Les and Marty blew us away with the tasting and from there, we knew it was going to be good. Everything was delicious, there was so much variety and lots of options for us to choose from. Everyone told us how incredible the food was after the wedding! We are so happy with Northern Valley! Thank you Les and Marty!!!

We were having our wedding at a country club, but knew we needed the food to be kosher for our guests. My sister-in-law, who is a rabbi and has attended many kosher events, told us that Northern Valley Affairs was the best kosher catering she's ever had at a wedding. Northern Valley Affairs was the perfect option for us, because we wanted Glatt kosher food that had the option to fired before Shabbat ended. Les and Marty were so wonderful throughout the planning process. They let us come in for tastings twice, and Jennifer, the Maître d', was so warm and hilarious - we knew we wanted her at our wedding. Les and Marty were so supportive as we were navigating changing the date due to COVID, and never pressured us at all. For every meeting, they always let us customize our menu however we wanted, and always left us full to the brim. Fast-forward to our wedding a month ago, and they completely knocked our socks off. Another reason we went with Northern Valley Affairs was because they already had done events at our venue and came highly recommended by the venue, so everything was so harmonious between vendors the day of our wedding. The food was amazing--everyone is still raving about cocktail hour and the tequila station. Jennifer and her team were amazing day-of as well. Truly could not recommend them more if you're looking to outsource Glatt kosher.

We could not feel more positively about Temple Emanu-El's service from start to finish. Les, in particular, was a pleasure to work with and manages a staff that is thoroughly professional and devoted to making the wedding as enjoyable and personalized as possible. We definitely recommend doing a tasting before your big day—they'll treat you like kings and queens as you curate the wedding menu. We survived a tropical storm and surging COVID-19 delta variant cases on the day of our wedding with many last-minute changes and curveballs, but Temple Emanu-El was reliable and attentive the whole way through. The staff was present throughout the day and night of the wedding, offering their help with all sorts of tasks like filling the prep rooms with drinks and fixing bow-ties to moving furniture and setting up extra tables as needed. A class act.

We were treated like family the minute we walked through the door at Temple Emanu-El and all throughout the planning process. Les & Marty made all our dreams come true, like two proud Jewish uncles!! My husband and I didn't expect to choose a synagogue as our venue and kosher catering wasn't a requirement for our wedding, but the temple is THAT beautiful, the food is THAT delicious and service/hospitality is THAT incredible that we absolutely fell in love. It was without a doubt the best decision of our wedding!! Our family & friends are still raving about the stunning stained glass dome, the abundant and yummy food and the AMAZING high-end alcohol selection (Clase Azul, Johnny Blue, Woodford Reserve, Don Julio 42), which was included!! The shot bar inside the ballroom was the hit of night for sure. Marty, Les and the entire team at Northern Valley Affairs were super accommodating, responsive at all times (days, nights, weekends) and flexible beyond belief. They really made us feel like the most important bride & groom in the world -- even though they do this every weekend. Do yourself a favor and host your wedding at Temple Emanu-El ... your family & friends will thank you!! <3

Temple Emanu-El and the Northern Valley Affairs Team overdeliver in every aspect of the wedding experience. Les and Marty treated us like family each time we talked or met. We felt at home when we were at Temple Emanu-El, which was very comforting, especially on our wedding day. Along with the amazing service comes some of the best Kosher catering we have ever eaten. The variety and taste of the food with Northern Valley Affairs is unrivaled – hands down. Les and his team offer exciting flavors and combinations. From the Romanian Steak & Duck Cigars during the cocktail hour to Short Rib & Bronzino at dinner, Les worked with us to provide a one-of-a-kind menu from beginning to end. The drink options were also beyond expectation – as all the liquor was top shelf – from Johnny Walker Blue Label to Don Julio 1942. The venue itself is also gorgeous both inside and out. The synagogue has a beautiful aisle and is highlighted by a breathtaking dome ceiling. The cocktail hour flows inside and out into a very spacious, newly paved garden. The ballroom is immense and has a huge dance floor, which was very important to us for our party. There is also a beautiful wooded area along the driveway leading into the grounds – where we took some of our favorite wedding photos. We had the most amazing wedding at Temple Emanu-El and strongly recommend Northern Valley Affairs for your special day!

The first thing to say about Temple Emanu-El is how great it was working with Les and Marty. One of them was always available to chat or respond to any questions (even at odd hours) and you can tell they create a dynamic duo. If you were deciding between two food options for the cocktail hour, they would tell you to get both! Like any good Jewish parent, they always had food and drinks ready for us when we arrived for a visit and they made the whole process of choosing what we wanted simple. They made things easy, and when you have 1000 things going on for your wedding it was a real breath of fresh air to know there would be no drama with your venue. Les and Marty are incredibly flexible and an absolute pleasure to work with – they made everything easy. Our favorite story about our experience is our friends’ reactions to the wedding. We had many non-Jewish guests and when we told them that we would be having a Sunday afternoon wedding at a synagogue they did not have high expectations. They were blown away by the wedding when they arrived and are still talking about it 4 months later. They said that the venue looked like a country club, the food was unbelievable, the décor was tasteful, and they especially couldn’t stop talking about the fact that the liquor was of the highest quality (which is included, by the way!). When you see all that and pay 10+% less than a traditional “wedding venue” choosing Temple Emanu-El was the best possible choice we made for our wedding.

We are so happy we had the Wedding at Temple Emanu-El with Northern Valley Affairs for so many reasons. We are so grateful that they were willing to do a vegan wedding, and better than that, the food was outstanding and delicious. We continue to get rave reviews about the food! The facility is breathtakingly gorgeous, and everything was displayed beautifully. The planning of every detail was so organized from the very first meeting — we never had to worry about a thing. It is clear that Marty and Les know what they are doing, and we felt so confident working with them every step of the way. On the wedding day, you were also on top of all the moving pieces and directed us to the correct location at the correct time. They made everything run seamlessly! We also want to give a shoutout to Angela, who was a godsend in the midst of some chaos. Really recommend using Northern Valley Affairs!

My husband and I recently got married at this venue. We mostly dealt with Les during the process. He is one of the nicest people you could possibly work with. This caterer is more family/personable than they are business. They want to make you happy and the food is incredible. Richard, one of the head chefs who we met several times is amazing. I can't say enough kind things about Angela who is the bridal attendant. You can't get better than her. Our wedding was a dream come true. The place is beautiful and modern and they are extremely well organized and on top of everything with your event. Thank you Northern Valley Affairs. My husband and I couldn't be happier. We will be back to visit, I'm sure!

Everything about Temple Emanu El was fabulous! Marty and Les do a wonderful job, the food is incredible, the synagogue is beautiful and they truly made our wedding absolutely perfect! If you are thinking about Northern Valley Affairs, book them today!

Even if I were not a member of this Temple, I would want to have my wedding here. It's simply beautiful and the staff of Northern Valley Caterers did absolutely everything exactly as they said they would. The whole wedding was managed without a single flaw.
