Northern Stacks Events is a wedding venue located in Fridley, MN. This industrial-chic destination has been refurbished to a contemporary finish while retaining the building’s original historic structure. Here, you can curate the day of your dreams, with 3,100 square feet available for everything from small gatherings to large scale soirées.
Situated in the same building as the Forgotten Star Brewery, Northern Stacks Events is steeped in historic details. The exposed brick walls pre-date World War II and blend perfectly with the upscale urban style of this exciting new venue. The eye-catching old factory towers provide the perfect backdrop for photographs that exude a vintage city feel. You can host your wedding day here surrounded by up to 125 of your nearest and dearest. Should you wish to celebrate your ceremony on-site, you can exchange vows in a room characterized by yellow brick walls and polished concrete floors. The high ceilings and large windows create a bright and airy atmosphere, allowing abundant light to pour over your guests. Afterward, while you enjoy cocktail hour, the dedicated team completes a swift room flip in time for the seated reception. Your guests can park along the north and west sides of the warehouse.
At Northern Stacks Events, you are free to customize every last detail of your wedding celebrations. An in-house venue manager is on hand to assist you in every way they can. Beverage and bartending packages are available and you can choose everything from beer and wine to premium liquor. The seasoned bartenders also offer delicious infusion stations for refined refreshments. In terms of décor, this spacious premises is a blank canvas upon which you can project your wedding vision. Outside caterers and entertainers are welcome.

all, farm tables, huge windows, among many many other things. The space is so versatile, you can work with it from every angle. and it still looks gorgeous (which is a rare find). The moment I walked into the place I fell in love with it, and no other venue compared. I was lucky enough to have my wedding at the venue of my dreams. But not only was the venue a dream, working with Jesse and Kim was also. They were willing to work with us every step of the way, and answer an endless list of questions I had, and do what needed to be done to accommodate our needs. I don't think I've ever been to a wedding that has gone so smoothly and flawlessly thanks to their hard work, and the best part of it was that it was my own wedding! I would recommend this venue to everyone, day in and day out. You cannot go wrong with the space or these people. Everything about it is absolutely fantastic.

The venue was exactly what we'd hoped. Historic, unique, accommodating, beautiful. Our guests raved about EVERYTHING: buffet, cookie bar with homemade cookies, barn wood tables, DJ and dance floor. Top marks to Jesse and Kim! Even months after our wedding, we still go to Forgotten Star, grab a beer and wandered next door to NSE and remember so fondly our special day. Jesse and Kim are so easy to work with. They are always kind, accommodating, and professional. Leading up to our wedding, Jesse always responded to our questions quickly via email or set up a call with us. The day of, Kim was hugely helpful in keeping the day run as scheduled and being available for any last minute concerns.
If you want to visit beforehand (we sent our moms a couple of times as we planned our wedding out of state), they welcome you and your questions and help bring your vision to life.
The attached brewery is an awesome feature, and your guests will be able to enjoy craft brews at your wedding bar.
You can bring your own caterers/bakers and other vendors, but they will also provide recommendations if you don't know where to start. There is a great sound system. The free onsite parking means no worries for your guests.

usband and I knew from the start of the pandemic we didn’t want to wait another year to get married, so we quickly found an alternative. We found Northern Stacks Events online and within a week ended up changing our venue to be more accommodating with restrictions/be able to still proceed with geting married on our original date!
This ended up being the perfect venue for our wedding and more! We had our ceremony and reception both take place there. The space is beautiful during the day and night!
Like I mentioned before - Jesse (the owner) is amazing and helped throughout the whole planning process and answered all the questions I had until the day of. Trust me, after switching venues, I had a lot of questions, and he emailed/texted them back and forth always in a timely matter. He was very professional, nice, and easy to talk to. We didn't hire a day of wedding coordinator, so Jesse stepped in and took place of that as well to make sure the day of my wedding went smoothly, and it did!
The day of my wedding could not have been more perfect. Jesse and his staff took great care of us. Right after the ceremony, they made sure we had some food and drinks before the reception started. My husband and I had the best day of our lives, and we got so much great feedback from our guests. Some even said it was the best wedding they’ve been to!
