drinks: Chef Cesar is an artist in the kitchen. We had so much fun meeting with the team to discuss some menu potential and then let Cesar and the kitchen design a menu based on some rough guidance. The hors d'oeuvres were unbelievable and unlike any wedding we've been to and set such a great tone for the meal to come. The rest of the dinner was just as amazing and such a fun mix of different dishes and styles. The pastry chef also made our cake and it was exactly what we wanted. Kat is an incredible bartender and they came up with such a nice cocktail list for the day that included local herbs and honey from the rooftop garden. The location: The location is stunning in Lincoln park with a great view of downtown. Our guests were blown away with the fact the restaurant was in the park. It also was a great spot for photos and guests really enjoyed being able to mingle outside during cocktail hour and even dancing since it was a lovely night. Other notes: we had about 85 people which seems towards the limit for the restaurant but it did not feel cramped at all. We also had a DJ with a live sax which was perfect. The dance floor area wasn't huge and the live sax and DJ combo was such a hit with guests without taking up too much space.
