North is Chef Eyal Shani's newest full service restaurant, specializing in highlighting the flavors of Israeli cuisine in its simplest form. Our kitchen prepares everything in-house and the menu changes daily to reflect what's fresh & new each day. The menu features fresh, seasonal vegetable small plates paired with larger fish and meat dishes designed to share. We combine the vibes of Tel Aviv with the flavors of Israel to introduce you to the North experience on the Upper West Side.
Our second floor is ideal for private parties for seated brunch, lunch or dinner with a full bar.

WOW WOW WOW. We are three weeks post-wedding and friends are still calling us in awe about the food, atmosphere, and professionalism of the staff. We couldn't be luckier.

o the nitty-gritty. Here also we will start from the bottom line - we didn't have to lift a finger or worry about anything during the wedding! Carinne and her staff executed everything according to plan, dealt with everything with ease and poise, and allowed us to just dance, eat, and enjoy an unforgettable evening. AND IT WAS MAGICAL!!!
The correspondence with Carinne was amazing. She was patient, understanding, and there to make our dreams come true. She constantly reassured us and calmed us down, making the entire process of planning the wedding (from the floor plan to distributing chocolate souvenirs at exactly the right moment) seamless. If that's not enough, during the wedding, we felt like we had a new best friend taking care of us.
Chef Nadav is a culinary wiz. Besides the obvious of having everything cooked to perfection (and on time!), he took full ownership over each dish as if it was for his own wedding. Chef Nadav helped us through the process of mixing and matching different dishes, he knew to tell us when we should add more variety and when it was too much. Last but not least, he knew how to create the exact pallet we desired and magically blend it into a culinary festivity for everyone's tastebuds to explode.
Our wedding was an intimate (100 guests) event, with heaps of character, magnificent food, and service, tremendous music, without the flashiness of ridiculous costs of a wedding venue. If that's what you're looking for, don't even give a second thought.
