Northern Charms Salon

I booked North Charm Salon for my wedding, and unfortunately, the experience was disorganized from the start. I had to create my own day-of schedule for my bridesmaids' hair appointments. Despite reaching out multiple times for help and requesting they review it, I never received any feedback. When I called to follow up, the response was, "Oh, I think I got that," which was extremely frustrating. If they had received it, they should have responded, especially for something as important as a wedding timeline. I was also never informed that my makeup artist was from a different salon until the day of my first bridal trial. On top of that, she wasn’t available that day. While this was not the makeup artist's fault, it was North Charm Salon's lack of communication with her that caused the issue. I disliked my first trial, but since I was told to schedule it close to the wedding to assess my hair length, it was too late to back out due to their policy. After much effort, I finally made the stars align and got an appointment with the makeup artist. However, even during the second trial, the experience wasn’t ideal—while the result was better, it still wasn’t exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, I felt stuck and had to settle. On the day of the wedding, the makeup artist, who also happened to be a hairstylist, had to fix both my hair and one of my bridesmaid's hair due to issues with the original styling. Overall, the poor communication and disorganization from North Charm Salon left me stressed and disappointed during a time that should have been seamless and enjoyable. I would not recommend this salon for weddings based on my experience.

Northern Charms did a wonderful job on our hair for my wedding! Justine was extremely kind and helpful. She also created a stress-free timeline that even allowed me to go for a run with friends on my wedding morning. The bridal party hair all looked beautiful and was unique to each of our styles!

Northern Charms did a wonderful job on all the hair for me and my girls for the wedding day. I was running short on time to book a hair stylist for the wedding and they were able to make it work for me in their very busy schedule. During my trial run they were running a bit behind but still did a great job once they got around to me and on wedding day, it turned out beautiful as ever. They very friendly and talkative with all the girls as we got prepared and did a great job with the timing. The setup and clean up was very quick and they were able to get all of our hair done within the time frame I needed. Lastly, a big thank you for working with my flower girl. She can be difficult when it comes to doing anything with her hair, including brushing it, but they did a great job working with her so that she felt beautiful too.

Northern Charms Salon was nothing but professional! Justine was punctual and did a great job making my hair absolutely beautiful and just how I wanted it for my wedding day. They made my day stress free. I would recommend them to anyone!
