Ryan was great with our engagement session! It didn't take long at all and he knew exactly how to pose us which was extremely helpful since we had no idea what to do. Me and my wife were having a small destination wedding in New Orleans last May. We did not need 10 hours or an album. The owner and his mother were able to accommodate our very small wedding and within our limited budget. I HIGHLY recommended them for your wedding or elopement.

OMG... My wedding was photographic ART. From our bridals to the smoke effects, it wasn't just pixs, it was ART. I have no words to express how wonderful everything was, and how wonderfully everything looked in the final pictures. If you do not want boring wedding pictures and video, you must hire North Photo and video.

Finding a wedding photographer was next to impossible. There are dozens of them in NOLA and none that I heard of before . My wedding planner and my venue gave me a list of photographers, and North Photography was on both their list, so we said yes!

NORTH PHOTO was the best vendor I had for my wedding . I needed to move my wedding 2 times due to covid problem. Other vendors would not let me move my wedding date without paying a big fee. This company was amaing and were very understanding.

I attended my friend's wedding in New Orleans this year as a guest. I had offered to photograph her wedding for free, but she wanted me to enjoy my limited time in New Orleans. I was amazed how talented the local photographers she hired to shoot her wedding was. I am a new wedding photographer, and Ryan is the most skilled wedding photographer I had ever seen. His nighttime work at my friend's wedding was top tier. After watching him work the wedding, I spoke to him and found out his also teaches, and he offered me some photography tips.

My experience with North Photography has been absolutely amazing!!! I have chosen to do a 2021 destination wedding in NOLA where I am doing all of my planning from the complete opposite end of the country! Ryan was extremely easy to communicate with despite us being thousands of miles apart and in different time zones. I told him it was my dream to have my engagement photos in NOLA in 2020 and I was unsure if that would happen during the current environment. However, Ryan was super flexible and took precautions to safely meet with me in New Orleans. Since I live out of state, we only had a very small window of time to get the photos done.... And What’s worse than hearing about rain coming on your scheduled photo shoot day??—— Try a full blown Hurricane!! That’s right. The news showed a heavy storm coming. I was so distraught thinking I traveled so far and I would not be able to get the engagement shoot of my dreams... but Ryan MADE IT WORK!!!! He worked with me to still get the photo shoot done while I was visiting and the photos turned out FANTASTIC. I did not meet Ryan before I booked him or before I traveled thousands of miles for the shoot... I took a gamble and it paid off!! I cannot wait to have him shoot my wedding next year. He hands down exceeded my expectations and went the extra yard for this out-of-town bride!

We had a last minute wedding date change due to a military deployment, and by luck Jeremy was still open to photograph our wedding. They were on the ball 100% of the time. Chrystal made sure my makeup was perfect and fixed my dress and jewellery for all my photographs! She was the absolute best!

I have been in a lot of weddings Ryan has photographed. He shot my sister and cousin's wedding. The owner is more like a friend, since I seem to run into him everywhere. His mom is a florist who decorated my mom's wedding 40 years ago.

Jeremy and Ryan and the rest of their team were the great. Ryan did our pre-wedding dinners and Jeremy photographed the wedding and day after parties. It took a few weeks to get all the images back, but there was like 1400 pictures and they were all great. Took us days to look at them all. Good company and I would strongly recommend them to everyone.

By far the best vendor I had for my 300 guest wedding. We booked the larger package since my wedding took place over the whole weekend. We spent around 20 hours with Ryan and his team. They were the best!!!!!

These people know their **** I was expecting pictures to take hours and bang! 25 minutes and all the family pictures were done! Time to HAVE FUN. We have fun shots of everyone parting, drinking, not a bunch of boring posses pics. Great!

The photos from our wedding turned out amazing. Totally worth the wait! Ryan’s and his team we’re great at directing and made taking photos and posing a breeze. We had a very long day that included our traditional ceremony, church ceremony, and reception and the crew did an awesome job.

Absolutely stunning photographs!! Ryan and his assistant were kind enough to squeeze me in for my evening wedding this past November at Southern Oaks Plantation. They already had a full day of shoots, and I'm sure were extremely exhausted, but they managed to capture some of the most magical shots I've ever seen in my life. I ordered the 4 hour package with the digital files, and received an album link to send to family and friends (which is very user-friendly). My entire family LOVES the pictures. Thank you for capturing the most important day of my life!!

"Absolutely breathtaking" and "these photos are art!" are just some of the comments we received from friends. Not only were the photos gorgeous, Ryan listened to and applied our requests for theme and vintage-type shots, making our photos unique and made-to-order - we didn't just want standard photos, we wanted classic film-like stills! I could go on and on, but the bottom line is: look no further and book with them. It just doesn't get better than North Photography.

We used North Photography for our rehearsal dinner at The Napoleon House. We originally booked Ryan North but at the last minute there was a change of photographers, which we agreed to. We were disappointed as the replacement photographer didn’t help arrange any shots-like family photos or bride and groom photos. He just sort of stood in one section of the restaurant until we asked him to take a certain picture. The pictures came back okay. I wish there were more honest reviews on the knot, so that brides can make more informed decisions about the vendors the choose. Which is why I think it’s important to share that our experience was just ok, not terrible, but not amazing.
