North Idaho Tallow Co.
Before this, I spent years in accounting, which sounds like an odd runway into handmade skincare, but it's honestly why this business runs the way it does. Everything I formulate is measured and tested safe down to the fractional gram — safety isn't an afterthought here, it's the discipline the whole process is built on. Real ingredients, nothing cut for margin, and hundreds of reviews that reflect that level of care.
Here's my rule: I don't sell anything I wouldn't use on my own kids or family. That's the standard this whole business runs on, wedding favors included.
I started making tallow soap because I wanted something for my own skin that wasn't full of fillers, and it grew into a full line — including these wedding favors, which have become one of my favorite things to make. There's something I love about being a small, careful part of someone's wedding day: a soap bar someone's grandmother will actually use, not toss in a junk drawer.
