Save Lives in Lieu of Wedding Favors
Because who needs another votive candle or personalized match sticks? Giving a donation to North Shore Animal League seemed like the perfect way to bring awareness to a cause near and dear to our hearts on our wedding day. Lorri was very helpful when placing my order and we are so grateful to be able to share our day with NSAL.
For our wedding, my husband and I decided we would each choose an agency that was near and dear to our hearts to make a charitable donation to in lieu of providing favors. We are sohappy that we chose North Shore Animal League! I have been following them on social media for quite some and it melts my heart how caring the staff are for these sweet animals. I was especially moved during Hurricane Harvey which left many animals without owners and/or homes. NSAL went down right away to rescue these helpless animals and that right there was my deciding factor. I spoke with the Manager, Lorri who was extremely helpful and provided me with the EXACT product I was looking for. The cards arrived in perfect condition and were of amazing quality. Many of my guests commented on how great they looked and were much happier that we made a donation rather than provide a wedding favor. I highly recommend NSAL and encourage couples to make a donation which goes such a long way and could potentially save a life!!

Based in Port Washington, NY, North Shore Animal League America is an animal welfare charity that offers a unique alternative to traditional wedding favors. In lieu of wedding favors, couples can make a tax-deductible lifesaving donation to this charity and help them continue to rescue, nurture and find responsible, loving homes for homeless pets everywhere. Couples can choose plate cards or a display board to celebrate their commitment to saving lives with their guests on their most special day.
--They have two board displays and plate card designs from which to choose.
--Each board can come in two separate sizes, 8" x 10" or 11" x 17".
--Plate cards are 3.5" x 5".
--Upon customizing your display board and/or plate card with your names and wedding date, they can be delivered between 4-6 weeks.

Since 1944, they have been saving the lives of defenseless dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens, with over 1.2 milion lives saved to date. Their vision is a future in which all companion animals find a responsible, loving, and caring home where they are free from abuse, hunger, fear, and loneliness.
