I believe a wedding ceremony should feel like the two people getting married — personal, comfortable, meaningful, and maybe even a little fun.
When I work with a couple, I don't start by handing them a standard script and asking them to fill in the blanks. I start by listening. I want to know what you want your ceremony to feel like, what's important to you, what traditions you want to include, and just as importantly, what you don't want.
Some couples want a beautiful traditional ceremony. Others want something relaxed and informal. Some want to incorporate their love story, family traditions, faith, or cultural elements. And some want to get married in Renaissance attire, exchange vows during a handfasting, or create something nobody in their family has ever seen before.
I'm comfortable with all of it.
My approach is relaxed, organized, and adaptable. Weddings don't always go exactly according to plan, and that's okay. My job is to help keep the ceremony moving, make sure you know what's happening, and handle the little things so you can concentrate on getting married.
I also believe a meaningful ceremony shouldn't require spending a fortune. Whether you're planning a simple legal marriage, an intimate elopement, a backyard wedding, a traditional ceremony, or a completely themed experience, I'll give your ceremony the same care and attention.
Most importantly, North Shore Life Ceremonies welcomes all couples. Whatever your age, background, beliefs, traditions, or orientation, you'll be treated with respect and your relationship will be celebrated for what it is — yours.
At the end of the day, I want you to walk away thinking, “That ceremony was us.”
North Shore Life Ceremonies is proudly Mason- and Shriner-owned. The profits from every wedding we officiate are donated to Shriners Children’s, helping support the incredible care they provide to children and families.
That's what Your Wedding. Your Way. means to me.
