wedding was simply wonderful! The staff were all very friendly, courteous and very accommodating. The highlight of this venue would have to be the outdoor area that we were able to utilized. They have a grassy area as well as a patio area that is included in the package. Overall just amazing venue!

o on and on. No detail was overlooked. Jessica met with us multiple times to go over all of the details. Shortly before the wedding, when my husband forgot what the room set up looked like, she graciously walked us through all of the details again. The club served as our home base throughout the day as we used the locker rooms to get ready, store our personal items during the ceremony, and touch up hair etc before dinner. Couches and wall-sized mirrors for the women; showers, leather arm chairs, and TVs for the men. The relaxing atmosphere provided a great start to the day. The only thing that could top the gorgeous facility is the superb kitchen and waitstaff. Multiple guests commented that their meat was excellently cooked and there were more than enough waitstaff on hand to make sure all 150 people were served within minutes of each other. While the staff was serving salads, my husband and I went around to take a picture with each table. I'm sure this was a great disruption to their planned order of serving the tables, but I did not see a single server with anything but a genuine smile on his or her face. I know North Oaks provided excellent service because my husband and I never had to do anything. Jessica and her team were there to make sure all of our guests' needs were met. Everyone was treated with the personalized attention I would give them as guests in my own home.

of 200 and we wanted to have an outdoor cocktail hour with lawn games. Very few venues will let you be on their lawn, but North Oaks had a beautiful patio and lawn with a gorgeous view of the golf course. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful it was and they had so much fun with the cocktail hour. In the evening we had a fire pit (provided by North Oaks) on the patio and guests loved it! We had s'mores as our favor and it was a great alternative for our guests who didn't want to dance. The gazebo was a great place for our first look and the staff was very accommodating with letting us get ready in the locker room and taking photos the morning of the wedding. The banquet room is a bit dated/overly fancy looking which wasn't quite our style (green chairs and window shades), and it was a little tight for our 212 guests for a seated dinner, but they did a great job setting it up so that everyone was comfortable. They have just purchased a new sound system that we rented and it worked great for the dance and all speeches before the dance. We even used it outside for the cocktail hour. The food was delicious, but more important the staff were fantastic. Kay was very attentive and gave great tips through the whole planning process and Jonathan and his team on day were on top of it. My reception host came up to me and said, "Every time I go to do something you have on your list for me, the staff has already done it!" I highly recommend North Oaks and am so grateful to the North Oaks staff for making our day unforgettable.

ils all went so smoothly during our wedding day it actually surprised us. Kay did a great job managing our thoughts and expectations while also managing our budget requirements. People loved the food, the servers were spot on in between each speech. Jayson who managed the staff during the night surprised both myself and bride since he asked atleast 3-5 times if everything was ok during the whole evening...something we really appreciated. We held our ceremony outside at the gazebo and everyone let us know how elegant and gorgeous the venue was. It made it VERY easy for nice photos for everyone. People also enjoyed the 10pm pizzas which were very tasty. The only thing I wish I could have done...it attend my own wedding as a guest since everyone said they loved it. NOGC played a major role in this and it is no wonder they book up so far in advance. Thanks again and a job well done. :)

your wedding day really takes the stress off of you and allows you to enjoy the day as you truly should. The staff was just amazing on our wedding day - professional, courteous, caring, etc. The entire day went off without a hitch because of the service the provided. Also, we wanted our guests to enjoy a great meal at our wedding reception, and the club did NOT disappoint! Everything from the appetizer platters to the main entrees were amazing, and the plate presentation was exquisite! We had person after person coming up to us that night and the next day saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Also, the scenery around the club for pictures was amazing! Everything from tall flowers and grass, to beautiful trees and lakes, to the beautiful golf course made our pictures just beautiful! There were so many different spots for us to go and capture the fun of the day. North Oaks Golf Club was integral for making our wedding day one of the most fun and memorable days of our lives. I cannot speak highly enough about how great they were to work with!

orth Oaks Golf Club because when we walked in over a year ago to visit the location the food smells were intoxicating, the staff was wonderful, the venue is gorgeous, and it was reasonably priced compared to other venues in and around the Twin Cities. The venue had to be able to accommodate an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception, as most of our guests were from out of town. Throughout the entire planning process the staff was wonderful, even to the point that Jessica (event coordinator) called the City of North Oaks and the Red Barn Historical Society President to get approval for us to take photos at the locations. The North Oaks staff was overall extremely accommodating and willing to work with me (a particular bride when it comes to details). Even the night before they helped set up the chairs and relocated them when we discovered an odd sewer odor in the air in one location. Throughout the wedding evening the food came out very quickly (15 min for 170 plated meals to be served), and the staff adjusted the quantities of the late night affair (decedent sliders and fruit) to fit the amount of people we had remaining at the reception. They also replenished the cupcakes as they were taken and eaten off the table. Bonuses to note: - Bonfire available - Patio was available all evening and could have been used as another outdoor ceremony location. - Gazebo available - Room reservation is for the entire day of your wedding, not just a few hours leading up to it. - Flexible with rental delivery and pick-up. - Robert or Tess are amazing the day of the wedding as the wedding - day - of - coordinator. Overall, my husband and I would recommend anyone and everyone to use North Oaks Golf Club as their wedding venue and/or reception venue. Oaks Golf Club has been an over the top experience. In the early stages of selecting a venue and vendor, North Oaks was the easiest decision because they were able to cater to all of our wedding needs. Jessica Bailey was absolutely incredible and beyond helpful with answering all of my (endless) questions and guiding me through planning our wedding. We held our wedding rehearsal, grooms dinner, day of getting ready, photos, ceremony and reception all at North Oaks. North Oaks provided everything we needed, with the exception of (outdoor) ceremony chairs and flowers. They catered all of the food, beverages and desserts for the grooms dinner and reception - even provided sandwiches and beverages for the wedding party between photos and the ceremony. Throughout our rehearsal and wedding day, the entire staff at North Oaks made us feel special and exceeded all expectations! The food tasting held in February made selecting the menu a tricky task because all of the food was so delicious! We opted to have North Oaks also cater our dessert, which ended up being not only cost effective, but also delicious! Working with North Oaks was the least stressful part of planning our wedding - Jessica made it an enjoyable experience! Not only was our experience with North Oaks beyond special and perfect, but the venue itself has a great layout and setup to host the complete wedding. Hands down, holding our wedding at North Oaks Golf Club was the best decision and we couldn't be happier the service and experience we received!

We can do it all, whatever you need." They absolutely delivered. NOGC staff were so professional, accommodating, warm and thoughtful. They did the set up, the tear down, allowed us to drop things off a week before, and did a lot of work to be sure people with food allergies were satisfied. To top it off, their prices are fair and reasonable, and they are up front about any and all additional costs. I could not ask for a better venue and group of people to host our wedding.

The centerpieces that we dropped off were places as requested and looked wonderful. The staff were fabulous. Our event manager was very responsive and managed to quickly coordinate Kitchen to add additional appetizers above our initial request. The main meal was raved about by many of our guests. We had 12 tables and a plated meal. The food was quickly delivered to all tables hot and delicious. The rest of the evening continued without issue. Desert table setup as we envisioned. Staff coordinated service efficiently creating a smooth flow. Beverage service was well managed and bartenders friendly, helpful and efficient. Our DJ's sound system sounded great in the room and dance floor was right size for our group. I am so pleased with the way North Oaks managed our event.

She is amazing and does an out standing job. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and so clean. We received so many compliments on the beauty of the grounds and what a peaceful place it was. The staff the night of the reception was amazing and extremely patient as we switched some of the timing. They were all polite and courteous to our guests and provided service with a smile!! The good was fabulous!!! I was worried about serving chicken and steak because it can be tough to serve and have the meat done right...no issues here...outstanding! Again I heard so many compliments on the food and how delicious it was. Kudos to the chef and his staff!! I could go on and on. Hands down this was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to and it was not because it was my daughters....it is because the staff at North Oaks help make it just that!! I probably could have said "jump" and they would have said "how high?" They were there with whatever I needed even before I vocalized it! There were so intuitive and made everything run smoothly and were so nice! During the dinner service, they were quick and efficient and not distracting at all! You get an amazing value for what you pay! Less expensive than comparable places in the area but you wouldn't expect it by the looks of everything! I highly recommend North Oaks Golf Club!

She was easy-going and made me want to book the venue even more after laughing with her during our visit. The cooks, during food tasting, visited our table and asked for suggestions. I wanted my salad to be served with the dressing on the side, and it was done without hesitation. I had one vegetarian and one gluten free meal, and was created and given out without complaint. During the event, the event manager visited for a brief moment to check in, but didn't stay long. She was available throughout, checking in on food and drink. The wait staff was efficient and joyful. They worked hard and all with a smile on their faces. The food was served hot and delicious. Many guest commented that they had wonderful food. The bar staff kept our guest from becoming to thirsty or rowdy! We rented a bonfire on their patio and they kept it roaring the entire night. It was a great escape from the indoors. After the event, the event manager and servers checked in with me to see if I enjoyed myself, helped collect items, and let me return to collect flowers the next day. The day after the event, a North Oaks manager also visited with me about my wedding, helped me collect all of the items and even presented us with boxed up cake. It sounds like they did a perfect job, and they did. We had around 178 people attend the wedding, not including the servers, DJ, photographers, and videographers. The space was just perfect for our event. We could not be more pleased with the outcome of our event. If you are considering North Oaks Golf Club, book it now. You will NOT be disappointed.

It ended up not raining, we had a beautiful outdoor wedding, and while taking pictures appreciated just how beautiful the grounds are. The staff was efficient, patient, organized, and they truly seemed to care about how this day went for me, my (now husband) and my guests. However, we were most impressed with the overall service of the entire staff at North Oaks. Helping hands were offered when we were dropping off and picking up items for the event (my florist even commented on the helpfulness when she arrived to set up!). The execution of the details was flawless and the wait staff was courteous and prompt (again, we received compliments for this). I could go on and on! It was enjoyable to work with North Oaks throughout the entire process and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a classy yet affordable reception site.

When we started looking into reception locations we ran into a problem at more than one location, if you want to have a luncheon they want you to vacate in time for them to also have an evening event. This was not the case with North Oaks, they were more then accommodating and we were able to have the ballroom for the full day. The staff was great! I have a type A personality and pay a great deal of attention to details. The staff did a great job executing all of my requests. The day of the wedding the Food and Beverage Manager was on site overseeing the event. They continually checked in with myself and my mom to make sure everything was going well. The food was excellent! We received a lot of compliments from the guest on the food. The ballroom is a great space and has a beautiful view. We had about 180 guests and the room felt very comfortable. Overall we found North Oaks to be a wonderful reception location and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Lots of planning ensured a perfect wedding, rain or shine. We got lucky with a gorgeous day so the gazebo was a picture perfect spot to say "I do". The ladies locker room is a very comfortable spot to get ready, lots of space and privacy. The staff are extremely professional and the service is impeccable. The service is second to none, in my opinion. If there was a problem on my wedding day, I knew nothing about it. I would highly recommend North Oaks Golf Club to any bride that wants very few worries on your wedding day.

We had one very small error on the day of the wedding, but the wedding coordinator was so quick to correct it, that only I knew of the error. The day was perfect, the site georgous and the staff were completely professional and so helpful. The food was outstanding! We had so many compliments! The day was fantastic and I would highly recommend NOGC for a wedding. We will certainly use them for our next wedding.
