My husband and I used North Jersey Entertainment, specifically DJ Pat Lyons, to DJ at our August 2024 wedding. We strongly believe that the DJ is one of, if not THE most important wedding vendor because they make the party! From our very first phone call, we knew DJ Pat would be for us. He was kind, patient, and answered all our questions. DJ Pat worked with us to think about and organize each piece of our special day with his expertise and knowledge of not just weddings, but of us! Choosing North Jersey Entertainment for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! North Jersey Entertainment was a delight to work and plan with. We had Pat for our DJ and he was so great!! He made everything so fun and easy for us. We always looked forward to our planning calls because he’s just such a nice guy to talk to in general. Everyone is still talking about how great the music was! Let's talk about HOW amazing this vendor is. We had Pat as our DJ and we could not have made a better choice. Pat first started out with about an hour phone call with my fiance and I, to talk about what we "wanted". That word was really easy for us because we knew what we wanted. Pat explained to us why he asks this, because he needs to make sure that he is a good fit because every DJ does something different and has a different style. WE HIT THE JACKPOT. He hyped up the crowd enough, but then stayed behind the booth and watched the crows and made sure the dancefloor was always full. Also, Pat surprised us with this AWESOME remix as the last song. When the crowd chanted "one more song" you know two things, the DJ IS THAT GOOD and everyone was having a great time. We had about 20 messages come through to us to say how amazing the DJ was. They go to weddings, where music is too loud or just full of "fist pumping music". Pat did the perfect mix for us and started the night off with music our grandparents love and listen to, to ending the night with dance music knowing the older crowd had left. I would book Pat and this team over and over again!

NJ Entertainment exceeded our expectations with Nickk as our DJ! Our guests are still raving about how much of an amazing time they had. We had an untraditional wedding, and Nickk helped facilitate ideas to keep a great flow of the timeline for the beginning of the reception. It was our Grandma's birthday, and he even coordinated with our venue to include a surprise for her! NJ Entertainment was hands down our favorite vendor that we chose for our wedding. Nickk made sure we didn't have to worry about a single detail throughout the planning process, up to the day of. If you're looking for a DJ, look no further!! Matthew DJ'd our wedding on New Years Eve and did a fantastic job!! We spoke with him several times leading up to our big day and gave him an idea of the vibe we were going for. He captured our vision perfectly. He had a great presence without being one of those DJ's who talks too much or remixes every song. I would pick North Jersey Entertainment a million times over!!

Kevin and Chris from North Jersey Entertainment were amazing to work with! Kevin was extremely helpful during the planning process and always answered our questions in a timely manner. Kevin and Chris took our ideas and soared with them! They kept the party going and everyone was enjoying themselves. We've had family members ask if there was a playlist we could send them so they could relive the reception because they had so much fun! They did such a wonderful job switching between different genres to keep everyone dancing and having fun. They made sure to accommodate both sides of the family, which included English and Spanish speakers. Our photo booth attendant was also great and helpful with everyone! From the first moment my fiancé and I talked to Pat, we knew we had to go with North Jersey Entertainment for our wedding! Both myself and my now husband being music teachers, we were so happy to work with someone who is so knowledgeable and passionate about the art of DJ'ing. He knows how to read the room, seamlessly segue from one song to the next, entertain, and keep the guests happy and on the dance floor the entire night! The planning process could not have been easier and more enjoyable. Pat was so so easy to talk to, super personable, and really took the time to get to know us as a couple. He, without a doubt, genuinely cares about each couple he works with. He listened to what our we were envisioning for our wedding and was so flexible and open to new ideas, especially with new songs we were looking to incorporate in our ceremony. He gave amazing suggestions for music and lighting and was more than happy to share suggestions and ideas with us when we weren't sure what exactly we wanted. Everything was so well organized and we were at ease knowing we were in such good hands. From setup before the ceremony, to the very last moment of the reception, everything ran smoothly. Guests enjoyed all of the music selections throughout the entire wedding and had so much fun with the photobooth. We hired Pat as our DJ for our wedding 10/14/23 and all our guests had nothing but good things to say about Pat and the music. Pat was so easy to work with throughout our 2 years of planning. Pat was super reliable and so responsive over text and email. We felt very reassured and confident in Pat even weeks before the wedding because he took the time to listen to us and what we wanted and envisioned. There were a few songs that we wanted played at our wedding that were not available on NJE’s website of songs, and we were so thankful for Pat because he graciously took the time to download those songs prior to our wedding in order for them to be included in our song list. He had everyone moving on the dance floor, even relatives like our parents and aunts and uncles who normally don’t dance at weddings. This was my mom and her best friend’s first “American style” wedding and now they can’t wait to go to another wedding because they said they had too much fun dancing until their feet hurt. NJE’s photobooth was a major hit as well! I was a bit picky with the exact uplighting color and Pat was very patient and even went to our venue in person that same month in order to send me pictures of the uplighting in contrast with our reception room. We truly appreciated his hard work and attention to detail. Everyone loved the photobooth and there was always a line. Our photobooth guest book was full at the end our wedding, and we loved personally receiving it from NJE’s photobooth attendant at the end of the night and flipping through everything the next day! A few of our friends didn’t receive their links to their photobooth pictures via text, but after a quick text to Pat, we were immediately provided the link to all the photobooth photos that same night. Our friends were ecstatic to also be able to have the digital copies. We have nothing but amazing things to say about Pat and NJE and could not recommend them enough!!! Thank you Pat for giving us a wedding our friends and family can’t stop talking about and giving us one of the best days of our life and being nothing but kind and patient throughout the planning process.

Pat was great to work with. So kind and really helped us navigate all the music aspects of the wedding. He was so on top of it and we loved working with him. He nailed the music for the wedding! We had a big dancing crowd and everyone was dancing the entire night! He made our wedding very special!

We got married October 1st, and started planning with NJE and Pat last year. From the first call with Kevin and the first Zoom call with Pat, we knew we had found our entertainment. Pat is truly the best of the best. He is warm, funny, and knows how to listen to and work with his couples. My husband told me that members of his family were on the dance floor that he’s never seen dance. This is a testament to Pat! His energy and enthusiasm are amazing. Pat was absolutely phenomenal from the first phone call to the wedding. He was always there to help guide us through the process, answer questions, and then bring the party! He was so responsive and didn’t miss a beat during our big day. We weren’t sure where the photo booth could be set up at our venue or what color up lighting we wanted and he met us at the venue to figure it out. Everyone at the wedding had nothing but the very best to say about the music, and the dance floor was always packed. If I could give more stars I would. The best of the best right here!

YOU GUYS. Pat from North Jersey Entertainment was our favorite vendor BY FAR!!!! First of all, he’s so friendly. Not fake friendly, just genuinely a really nice and honest guy. He listened to everything we wanted and I felt confident from the start that he could and would deliver on what he promised us. Seriously, I booked during our first phone call with him after interviewing with at least 5 other DJs. After we booked, he was there for us whenever we wanted/needed him and always responded promptly (even when he was on a family vacation)! I was a real pest and requested he used music from YouTube videos, MP3s, Apple Music, AND a voice recording. Pat didn’t even bat an eye and made it all happen like it was easy. Second, the price is right and the quality is 10/10. We all know that while planning a wedding this is big. It can be scary to book with someone without knowing how exactly they do their job, but please trust me when I say that he is experienced, knows exactly what he’s doing, and really got the party going. Not to mention he didn’t try to sell us things we didn’t want or need, which was greatly appreciated and, frankly, a breath of fresh air. Third, if you’re looking for a more alternative style, he’s got that covered. We did an entire emo hour and he played everything we could have wanted. The crowd loved it so much that my husband, my 63 year old mother, and myself actually crowd surfed (I mean, you can’t make this up). Pat even got the best videos out of everyone of this happening and sent it to us. HOWEVER, if alternative is not your style, NO WORRIES! The other 4 hours of our wedding included music for people of all ages and music tastes, which is exactly what we wanted. I don’t think there was a single person who didn’t dance for at least one song. Fourth, he acted almost as our day of wedding coordinator. He made sure everything was happening on time, communicated with our other vendors, and checked in on us. Truthfully, I was a bit hesitant about our maître d’ making everything happen the way we wanted, but felt SO much better knowing Pat would be there. He arrives early and is prepared for anything. I only write reviews like this when someone really deserves it, and let me tell you, Pat MORE than deserves it. Wedding planning is stressful, I get it, but you can officially scratch “find DJ” off your list as soon as you give North Jersey Entertainment a call. Try it, and you’ll immediately know what I mean. THANK YOU, PAT!!!!

Pat from NJE was the DJ for our August 2023 wedding at Waterloo Village. From our first phone call consultation through the big day, Pat was incredibly responsive, easy to talk to, and an overall pleasure to work with. Pat read the room and played songs that kept everyone dancing all night long. Everyone loved him from my 6 year old nephew to my 91 year old grandma. Pat was also the DJ at our close friend's wedding in April 2022, where I caught the bouquet where he did an awesome job there too!

DJ Pat was unbelievably great to work with throughout the whole process. Over the many months of planning, he was extremely responsive (sometimes within minutes of sending an email) and my wife and I truly felt like he cared for us and our wedding experience. We received so many compliments during and after the wedding of how many people were on the dance floor the whole night and how great of a DJ he was. He played music for all genres and all of his song choices were excellent. He made it so fun and gave us not only great ideas for the reception, but the ceremony as well. He worked very well with our photography/ videography team as well to help us with certain items we wished for. Don’t even second guess it, book your wedding with DJ Pat!

Our DJ, Pat Lyons, was exceptionally communicative with us throughout the months and weeks leading up to our wedding, always reaching out when needed and coordinating calls to ensure that he was properly servicing our needs. His online music module for choosing your songs of preference was seamless and easy-to-use, and we felt that the music he played day-of reflected our personal styles as well as anybody could blend them. Beyond that, he was extremely friendly and it was a pleasure having him as our DJ.

You simply can’t go wrong with Pat Lyons! He truly cares about making your wedding as perfect as possible. Pat scheduled several calls with us leading up to our big day, and paid such close attention to detail. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and to really understand what we envisioned for the overall vibe of our wedding. We had such a great experience with NJE and Pat! He had everyone dancing all night long and we received SO many compliments about him. From the beginning he was very organized and informative, making sure to give us all the details / options without putting any pressure on us - he made sure we got the experience we wanted. I have been in enough weddings that I could plan one with my eyes closed. However, this past weekend, I was the MOH for a wedding that topped all others and it was solely because of Nick. Nick brought the best energy and kept the crowd dancing all night long. There was never a break on the dance floor. From the very start, Nick clearly communicated instruction and double checked every last detail with the bride and the bridal parties. Because of him, everything was executed flawlessly. His personality kept everything light and humorous while maintaining a professional reputation . I cannot stress this enough- HIRE NICK AS YOUR EVENT DJ HE IS INCREDIBLE!

Kevin and Chris from North Jersey Entertainment were the DJs for my son’s wedding on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Kevin and Chris were amazing to work with leading up to the wedding. They arranged a meeting a few months prior where we were able to work with them to work on the timeline and picking out the perfect song for each moment on the special day. Kevin and Chris provided their expert opinions which was so helpful in planning the big day. There isn’t a single thing I would have had them do differently for the celebration. All of our guests continue to provide rave reviews and tell us the wedding was the best they’ve ever been to. Kevin and Chris played a huge role in making the wedding the perfect celebration as the MCs and by organizing a playlist that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night, including some of our older relatives that haven’t been on a dance floor in decades! North Jersey Entertainment are my go-to DJs. I’ve used them in the past for other types of events and they never disappoint!

We had such a great experience with DJ Nick DeAngelo from planning to the big day. Nick was a joy to talk to on our zoom calls and made the planning process super easy. He created a memorable music experience for our guests by curating an awesome program of music based on the small playlists we created on Spotify with our "must plays", "music we like", and "do not plays" to give him a feel for our interests. Our guests raved about how fun the wedding was and how happy they were to have people out on the floor dancing to mixed music (not just a playlist). We asked him to turn our reception into a club after our formalities and he came through. As an MC, Nick brought a ton of energy and kept everything moving along at a high level. He was amenable to changes and made sure to confer with me that he had everything 100% to my vision. We are so happy to have hired NJE and in particular, Nick, who really went the distance for us.

Dj Nick was the absolute best. He was so personable from the start, and really took both mine and my husbands music preference into account. I don't know how he did it, but we somehow had the most amazing Taylor Swift AND punk wedding. All of our guests were singing and dancing all night. I had multiple people come up to me throughout the night asking for his info for any future events that they plan. 10/10 would recommend.

Nick was our DJ for our wedding on 5/20/23 and he was amazing! We had multiple meetings leading up to the wedding to go over timelines and the type of music we wanted. He was very organized and super helpful with everything! On the wedding day he was very punctual and was very flexible. It rained for most of the day so we had to move the original set up and he was super accommodating with that. He was so nice and it was really cool to see how excited he was for our wedding. It didn’t seem like a transactional vendor relationship at all. The one thing I wanted at my wedding was to have people dancing most of the night and that is exactly what happened. He kept the crowd going! Overall Nick was great and I would highly recommend him for your wedding!

Pat Lyons from North Jersey Entertainment was easily the smoothest vendor we had for our big day. He was highly professional, very easy to get to know, and made it a point to reach out and help flesh out the little details we never thought about pertaining to the flow of our ceremony and reception. Pat made the entire DJ experience so simple and fun. He was great with communication and so enthusiastic, he honestly made me even more excited than I already was. He was such a professional when it came to the day, and he was a super team player. We did a mostly DIY wedding so there were many moving parts, and Pat played his part perfectly!

From my first phone call to the minute I said goodbye to him on the night of my wedding, Pat was absolutely incredible. Throughout the whole process, Pat was always available to talk, to make suggestions, and to help make our wedding dreams come true. They worked directly with our venue on logistics and made my life so much easier. They also went ABOVE AND BEYOND the traditional DJ duties and took the time to help us with our timeline, vendors, tipping, etc. Nick even helped us source a videographer ONE WEEK before the wedding! He had amazing recommendations for key ceremony and reception songs and was great at reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing all night long. They also had an awesome photo booth and Ray gave us printed pictures at the end of the night (HIGHLY recommend the glam filter upgrade!). Nick was absolutely amazing to have as part of our big day! The planning phase with Nick I initially thought was overkill but it was 1000% what prepared me for all the major parts of the ceremony and reception and made me confident that all the songs were right and it was one thing I knew I didn’t have to worry about. Nick arrived early to the venue, was setup, and checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything. DJ Pat Lyons was incredible! He played absolutely every song we wanted to hear. we had a lengthy list of artists and genres we wanted to hear and Pat made it happen! He was so friendly and helpful/patient when it came to choosing our music. The flow of music throughout the wedding night was terrific! Numerous guests told my husband and I how much they loved the music. Pat's dj skills were so phenomenal that my husband danced for more songs than he has ever danced to in his entire life. Communication with Pat throughout the whole process was excellent. We could not have asked for a better dj!

Do not walk.... RUN when booking this DJ company for your wedding... DJ Pat was the best DJ ever. We were lucky enough to work with him for our wedding this past Saturday. Everyone kept asking us at the end of the night and next day how we found him and commenting on how great he was. North Jersey Entertainment is the BEST Recommendation for a wedding DJ hand down! I had Pat Lyons and he was amazing! My wife and I had specific requests on what to play and not and he did it to the letter! I ran down from top deck when he played my request of Labouche " Be My Lover " He had the dance floor popping even though he had to contend with NY skyline. He also had an amazing photo booth guy as well. Class & professional across the board from beginning to end!

We chose NJE for our big day and let me tell you it was THE best decision we made. We had Ryan as our DJ he was incredible. We even had one guest say they had never seen the dance floor so packed and lively before dinner was even served. Leading up to the wedding, Kevin gave us a very clear rundown of the different package options and truly helped us choose the one that best fit our needs opposed to upselling products which he very well could have done. We loved the portal that NJE has where you are able to add and categorize music in. This was one of the smoothest processes throughout all of our wedding planning. We had ~170 guest and I swear most of the guests were on the dance floor the entire night. If looking for your wedding to be a great time, look no further than North Jersey Entertainment. Pat is the bomb. He was so easy to communicate with throughout the planning process and was always available to answer any of our questions. My husband and I were super specific about what kind of music we did and did not want played throughout the day and he absolutely nailed it. I told him that I loved emo music and found the perfect balance of what we liked and what people would dance to. PERFECT. I heard a few of our guests yell "he's playing nothing but bangers!" They are so reliable as a company and I did not have an ounce of stress working with NJE. 11/10 would definitely hire them again for a special event!

Ladies and Gentlemen, listen closely and repeat after me: “I must hire NJE for my wedding entertainment.” Again, but with conviction. “I must hire NJE for my wedding entertainment.” Good. Well done. Honestly, though, NJE was the easiest decision to make when planning our wedding. It was my initial phone call with Pat that sold me. He was passionate, professional, personable, and did everything within his control to make us happy. He was also the first person to call me the morning after our wedding to congratulate us and to make sure we had a great time. I can’t say enough good things about Pat. Then, DJ Nickk DeAngelo entered the chat. I don’t even know where to start with DJ Nickk, other than to say that he was the BEST DJ we could have hoped for to DJ our wedding. On day one of working together, he was willing to drop what he was doing and jump on a video call at 10:30 p.m. because that was the time that worked for me. Nick was prepared and organized during each meeting we had, but more importantly, Nick’s excitement made us excited! And, for good reason—he CRUSHED IT! Our guests were on the dance floor the ENTIRE night and are still talking about how much fun they had. DJ Pat Lyons was absolutely incredible! He was referred to me through my Best Man, who also worked with Pat for his wedding. Pat's planning process was easy and painless. A couple phone calls to discuss ideas and plans. If we had missed a section on his questionnaire or were still noodling over a decision, he was patient and helped us through. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch. We have been to (what feels like) dozens of weddings these past few years, and have seen a lot of good and a lot of bad wedding DJs. Pat was the absolute best. The sound was on point for the outdoor ceremony, the partially-indoor cocktail hour, and the indoor reception. He was friendly and easy to work with for both us and our other vendors. We will be recommending him to EVERYBODY in need of a DJ!

Nick was our DJ for our wedding and he was INCREDIBLE! Totally hands on, took care of everything so that my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. He was super nice & friendly, and we truly enjoyed our meetings with him. His DJ skills were top quality - all of our wedding guests were raving about our wedding. Nick kept things running smoothly and according to plan. At one point in the night, every single guest was on the dance floor! Nick was the DJ for our wedding and he did an AMAZING job! Leading up to our big day, Nick couldn't have been more helpful. We had multiple meetings where Nick helped us choose songs for every part of the day. When we didn't have ideas for certain songs, Nick was extremely helpful in giving us multiple suggestions. Nick also brought the uplighting for our wedding, the photo booth, and set up for us to dance on a cloud. Guests were dancing all night at our wedding. We received so many compliments about the music and Nick. We have already recommended him to our friends and family in their future events.

NJE was amazing! Originally I tried booking Pat, and he was on vacation the week of my wedding. We ended up booking Nick and he did not disappoint. We had so many compliments on him throughout the night and since our wedding. Right after we ended our ceremony, we were in the bridal suite enjoying some food before going to cocktail hour and Nick was in the reception room going through all the music for the bridal party entrances to make sure it was perfect. We added the photo booth on our event, and it was awesome. Our photo booth guest book had every page filled. I would highly recommend!

Pat did a great job at our wedding reception. He was very friendly and seemed to really enjoy being there! It was a pleasure working with him. He even let us sneak in a practice run of our first dance during cocktail hour! That was one of my favorite memories

What can I say about DJ Pat?! The positive thoughts surrounding him are endless. We could not have asked for a more perfect night with the most amazing DJ. When we found out that Pat was going to be our DJ, we were so excited. We saw all the reviews from others who had nothing but positive things to say. This review will be no different. DJ Pat was beyond professional, personable and easy to talk to on the phone. He called us numerous times throughout the year to better help us prepare while providing suggestions and accommodating all of our requests. My mother had passed away a few years ago, and it took me a long time to figure out a song that would represent her while also keeping the mood a light and happy one.  It took me almost up until the wedding to figure something out, and Pat was beyond patient and helped me along the way. We never felt as though we were working with someone from a "DJ Company" we had hired; we felt as though we were working with a new friend who had grown to know us well quite quickly. The connection Pat makes with his clients truly shines through the day of the wedding. We wanted a memorable wedding focusing around fun and dancing, and Pat delivered. He kept everyone entertained the entire night!  Multiple people approached us throughout the night with wonderful comments regarding Pat and how they were thoroughly enjoying his presence. The atmosphere was so positive that even those that were not true "dancers" were up, moving around, and chatting. Many mentioned that DJ Pat was the best they've seen in a long time! I was told by relatives how Pat would come up to guests at the wedding letting them know that he did not forget to play the song that was requested and that it would be coming up next. Lastly, Pat kept us on track with all of the special events for our reception by giving us gentle reminders of what was coming with more than enough time to prepare. He was also actively watching us on the dance floor for any little cues or nods to either keep a song going, or cut it short. He was extremely in tune with us and the transition between events and songs was flawless. Pat, thank you for going above and beyond from the very first time we spoke on the phone- you were professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend DJ Pat for any special occasion. DJ Pat is the best!

He really made an effort to know me and my wife. He would offer helpful suggestions when asked and always made himself available.
