l the pictures made me feel and to see my handsome husband in such a different light. Start from the beginning........ I searched for a photographer, scrolled thru several but the story of their name and of Jamie's dad really caught my attention. Jamie and I met in Annapolis to talk about wedding visions, colors, venue, etc. We learned that our favorite color is purple. We had an instant connection on many levels! She was a BOSS, much like myself, when it comes to the industry we are both in. We chatted, then she handed me her bridal guide and my mind was blown!!!! I had absolutely NO idea so much went into taking pictures at a wedding. I am here to tell you they do SO MUCH more! Jamie and Bob guide you thru and make everything that much easier. Then came the engagement sesh. This is when we collided on a whole new level. My now hubby met Jamie and Bob for the first time and i’m sure he was just as mesmerized ! They truly are amazing! They both have a way of giving direction to achieve the perfect pic and they depend on each other for different things. Bob allows Jamie to lead but he is there for a quick fix, back her up, or make sure you don't get stuck in your heels. He is the best! They joined us for dinner after and that is where it all began! Long story short we hit it off! We were so blessed to find them and have them with us during such an amazing time in our life. The wedding day: We had a brunch style wedding so the day started early. They were early. Jamie and Bob took detail shots while I finished getting hair and makeup . We took twirling dress shots, MOB, and FOB first look shots, etc. They all captured every ounce of emotion of the day. Brides let me tell you, these pictures will be your memory! You will be in such a cloud of emotion and the day goes by so fast you will be forever grateful for the people that capture these moments for you! Jamie and Bob can do just that and more! MOB went to the venue and accidentally took the keys! EEK! So the BRIDE and FOB hopped into Jamie's White (fitting) Jeep and Bob got us there on time :) Yeah Bob! For the main event..... I will tell you that I don't think I really saw either one of them until after the ceremony. They blend in and are not in your face! They are just there capturing every second, every detail, and most importantly the joy and happiness of your day. We had a simple ceremony and then a reception with seated brunch. All the pictures were perfect and I truly wouldn't change a thing. Jamie and I were on the same level of what pictures we wanted and where. After the reception we went to the USNA Garden for some newly married shots with some greenery in the back ground. We twirled in my Cinderella dress with my shoes off in the grass and I just loved letting loose. Jamie makes you smile and laugh and you feel so comfortable with them. The day ended and we said our goodbyes but I know that we will have many more adventures with our new found friends. I will end my review by saying that if you are fortunate enough to have Jamie and Bob be your photographers for the most important day in your life you will NOT regret it! If I could give every Bride and Groom a gift it would be Jamie and Bob! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts! And here's to our next great adventure!

pite the crazy heat the day of the party! They were able to work quickly through different posed shots and put up with some our goofiness. Then, throughout the reception they took so many great candid moments while also making sure families and friends got fantastic pictures together. They knew exactly when the lighting was going to be perfect for certain shots and Bob happened to always be nearby whenever I wanted a picture with someone. They were so friendly and easy going while also making sure they got the shots they needed! The turn around for the pictures was super quick (we even got a sneak peak that same night!) and within no time got a link to the gallery. The best part was being able to send the gallery link to friends and family so that they too could see and download all of the amazing pictures from the night! I can't tell you how many compliments we got from our friends and family! Jamie and Bob are great individuals but also amazing photographers and I am so happy I had the chance to work with them.

nsuring I got the right permits for photos (I had no idea I needed to). She was very friendly and extremely flexible. I was doing this last minute so most communication was via email as I preferred and she was completely fine with that. I met her the day of the wedding and she was already taking photos and just completely on it. Oh did I mentioned very well priced! I wanted a small wedding and to not spend more on photos then my dress and that seemed hard until I found her. She was fairly priced and delivered more then I expected. After the wedding I received the photos a few (or less I don't remember exactly) days later. Very fast turn around. Wrote a very sweet summary on her site that held the photos. Truely more then I expected. She captured the pictures so well for a day I want to remember forever. This was one of the best purchases for my wedding as the photos help hold the memories.

but I was impressed by phone conversations and by Jamie's responsiveness to my emails and questions to my ideas. She did research on my venue and was prepared on my day with her own ideas and suggestions. I HAVE SOME AMAZING PHOTOS! Jamie captured so many moments during that day, sweet and funny, but all meaningful. But more then that, they were there and took charge of things they needed to, they directed bossy family members, multiple times Bob mentored me, and also carried around my plate of food, to make sure I ate! (how thoughtful! :)). Jamie also helped keep an eye on my nephew when all my bridal party got pulled in another direction, and she managed to get some very adorable pictures of him! They made what seemed like chaos manageable and fun! But best of all they did this together and got photos I can cherish forever!

every detail from our conversations, and she was prompt with getting us our digital photos! We love all of our photos and can't choose a favorite! I would definitely use Jamie again for other events, and I highly recommend you use her for your wedding!

t took all my worries away. I had a lot of people in my bridal party, as well as my groom having the same amount... plus allllll of the family... it was so hectic but i knew without a shadow of a doubt that Jamie and Bob were getting amazing shots the whole time, and i wasn't disappointed in the least!! i would recommend them both with the highest of praises! can't thank them both enough!!

She was PERFECT at coordinating and directing our wedding party and families for our group shots. She made all of us feel so comfortable and kept us smiling! self and had some help from my mom and bridesmaids. I had no clue really of how to plan a wedding but I did it. One of our first vendors we booked was with NorthernLights Photography. I was searching online and came across the site on weddingwire. What first caught my eye was some of their pictures they had posted. I reached out to NorthernLights and a few others. Jamie is the owner and her husband Bob is her awesome assistant (if you want to call him that because he is definitely more). What I loved was that Jamie responded pretty much right away. The communication we had was great so Brian and I decided to meet with her. Jamie was friendly, professional, and organized. Jamie told us exactly what to expect and asked us to trust her. Brian and I had one concern and that was how we would turn out in pictures. I am white, Brian is black, and our skin tones are so different taking pictures can be a problem sometimes. Jamie reassured us that that would not be a problem at all. Once Brian and I left our meeting we felt so good about having Jamie be our photographer that we booked NorthernLights that day. We did an engagement photo shoot first and it went so well. Jamie and Bob are so put together that they make an amazing team. One of my favorite things about Jamie is she has such an artistic side when is comes to her photography. She doesn't just take your "typical" pictures. Jamie and Bob wrote a Bridal Guide book and they send one to each of their brides. I received mine about a month or two before our wedding. By this time I was getting nervous and overwhelmed with all the little details I still needed to finish. The Bridal Guide was such a help. Jamie had sent me a day of the wedding timeline and I was able to make one for the bridal party off of that. When our big day came Jamie and Bob were on point. They knew where they wanted to take pictures and were super organized. Once the night was over Jamie had up our sneak peak a couple of hours later. They were AMAZING and I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.
