I wouls highly recommend booking north island for photo and video. The process beforehand was so easy. Communication was great. The day of the photographers and video went above and beyond with not only taking photography but just overall so helpful. They made every shot I requested happen. We got our gallery back super quick as well!

I was lucky enough to have North Island capture all the moments of my wedding day this December and it was the best decision my husband and I made!!! We had the privilege of working with Courtney and Karen and words can't even describe how beautiful our wedding pictures turned out --- obsessed is an understatement!! The talent this team holds is nothing short of absolutely amazing. The owner Deb and her team not only listen, pay attention to detail, and go above and beyond for the shot, but they make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. They also formulate a timeline that makes your pictures run seamlessly throughout the day. I have never dealt with a photography team so organized, yet flexible and accompanied with the most amazing energy -- they truly brought smiles to everyones faces all across the board. I can confidently say not one picture or moment was missed. Every photo request I had was completed without hesitation and my vision was expanded upon and then some! My guests raved about Courtney and Karen saying "I've never been at a wedding where the photographers are so pleasant and want to take photos of truly everything and everyone." North Island truly exceeded all my expectations in every which way. We recieved our full edited gallery within 4 weeks after our wedding and that was with the holidays being in the middle of it! A 5 star rating isn't enough for this photography team!

From the moment I found north island photography online I knew I wanted to use them for my wedding. From the beginning communication working with deb to book them was effortless. We ended up working with Courtney as our photographer on our actual wedding day and she was amazing! From the moment she showed up she was professional and fun to work with! She came in and asked for my dress and the next thing I knew my dress was hanging from the trees outside to capture insane photos! I was shocked! They made sure everyone was comfortable and that it was a stress free environment that was laid back, relaxing and most importantly fun!! She was amazing when it came to taking photos with my huge family and everyone was so impressed with how smoothly everything went. It was also great to be shown photos as we went along to make sure I was happy with how they were coming out! I cannot recommend them enough. Obsessed with our pictures from North Island! Their artistic vision is incredible and we are blown away with the pictures we’ve received so far. Both the lead photographer Michael and our second photographer Carol have a laid back presence that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable while posing. We already had over 100 edited pictures the day after our wedding which was so special to look through. I highly recommend using North Island Photography to capture all of life’s special moments!

I do not even know where to begin with this review! North Island Photography and Films was absolutely outstanding on our wedding day. We had Michael and Karen as our photographers and Kursad as our cinematographer, and let me just say that they all 3 went above and beyond to get the best shots! After waiting 2.5 years due to covid and going back and forth about a photographer/cinematographer, I don’t think we could’ve made a better choice. We got married July 2, 2022 and it was so hot and humid out, but this did not stop them from capturing the best day of our lives! I would also like to add that Deb helped us set this all up behind the scenes, she is such a lovely person to work with and knew all the ins and outs of how to perfectly plan our day when it came to timing. She took every detail into account and I cannot thank this team enough! Not to mention our digitals were ready about a week after our wedding day!

North Island Photography is the ONLY vendor you should be looking to book with! Deb and Michael are incredible! The very first thing that drew us to them was the fact that they are a husband and wife team! The pandemic was in full force when my now husband and I got engaged and it was extremely hard to meet with vendors in person and get to see their work first hand. So we basically went solely on a recommendation from a family friend who had Deb and Michael as their photographers for their wedding in 2015. We were completely blown away with the quality of the shots and how beautifully they captured each one of their special moments. We booked for our engagement shoot in May of 2021, not only was Deb an absolute sweetheart, she assured me every step of the way that even though the world was a crazy time, we would be in great hands and everything would work out. Our pictures were STUNNING! Our guests were in love with our Save The Dates and how they were able to capture us at our best moments. We couldn't wait to see how amazing the wedding photos would be. They lived up to our expectations and more! Michael, Carol, and CeCe worked photography and film on our wedding day. They were such a pleasure to work with, Extremely professional and even said you tell us if you want to go in a different direction then what we envision for you guys. We really appreciated that they made the day feel special and truly ours. You can tell how passionate they are for their love of working with couples. They are absolutely wonderful to work with and they provided the sample proofs so quickly! As I was scrolling through them, I felt like I was right back to reliving our wedding day. I guess the next chapter for us to be able to work with them again would be when it's baby time! Thank you Deb and Michael for EVERYTHING! There are not enough words to describe how kind Deb was during planning. Carol and Karen were a great team during the day and did not miss a single shot. They were incredible!

Michael and Carol were our photographers, they absolutely killed it as a team! Our wedding was very early for a night wedding being on a Thursday so we were limited in time from start of getting ready through photos into rehearsal but as soon as they got there it was showtime and they moved fast, capturing every location and kind of photo I requested. They sent me a sneak peak within 5 days. I am so happy with their work and cannot wait to see the final album.

North Island Photography was absolutely amazing! Being 20 weeks pregnant and not feeling totally comfortable with the changes in my body, I was very worried about how the pictures would come out. When we received the samples we were completely blown away. Our wedding pictures came out incredible- every single one! Deb is a dream to work with- so sweet, kind, and helpful. She designed our Thank You Cards and they are breathtaking! Michael was the best on the day of the wedding! His energy was fun and uplifting, never rushing us or making us feel pressured in anyway. The guys in our bridal party rave about Michael saying he was the “chillest” “coolest” photographer they ever worked with in a wedding. They LOVED him. Carol was incredible too! She had great vision for poses and different photo opportunities. Her and Walter- the videographer , worked seamlessly during our reception. You didn’t even know they were there. They let people enjoy themselves without having a camera in their face the whole time and captured every moment. Carol and Walter were there to capture our surprise gender reveal to our wedding guests. Carols pictures were awesome. Can’t wait to see the video! Overall, our experience with North Island was more than we could ever imagine for our wedding. We highly recommend them and can’t wait to use them for future events! Love you guys! 💗

From the moment we met Michael and Deb we knew we wanted to work with them. They were both so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home in their beautiful studio. The day of the wedding Michael and his team were incredible. Their talent is beyond compare. Our photos are spectacular. They were so kind and patient and went above and beyond to get the most amazing shots and video. Truly breathtaking. On a day that goes so fast we are so happy that we have every amazing moment captured in the most beautiful way.

I thought Mike and Deb were nice enough people, always making us feel special and welcome. We just weren't happy with the engagement and wedding photos they took for us. We expressed this with them, but the day had passed and there wasn't much else we could do except accept them as our wedding photos. It tough to leave a review that isn't perfect, but there are so many photographers on Long Island, I'd just make sure you shop around and look at samples. Make sure the photographer/s KNOW and follow through on what you request. This didn't happy with us. Lesson learned.

I went through every single photographer I could find until I came across North Island Photography. Their pictures blew me away and after meeting with them in person I knew we had to have them. We were lucky enough to have Stephanie and Nydia for our wedding day who are both incredibly kindhearted and beyond talented. Leading up to the big day I would manically send Stephanie e-mails with inspiration and she always responded quickly, taking notes along the way. I was blown away by her attention to dedication to make my dream photo's come true. I truly feel they captured our couple style and created these photogenic moments unique to us and our day. I was really impressed that they came prepared with the photo's I had been sending to her to make sure we captured every moment and more. When we received our stunning sneak peek photos, not even a week later, I was just blown away, I could have never pictured everything to look so perfect. I really appreciated the time they took to capture the details of my accessories, decor and the little things as a bride you don't have the time to really take in. You can never plan for how quickly a wedding day really flies by and having these beautiful pictures to look back at forever is exactly why I needed to have North Island on our very special day. I truly do not even know where to begin. North Island is, hands down, the absolute best in the business. The photos we have received already are beyond anything I ever imagined. My husband and I are forever grateful for the love and laughter that Michael and Caterina captured on our day. Michael took care of my getting ready photography at my home and made me feel so comfortable. He let me know he’d direct me if I wanted or if I had ideas in mind he would love to shoot those as well. If you want a different type of photographer North Island is the place to go. Their work is so unique, truly stands out from the rest. Worth every penny. We had Nydia & Carol as our photographers for both our engagement shoot & Wedding day. They were such a pleasure to work with, they weren't pushy at all. We told them we wanted to attend our cocktail hour and they made sure we did. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are truly the best!!! :)

Back on October 27, 2017, my wife and I were married in Great Neck Long Island. There was no doubt we were going to use North Island Photography to capture our day, especially after our beautiful engagement shoot done with a close friend of ours Stephanie Scapellati who is an essential part of their team. Even though Stephanie would be a guest at our wedding, we were confident in the remaining crew at North Island to not only do our photography but our videography as well. As we were two brides getting ready at the same hotel the morning of the wedding (along with our bridal parties), North Island made sure we each received equal attention for both our photo and video opportunities. We each had one photographer and one videographer with us the entire time. I was blessed to have had Nydia and Rich (as well as Stephanie directing some early shooting) by my side and my wife was lucky enough to be graced by Kelli and Ray for the morning. These superheroes were not only a blast to be with for the entire day but they allowed us to bounce ideas off of one another for some really fun and unique shots! The crew was with us from the hotel, to the venue, through the ceremony and straight into the reception party. There was never any doubt in either of our minds that day that we were going to be let down by anything that they did. About a week or so later, we were proven right as our sneak peek photos were edited and uploaded to social media where the compliments kept pouring in (and still do!). Additionally, a few weeks ago we were able to pick up our prints. We have no idea how we are going to decide on what ones get to make the “cut” for our wedding album! Mind you, this is only the pictures so far….we are beyond anticipating the “wow” factor when the images come to life when our video is completed! Overall, North Island was a pleasure to work with and we recommend them 110% to anyone looking for an admired, skilled, and enjoyable photography company that produces astounding work time and time again! Initially I was having a hard time choosing whether or not we wanted a videographer for our wedding, mainly because of the cost. However, I absolutely loved the quality of the photographs that North Island took for other weddings and I was absolutely blown away by the videos they put together. Ultimately, I knew that I would regret not having a video from the day of our wedding; so I caved and booked North Island for Videography services and I have not looked back. I spoke with Stephanie at the company and she helped me so much by going over pricing and what we would get for each package. Our videographers, Ray and Rich, were absolutely amazing, and really fun to work with. Not only were they professional and punctual, but they helped to keep my husband and I calm, especially when we had a little hiccup prior to the ceremony. They had some amazing ideas about what to put into our video, and were really understanding and patient because I am not the most natural when photos and videos are being taken of me. Ray and Rich also were super creative and asked our opinions on some of their ideas. We got to preview a few of their shots of the video and I am so excited to see the final results in a few weeks. If you are looking for an amazing videography team, look no further. North Island Photography and Films is who you want to book!

North Island’s work was the only advertisement they need. Even before I got engaged, I knew I wanted to use them. They are a bit expensive for me but my mom reminded me of this…pay for the amazing service now, and get the minimum prints and later on after you can order more when you have more to spend. But you can never turn back after having crappy photography to get better pictures. So we splurged and it was so worth it! We’ve only seen some of our prints and we will get the rest back soon. Michael, the owner , was our main photographer and he def got the job done. He was so creative and patient. We also had Carol and CeCe as photographers and they helped both my husband and I feel comfortable. (The week before the wedding, I showed my husband a wedding video highlight reel and he got a little freaked out that we were going to be the center of attention. After the wedding, he said he wasn’t even bothered the day of and was so excited to see the pics and video afterwards.) Rodrigo was our videographer. He was nice too and I’m sure he will capture a beautiful video. We have to wait a bit for that one!!

My fiancé and I just got married on Sunday, so we haven't seen all our photos yet, but the sneak peek of what is to come from #northislandphotographyandfilms is amazing. Michael and his crew are so talented and creative. After our initial visit I couldn't stop talking about how excited I was to have them doing our wedding photos. North Island, I don't even know where to begin. This company is so much more then a set of an amazing set of photographers. I will get to the photographs in just a moment because they are so much more then just photographers. This company truly operates like one little family. I booked the entire package- all the photographers (2) and all the cinematographers. (3) and I actually had a bit of concern one may have gotten in the way of the other, etc. No way not even close. They all work so fluently together. Jumping off one another ideas, turning small thoughts into an extravagent one by just sharing it with one another and listening to one another. They were always respectful to one another and constantly had me and my husband cracking up laughing which made for some great pictures! And each and every one of them truly love what they do and it shows. Just so many awesome things about this company words can't even express it. They were early to the venue, totally set up already, never took me away from my wedding for too long where it felt annoying, timed everything perfectly, literally ran from one side of the room to the other to get that perfect shot, changed lenses in .8 seconds to get the best shot, literally- they did EVERYTHING they had to to make sure they got that perfect photo. My main person was Stephanie.I had numerous shoots with her- engagement, boudoir, wedding and will be doing trash the dress-she is so much more then a photographer.I really felt like she took the time to get to know who my husband and I are as people and what kind of stuff we like,our personalities,etc.so all of photos reflect who we are as people. She is also one of the nicest people I've literally ever met. Never made me feel like just another client. But more like just a friend snapping some insanely awesome pictures of me- which in turn made me feel SO comfortable with her and it really shows in my photos. Which was especially important for my boudoir! I was so nervous leading up to that shoot but the instant I stepped in that room I felt totally at ease. Also, through each and every one of my shoots my smiles are all genuine because we always had a blast during them! Nothing makes for a better picture then a real smile. As for the photos.....wow. My engagement shoot made not only mine, but everyone else jaw drop. My boudoir shoot still has my husband drooling at just the thought of it and my wedding photos.....damn near brought me and my main people to tears. These photographers may think they are just 'doing their job', but the emotion that is captured through those photos is something I am going to be able to have for the rest of my life. They do so much more then just their job. They help brides relive their wedding day over and over again. To me- that is priceless. Aside from memories and mementos, this is the one physical thing I can take with me through my entire life to relive my day. There are no words sufficient enough to even 'review' North Island. Their brains certainly work different then the average person, they are incredibly creative, have such an eye (especially Stephanie oh my goodness this women!) for things that a regular person may not see, their confidence in directing a GIANT bridal party is nothing other then perfection. They knew exactly what to do when. Even my boudoir shoot, Stephanie literally thought of everything from ladders to a fireplace to candles to playing music the whole time to put me at ease. Truly amazing!

Today My fiancé and I had our engagement photo shoot with North Island photography. Michael and Courtney did our shoot and words cannot describe the way they made us feel. (Stephanie also assisted with the booking and e-mails with ease.) They made us feel so comfortable and were very hospitable. They never made us feel like we were just another client. They made our shoot feel special and unique. They personalized every detail in our shoot to match our personalities, hobbies and outfits. The immense attention of detail they put into shoots are inexplicable. Every expectation was exceeded and this was just our engagement shoot. They are the sweetest, most caring and professional team I've ever met. They made you feel at home when you were there. They had so many creative ideas and took our ideas into consideration as well. I can't begin to express how happy I was when I received my pictures from my wedding! Carolina and Cece were my photographers. The time and effort they put into the timeline of the day was amazing. Their vision was nothing short of amazing. Pictures last a lifetime, they are worth the money.

My husband and I decided to use North Island after seeing their amazing work. We could not be happier they were part of our special day and our photos came out absolutely beautiful. We had no doubt about their work after we saw our engagement pictures. Everyone is so kind and professional, Stephanie made everything so easy for me, as a bride you don't need extra stress added while planning a wedding and Stephanie made sure everything was taken care of for us. Richard created the most beautiful save the dates and thank you cards, he was very patient and revised our thank yous about 3 times. Kelli and Cecelia shot our wedding (5/29/16) and I cannot thank them enough for such beautiful photos that we will cherish forever. We have received countless compliments on our wedding photos, they look like they came out of a magazine. We cannot wait to see the rest of our albums. Michael has such a great team of artists and we are looking forward to using them in the future.

North Island came to us via recommendation from our venue, Flowerfields. As soon as I started looking at their photos, I immediately liked their style and wanted to meet with them. The North Island "office" looks like a little village that you just want to move into, it's decorated to die for and immediately makes you feel like you are in a really cozy home. We met with Stephanie who was super warm and friendly and decided to book. From there on out, any questions I had, Stephanie was there along the way. The day of the wedding, the whole North Island team was so professional, patient and awesome to work with. I was nervous about not feeling overly comfortable in front of the camera before-hand but that day, they really made me feel comfortable and I think that came through in the photos. Our pictures are truly beautiful, everyone cannot stop talking about how great they came out. I'm blown away by how gorgeous they are! I'm so happy with our choice to use North Island and cannot recommend them highly enough!

I cannot express how happy I am with the job that North Island did. I've only seen some of the photos, but I'm sure that they rest are just as amazing as what I've seen. And I cannot wait for the video! The photos perfectly capture the love my husband and I have for one another and also captured our silly, quirky personalities. I don't think there are any photographers out there that could have done a better job. PS. I was uncomfortable with how my arms looked in my dress, but you'd never tell it from the pictures. They seriously made me look like I lost 25 pounds! Big plus!! :)

There are not enough words to describe how excellent this company is. Michael and Cecelia photographed our wedding and our photos came out breath taking! We had about 100 of our photos less than a week after the wedding (via Facebook) and received our proofs within two weeks of our wedding date. We can't wait to view our video because we know it will be just as beautiful, if not better, than our photos!

My husband and I used North Island for our New Year Eve wedding in 2013. We have only seen a sneak peak of some of our photos (they are super good about posting a sneak peak on Facebook within days), but just from those alone, combined with the extremely professional, patient, creative and efficient work of our wedding day team we will be recommending North Island forever! They are a bit higher priced, but it is worth every penny!

We just got married two weeks ago and North Island has already posted over 100 of our pictures on Facebook - and we couldn't be happier. I spent hours already looking at them and I am so excited to get the rest of our proofs. I knew right from the beginning that North Island was unbeleivably talented. They offer an amazing Engagement Photo Shoot included in their packages that is just a taste of how amazing they truly are. They even put togehter a sneak preview a few days after our wedding and sent us over 123 pictures while we were on the beach in Hawaii. North island is phenomenal. Their photos and video are stunning, they impress me with every album and video I see. My sister and I both used north island and they made us feel like we knew them forever. They made our wedding day so relaxed and fun, one of our favorite parts of the day was taking pictures because of them. They captured every single moment and our photos are perfect. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!!

The team at North Island was amazing! Michael and Kelli are incredible photographers and Greg was an amazing videographer! The whole staff was so helpful and was attentive to everyone in the party! I'm so happy to have used North Island and they will be my photographers for life! I hope for every bride to be that they use North Island to help capture the days spectacular memories!

NIP did my engagement session and recently my wedding. I haven't seen the wedding photo's yet but I don't need to in order to give them a review. Not only are they genuinely nice people but they are artists. Michael and his staff are beyond dedicated to their clients and put nothing short of exquisite work forward. People STILL talk of how gorgeous our save the dates cards and engagement photo's are. I highly, highly recommend them!
