Northern Art Photography was great to work with, twice! The communication before both events, the day of, and after was excellent. My husband and I were among the COVID weddings so we had to postpone our larger ceremony. Northern Art Photography accommodated us and photographed our small wedding in 2020, then again for our larger wedding in 2021. Our photos from both events are beautiful and we are so happy with them. Even years later, Northern Art Photography has continued to prove how outstanding they are. After losing our wedding photos due to a computer crash, I called and Andrea remembered our weddings and could accommodate us to retrieve all the lost photos! We highly recommend Northern Art Photography for all your photography needs, you won’t be disappointed!

We absolutely loved working with everyone at Northern Art Photography! We were lucky enough to work with Casey for our engagement shoot and wedding. Casey has such a beautiful vision and comes up with very cute picture ideas. She works with you to find the perfect time and setting to get the most beautiful pictures. I cannot say enough great things about her. For our wedding we also had a second photographer Matt who has such a unique angel that got us some of our favorite photos from the wedding. He was such a blast to work with. Andrea main contact and editor does such an amazing job leaving us speechless at the beauty and elegance of every photo. She is super fast as well because we got out wedding photos just one month after. They are so easy to get ahold of and super kind making the whole stressful process a pleasant experience. They respond to emails if not the same day then for sure the next making it so easy to get answers. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this company. You always know your getting the best results and will have the best time with them. A decision you won’t regret. ❤️

First off, Andrea the owner was very professional, kind, and quick to respond to my questions during the planning process. Our photographers from the day of, Casey and Kletia, did a PHENOMENAL job with our photos!! They were so fun to work with and had us laughing and feeling comfortable while taking photos - which made them turn out so amazing!! Could not thank them enough and would highly recommend!

Andrea and her team were great to work with, especially trying to get married in such a stressful time. She was very receptive to our input, and has a very artistic approach, which we like. The video was also outstanding! Recommend making the picture list she sends, and keeping a list to share of any other photos you might want. The day goes by fast, but she makes sure to get in all your requests, and more!

Where do I even begin? From the moment we first met I knew Andrea was the perfect fit for our big day. She was so personable and accommodating to our large group, and was beyond professional the entire time. At the end of our bridal party photos, everyone was so taken aback how quickly and efficiently she had captured everyone. It was in the low 30's on our wedding day and she somehow brought out everyone's inner Next Top Model-- you can't tell at all that we're freezing! I would definitely work with Andrea again in the future, she is such an awesome person and we were lucky to have met her. Thank you, Andrea, for making our special day memorable.

We have such amazing photo booth photos from our day thanks to Northern Art Photography! Our guests had so much fun with the props and we loved that they got a photo to take home (we had one to keep too)! They also sent us all the digital copies so we could post and share them with our friends and family. Having an "open" photo booth with just the back drop is so perfect to have for large groups to take photos together and really just makes it such a fun atmosphere!

My friend Jennifer Smith got married on 8/11/18. Her photos were so natural and caught the beauty and magic of the day. My friend’s hair,makeup, and dress was beautifully displayed in each photo. After researching photographers extensively, I decided on Andrea because of her beautiful, yet natural pictures. We had Andrea do both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures. I had high expectations of her, and we were not disappointed! All the pictures were INCREDIBLE. Not only is her work breathtaking, but she took charge during pictures and was able to organize the bridal party and families to get all of the shots we wanted - She captured every must have moment and more!

Andrea was more than I could have expected. She helped me carry my train for photos and was basically showing me the same care and kindness as a bridesmaid. I will be forever grateful that she helped me on my wedding day more than any other friend. She was fabulous, and her photos were beyond beautiful. Our photographer was so sweet! My parents booked her for their wedding & all of the photos turned out beautifully! She was so professional but at the same time made me feel comfortable and like I could be natural, not like there was someone with a camera. I just received my photo's yesterday and I am in shock!! They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! My main photographer was Casey! She was so professional and talented! Andrea did the editing and WOW!!! If you want the best photographer, I would go with northern art photography! They get your pictures done in a timely fashion, are very kind, and you will get the most creative and beautiful pictures...better then you could of dreamed!!!

I can't say enough good thing about Andrea! She did 2 engagement shoots for us, a boudoir shoot, our photo booth and wedding photos. I am so happy with our choice. She is so fun and professional! Andrew Bogard worked seamlessly with our bridal party during the wedding. Looking back on it, I can say that she was very professional and supportive of the bride, but at the time, I honestly hardly even noticed her, she was just that discreet. I've had a chance to get a sneak peak of the photos and they are incredible. Would recommend!

Andrea Bogard was wonderful. As a bridesmaid who has been through the experience of her own wedding, I felt that Andrea was especially attentive to the needs and wishes of the bride, was creative in her approach, patient while working with a large bridal party and sub-optimal weather, and took the initiative of guiding the bridal party through the morning prior to the ceremony. Very professional, and based on the photos I have seen so far, highly skilled!

My husband and I used Northern Art Photography for both our engagement and wedding photography sessions and we could not have been happier. Andrea is so easy to work with, personable and listens to the style of photos and vision you may have. She knows northern Michigan so well and knows all the beautiful places for picture taking. On our wedding day, she took our bridal party to a truly breathtaking portion of Lake Michigan near the Castle Farms venue and captured amazing pictures of everyone. We could not have been happier. Not only that, but she was prompt in communication - returning emails and phone calls. And, she just really took care of us on our wedding day. She made sure we kept hydrated, fed, and just always checked in on us to see if we needed anything. I was really impressed by Andrea and her team. Our wedding photos are back and we are so thrilled by them. I am so excited to work with her to create our wedding album now. She is highly, highly recommended and we will use her if we need any additional photography, especially of our dogs, up north!!

Andrea and her second photographer (can't remember his name 😬) did an amazing job on our wedding day!! Andrea was so organized and kept our crazy family and bridal party on task all day long, while telling us exactly what to do so that we could get the best shots in a timely manner. Had the opportunity to work alongside northern art photography for a wedding I was just a MOH in and I love them!! What else can I say but WOW! They were organized, sweet, efficient and talented. The day of the wedding they made sure to get all the photos the bride, Kathleen, wanted and never forced unwanted or overly posed photos (which I enjoyed). The best part was their prompt follow through with the edits- my friend received her photos less than a month after her wedding date and they were STUNNING! Looked like movie star photos! My favorite were the ones she took at sunset- highly recommend that photo to be taken! :) thank you for making the Schlafly wedding as perfect as the couple!

WOW! From the very beginning of my interactions with Andrea she was nothing but AMAZING! She was extremely organized, talented and kept in touch regarding buttoning up details I hadn't even thought of! She was recommended to me by a friend who also used her and there isn't a single thing I would change about my experience with her. She was on time, professional, calming, great to be around and my bridesmaids absolutely loved her. She made sure to capture all the photos on the list we had created together ahead of time and would even pull my husband and I aside when she noticed the setting would be a great photo op. She shot our rehearsal dinner and would take posed photos along with candid ones. She captured the little moments that I won't remember down the road, in a way that is truly breathtaking.
