People couldn't stop complimenting the "name that toon" during cocktail hour and dinner and once the dance floor was opened, it was packed and fun the whole night! ps that we like, he put together a playlist for us and allowed us to edit, make changes, as well as suggest ideas. He made it the whole process incredibly simple by providing us with examples while still and allowing us to make the decisions. At the wedding, John had the perfect personality for a DJ. He made the night fun from the beginning until the end, while at the same time keeping us on track with the schedule, making our wedding party announcements, and getting the party started. No one wanted the night to end. It should also be noted that John has excellent customer service and is a very kind person at heart.

DJ Shawn was very helpful with planning leading up to my wedding. My only complaint was the DJ made a very inappropriate joke about divorce in the middle of the reception, but all in all I was pleased with the service and everything I got. I would definitely recommend them.

was more than we could have asked for. also, the photo booth was legit, THE BOMB!!!!! Major hit. We couldn't keep people out of there! They made a photo book with all of the pics taken in the booth, it is by far our favorite!!!!! Extremely affordable and very professional! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

d is Serbian so it was important for us to have some of the cultural music played and I gave him three songs and he was able to get all three for us, which was a huge hit. I also changed things up last minute (I.e. During the reception) and he was totally cool with it and it was seamless. We booked him for 6 hours but ended up paying (not much, by the way) for two additional hours because we were having so much fun. He also did our ceremony music and did a fantastic job with the transitions. We also used An Affordable DJs company, Northeast Ohio Photo Booth, for our photobooth which was a blast. We received a memory book with it which was so much fun to go through. We also will be receiving digital copies as well. All of these services were provided perfectly at HALF the cost of what I was quoted at by some local competitors. John was humble, efficient, organized, dressed sharp, didn't try to steal the show, and is great at his job. Everything was wonderful and we are truly blessed to have chosen this company!

John Hobdy, owner of An Affordable DJ, was so easy to work with. He did everything exactly as I wanted it and kept the party alive the entire night. His prices are affordable, he's extremely professional, and overall a gentleman! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ and thanks to him, our guests had an amazing time!

My favorite part about John is he TRULY IS THERE TO SERVE YOU! We asked for a song to be played, it was the very next song. Every request that was asked throughout the night, John did it with a bat of an eye!!! I am EXTREMELY picky and John exceeded my expectations! He NATURALLY knows when to move onto the next event, I did not worry the entire night about time!!! If you are worried about each event not moving quick enough and if guest will dance--- we NEVER had that slow, down time while waiting for the next event with John!!!

tremely easy to work with. We requested full DJ service, a little M.C. work, and his photo booth service. Everything was perfect. His M.C. work was professional, not at all corny, yet extremely fun. He had our guests on the dance floor all night. Additionally, his photo booth attendant, Madeline made sure our guests had a great time capturing memories throughout the night and even took care of assembling our photo strip and message book. We can't say enough about what John and Madeline delivered to our special day. Here's the kicker...his prices are fantastic!

Many people remarked that the music wasn't so loud that you couldn't hear each other talking, yet loud enough to keep the dance floor hopping.
