From the time we booked our wedding with NVCC, to the wedding night, everyone was so helpful and flexible. I would recommend anyone to have their wedding at NVCC. The food was delicious, and the wedding package includes items such as the wedding cake and centerpieces, as well as 11 hors d’oeuvres and many more during your cocktail hour. We can not say enough positive things about NVCC, and all of our guests are still talking about how wonderful our wedding was! Can we do it all over again?! :)

The only reason I am not giving NVCC five stars is because they neglected to follow one dietary requirement we had listed a week beforehand. One of our best men is allergic to spinach, and the salad he was served contained spinach. Thankfully, he was able to get another salad and the server was apologetic, but it was disappointing that we gave NVCC a list of dietary requirements for our guests with specific needs and this was overlooked.

Our day was perfect. Highly recommend. The long version: I really didn’t want a wedding at a typical venue. I always thought they were overpriced and the food is horrible. However we got there and fell in love with the venue and the price! The food was ridiculously amazing. To be honest when I went to the tasting I was not really impressed. However day of it was not just good, the food was amazing. The appetizers were ridiculously good (especially the dumplings and whatever the shredded beef on toast was). For the meal selection we went with the teriyaki salmon and the herb fillet. It was amazing. the dessert my mom won’t stop talking about is the chocolate mousse! The desserts weren’t cheap tasting or looking (you know when you’re somewhere and the dessert looks like a frozen variety pack from Costco? This was not that at all!). The price- I spent far less than I thought I would have. And certainly less than my guests think that did! The staff- made me feel like a king. We didn’t get a chance to eat our meals when they were served so the staff took back our plates and brought us fresh ones, we didn’t even ask them to. They just did it. Clearly they have refined their service. Also, they kept asking us if we needed a drink which was really nice because it was hard to get away from people to get one. There were some changes in staffing from when we booked to day off but it wasn’t a big deal. Also, I have to give a shout-out to Kevin. Kevin was amazing. So was the planner and the day of coordinator. Other things- I was worried about parking because I wasn’t sure how the lot would fit our wedding and the one next door. It was not an issue. I actually forgot there was a wedding next door! Never saw them until the end of the night when we were leaving. Also, in case this helps you and your situation: We are a same-sex couple and not once did they make me feel unwelcome or uncomfortable. They treated us and all of our guests with respect. Even in the pro-shop I never felt judged or like it bothered anyone. To my straight counterparts this might sound stupid, but the gays will understand. Just know they treat you and your guests respectfully.

We got rave reviews from our guests about the food and service NVCC provided. A lot came included when selecting NVCC and their price was the most affordable out of the venues we viewed. Day of, our Maître d supported us the whole way. I never felt rushed or like a bother. The event staff even made sure our immediate family was taken care of the whole night! Huge shoutout to Danielle (our coordinator), Kevin (our day of coordinator), and Alice (our Maître d) for such a wonderful experience. Our wedding day was just perfect!!!

The food was served hot, the coat rack was ready even though it was the end of April. Dang rain! The food was fantastic and I am so impressed with the vegetable quiche because many of my guests do not enjoy mushrooms but they LOVED the vegetable quiche even with the mushrooms. We did not feel rushed in any way and I truly appreciate that since there are so many venues who will rush you if they have another event. I would give the day, the venue, the staff, the food a 1,000/10. I can't wait to have another event here in the future.

. Eva went above and beyond to start the ceremony 10-15 minutes early and it worked out perfect because as soon as we said "I do" the Skys opened up and the rain began. We had alot of access to the golf course before hand to take great pictures and my guest all loved the venue. The entire staff I can't thank enough and Walt the head bartender is the best in the business (request him) all 200 guest didnt have to wait for a drink all night long.

Three days prior to our wedding the GM, called to inform us that they could not deliver on a bourbon listed in our contract. He was unaccommodating and lacks customer service. They knew months prior and waited last minute to inform us. We drove around looking for the bourbon only to be short changed by venue. Day of the ceremony area was covered in dry leaves. When I walked down the aisle you could hear them dragging under my train. The path directly behind the ceremony area was covered in pine cones and geese droppings. Two of my bridesmaids dresses got poop all over their hemline during pictures. The air in the bridal suite was not on, the champagne glasses in there had lipstick stains on them. I never once saw the butlers hors d’oeuvres for the bride. The venue did not put out the cake stand. I also provided 2 drapes for the hexagon only one was used. The coordinator pawned us off on her assistant from the drop off day forward and did not relay any information. After having spent so much money at this venue I would have expected they handled things better. We also did not so much as get a thank you for choosing us.

The staff was very pleasant, the main bartender was very good!, venue looked good, and the food was decent. However, my wife and I had an extremely stressful and traumatic time with coordinator and general manager (Mario) the week of the event due to the venue not meeting the contract agreement and missing a significant amount of outlined planning details throughout the event. Three days prior to the wedding the GM called and stated he was unable to fulfill the main bourbon item I wanted, and this item was also heavily detailed in the contract for the top shelf bar option. He stated he knew about this for months, but only decided to tell us 3 days before the wedding as if that week isn’t busy enough picking up family from the airport, finishing up other plans, and more. Not only would I have been able to help him acquire the outlined item if he told me sooner, but we also provided him options to make up for this massive slip up since it was the sole reason we choose this venue. Mario was uncooperative and had extremely poor customer service during these conversations. With a mess up like this there should have been some significant compromise brought up immediately. He eventually stated he would cover any bottles I would find personally (which I managed to find two after spending 8 hours calling and driving to the only shop in south jersey that had it). Of course, when I asked when I could be paid he stated it would take 4-6 weeks and he didn’t even cover the full cost of the bottles (imagine that even after paying for the open bar). They then magically found two more bottles in Pittsburgh they complained they had to fly out which was conveniently offered an hour after I told them we would host our event elsewhere and would need our money back. They also said they would cover 5 guest meal costs that didn’t arrive because they dropped the ball, but they came short by almost 50% from their offering (another shocker after dealing with the disgusting customer service the week of the wedding). During our walk through we were given the coordinators assistant to review the wedding plan (which was news to us since the past year we were working with Danielle the entire time). The details of the wedding were completely off from the final meeting we had with our original coordinator two weeks prior. After making the corrections during our drop off and final review, the day of the wedding had a significant number of misses. Some of these ranged from our cake not put on a platter we selected, the hexagon drapes not set up correctly, bridesmaid room had no AC or control for the AC as well as no waters in the room, they wouldn’t serve some of our friends because they didn’t have an ID but we were all over the age of 30 in the room, no one following the bride and groom around to provide drinks or food (so the bride didn’t have any), and more. I also didn’t even get a lobster with my meal, the plate showed up with a tail shell and no Meat! . There were also leaves and goose dropping all over the place from the photo shoots in the main driveway to the ceremony spot. I could keep going but I hit the character limit for this review.

I recieved compliments from every guest. they all asked how did you find this place and complimented the staff. everyone was soo sweet. the place was perfect. My Matré D made sure to check on me. All the staff was extremely professional. Now I don't know her name but there was another Cordinator who wore a red skirt on the day of my wedding. My Hat truly goes to her. She was by my side every moment during my wedding, she went above, over and beyond. I have never met an angel like her before. I don't know her name but I need to call and find out. If you are looking for superb, professional service then Northampton is the place. I looked at 6 different venues before coming across this one. This was the last one and it was my go to. Danielle the sales Rep.. personality, kindness and comfort was what sold this place to me. Their packages are well priced and fitted our budget. We had 3months to prepare for the wedding and everything was superb on their part.

the entire planning process. On the night, the ballroom and cocktail room were beautifully decorated, and our custom decorations were perfectly setup as well. We had custom items for both our sweetheart table and memory table, that were laid out exactly as we had envisioned them. Once we got to the reception, there was nothing for us to do except enjoy the party. The food was amazing, in both quality and quantity. There wasn’t anything we tried that night that didn’t taste incredible. We elected to have a bacon bar, and it was the most talked about thing at the wedding. We chose this based on our experience years ago at a different venue, and NVCC’s version was even better. Everyone we spoke to enjoyed their entrees, with one of our guests telling us that our vegetarian option was the best vegetarian entrée they’ve ever had at a wedding. Even with the food being as amazing as it was, the highlight of the night was the level of service and attention we received from our wedding coordinator Kate, our banquet manager Lee, our head server Mary Pat, and the entire staff. It was nothing short of outstanding. We had trays of the passed hors d'oeuvres brought to the bridal sweet for the wedding party, and our head server brought us samples of each item in the pasta and bacon bars. We got to try every food item, which were all delicious. Mary Pat made sure that neither me nor the bride was ever wanting for a fresh drink. And, at the end of the night, they boxed up several donuts from our donut wall for me and the bride to take with us, two each of our favorites. NVCC’s staff made the evening run so smoothly and enjoyably for both us and our guests. We were getting compliments all night long from our guests about every aspect of the venue, but especially the food and service. On a personal note, my father-in-law became severely ill shortly before our original wedding date, and would ultimately spend almost two full months in the hospital. We had to make the decision to postpone at the last possible second, weeks before our wedding. Our coordinator Kate was incredibly understanding and supportive in helping us move our date, during what was a very terrifying time for us and our family. Fortunately, my father-in-law recovered and was able to walk my wife down the aisle, and we are forever grateful to NVCC for minimizing the stress we had about having to postpone. We could not be more satisfied with our choice of venue, and could not recommend them more strongly.

When we got there for our appointment the coordinator was not prepared, and basically did everything she could to brush us off. She told us she could not accommodate anything she had originally said she could and told us no venue ever books 6 months in advance which is a complete lie because all of her dates (6 months paste our tour date) were booked so we were told lie after lie after lie. She was also extremely unprofessional when we were leaving instead of walking us to the door she said goodbye from her chair at one of the tables in the large ballroom. She then followed up with basically a "cover my butt apology" email with options that suddenly appeared out of thin air. Even if I was given everything I could ever ask for, I would never give them my business based on their lies and how unprofessional they are.

We really appreciated that extra step! Leigh was our Maitre'D and she was wonderful! She was always there when I needed something and I felt comfortable asking her for something. The staff was great at cleanup, making sure to pack up all our stuff so it was one less thing we had to do at the end of the night. It was such a beautiful wedding despite all the circumstances that worked against us and I highly recommend them!

I have many friends that have lost a large chunk of their life savings over venues and companies refusing to refund or even work with their clients during this pandemic. However, NVCC knows how to run a business. They actually care about the client and even though I am sure they are hurting financially as so many are, they have completely worked with us from day one of the lockdown and continued to do so through each and every new regulation and limitation that has been put into place by PA. Our wedding coordinator, Kate Conville, bent over backwards numerous times to help us navigate through every possible option of having the wedding of our dreams, even when it seemed hopeless. She treated us like we were part of her own family and made sure we were happy. After looking at the possibility of rescheduling many times as numbers went up and down, we unfortunately finally determined our wedding would just not be possible this December the way we intended and NVCC has refunded us our deposit knowing that it is neither of our faults for the current situation. My fiance and I will still be getting married in a small, private back yard wedding on our original date but we look forward to planning our huge (delayed) wedding reception after this is all over. The only reason we will still be able to do this is because, unlike many other venues, NVCC actually put us in front of their own financial gain during such an unprecedented time. Both the company and the staff's willingness to understand that the fine print of a pre-Covid contract shouldn't be the end-all-be-all has left us grateful and proud that they are a business in our own community. As our wedding date quickly approaches, even though we will not be having the big wedding we initially dreamed of, it is because of Kate Conville and NVCC that our Covid wedding will still be the happiest day of our lives. Without hesitation we will most certainly be having every important event that our future holds at NVCC (hopefully with Kate as our coordinator!) because we know we can trust them to do the right thing and to take care of us. The whole process was such a great experience and so refreshing. In such a hard time they did whatever they could to make it better for us. When it came time for our wedding on the 28th they were phenomenal. The NVCC staff truly did everything they could to allow us to have a great day. We can not recommend this venue enough. She was EXTREMELY quick to respond with the million questions that I asked her throughout my year and a half engagement and never left me hanging or any question unanswered. Not only this, but she did so with the most professional yet caring customer service I have ever experienced. I was so lucky not to have had to hire a wedding coordinator because Brigid made it all so easy! Our wedding was very large (250 people) with many upgrades and details. Everything ran super smooth under Dominique (my Maitre'de) and Brigid's care. Additionally, Brigid was on top of contacting me to provide an even better experience for our ceremony in the venue's other ballroom since there was not another wedding the night of ours. The venue could have easily switched the room around during cocktail hour, but Brigid made it possible for us to have the ultimate experience and use the entire facility. The food was absolutely incredible but the service was just outstanding. Our bridal server, Kevin, waited on us hand and foot. But, all in all, Brigid "takes the cake" in being the most absolutely dedicated director with which I've had the pleasure to work.

We truly appreciate the whole teams help with coordinating and planning our special day. The Northampton team did everything possible to make our wedding stress free. She does a really good job of making your wedding feel special and unique and offering as much assistance and guidance as she can. The wedding packages available offer a lot of extras that you won’t see at other venues. The cocktail hour food spread is the largest I’ve seen offered because they give you all of the appetizers, rather than making you pick only five or six. They also include centerpieces and the cake! The hospitality staff was very friendly and did a great job overall making us and all of our guests feel special for the day. We were given a personal waiter to bring us drinks and he even put together a spread of cocktail hour food for us to eat since we were busy taking more photos and mingling with guests. They also worked well with our vendors throughout the process to make sure things happened as planned. We are very happy overall with our experience and grateful for the efforts of the people who made it happen. We would absolutely recommend using their services to anyone considering this venue. The only part I wasn’t satisfied with was the photo opportunity locations. At our initial meeting, it was presented as if we would be able to go anywhere in the country club for photos. On the day of, it was a lot more restricted and there were many places we could not go because of golfers. There were very limited areas that photos were allowed and even the areas we were allowed in were rushed because golfers were coming through. This was disappointing for me since photos were a very important part of the day for me and it was presented as if we could go anywhere in the 100+ acres. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and absolutely perfect wedding. The ceremony space was exactly what we were looking for and the ballroom was the perfect size. I would definitely recommend Northampton Valley Country Club if you’re looking for an all-inclusive wedding venue for a more affordable price.

I am the epitome of a Type A personality and Brigid never made me feel like I was annoying or asking for too much. She answered all my questions in detail, got back to me in a timely manner with all the answers, and reassured me (several times) that the day would go off without a hitch.. and it certainly did! Third of all, my Maitre’D Sarah was phenomenal and super attentive. I was never without a drink or food the entire night. And Dom also was great at making sure everything was set up to my liking. My vision of the decor 100% came to life and I was thrilled! The food was amazing as well... and there was PLENTY of it. Guests were commenting on it all night and I could tell it was coming from a genuine place. Overall, and I may be biased here, but you really can’t go wrong with booking NVCC!!!
