d helpful on the weekend of our wedding. The service, food and venue were perfect.
- The venue coordinated effortlessly with both our photographer, DJ and cake vendor.
- The staff helped with set-up, tear-down, and most importantly provided amazing service to all our guests during our events.
- The food was amazing (we chose chicken marsala, braised beef and spring salad)! We received so many compliments about the meal afterwards.
- The bar service was so friendly and really kept the party going.
- The event space was less than a 10-minute drive to Polaris Parkway which provided ample hotels and convenient dining and entertainment for our out-of-town guests.
Overall, we couldn’t have had a better experience. My husband and I both agreed that having our reception here was one of our best wedding planning decisions.

Then during our prayer an employee came barging in yelling really loudly and it was so uncomfortable. They followed our food requests except there were red peppers in a dish that I specifically asked them not to do because I and my mother are allergic to them. Overall, it was 'pretty good'. The gorgeous grounds helped.

staff were just amazing. We had to change the Reception venue a little over a week before their Wedding and because our daughter and SIL were married there 2 years ago I knew from experience everything would go smoothly and just as they hoped & dreamed of. The setting is absolutely beautiful and NorthStar was able to set up a smaller indoor Reception dinner and an outdoor dance floor with lights on the outside patio with tables spread apart for those wishing to socially distance. Everyone at the Reception was commenting how beautiful the setting at NorthStar is from the moment you pull up, to the indoor Reception area to the outside patio that is breathtaking and picture perfect. ry simple but classy wedding with few people. We reviewed the Northstar wedding budget and we realized it was way above ours but we still gave it a shot. To my surprise, Alisha replied the same day and she was able to work with our budget and still get us all that we've ever dreamed of! We later got to work with Nate who also went out of his way to make the ceremony and reception exceptional! The planning and effort he put in was way above our expectation. He was with us all through and made sure our guests were okay and had everything they needed. Everybody was happy at the end and my husband and i also had our dream wedding!

They made everything easy- they would email me to remind me to set up times to meet to make decisions on things like food, decorations, etc. I dropped off my decorations the morning before the wedding and gave them a few instructions on my "vision" and they arranged everything so beautifully! Guests were making comments all night about how great everything. The bartenders were quick and efficient and the food was delicious! They even let us go over our intended end time (whoops!) and they let me pick up any decorations I had left the next day, so that we didn't have to worry about them the night of the wedding. They also saved us our leftover cake even though we didn't even ask them to! They were great all around.

Our day was perfect! We used the gazebo for the ceremony and had about 95 guests. So many family members and friends commented on how beautiful the wedding and location were and how good the food was. One aunt said that it was the best food she has ever eaten at a wedding. e event coordinator there) made the process streamlined and easy. From our first consultation, I could tell the reception would be in capable hands. She communicated promptly to any concerns I had. The food was amazing and multiple guests mentioned how much they enjoyed the food as well. The biggest blessing of the whole process was being able to drop off the decorations Friday afternoon and have Alisha and the staff at NorthStar set them up for us. When we arrived at the reception on Saturday afternoon, the room was more beautiful than even I imagined it would be! The evening of our reception was beautiful and our guests loved being able to enjoy the back deck and outdoor space as well as the indoor space. Overall, my experience with NorthStar was totally positive. I strongly recommend you consider it for your reception. You will thank yourself!

She patiently met with us, quickly responded to emails, answered our questions, etc... buffet for around 84 guests. We served chicken kiev, roast beef, salad, green beans and carrots, broccoli, mashed potatoes, and it came with rolls and butter. We also had a cocktail hour and had butler passed hors d'oeuvres that included meatballs, bruschetta, and salmon bites. We also opted to have a cheese and fruit display.
As far as the reception goes, one of the big reasons we chose NorthStar were the things included. Many venues we researched charged extra for tables, chairs, even dinnerware! At NorthStar, all these were included, and everything was set up beautifully. We dropped off our centerpieces, gift bags, guest book, programs, and various signage, and everything was set up for us. We also brought in donuts instead of cake, and they were displayed beautifully! We had ten kids at our wedding, some of whom are picky eaters, so we were able to order chicken tenders and fries (just in case they didn't like the "adult" food). We were also able to order a certain number of vegetarian meals for the few guests that requested that.
We also had our ceremony at NorthStar, and luckily the weather was amazing and we were able to have it outside at the gazebo as we had planned. We were able to decorate the gazebo earlier in the day, and NorthStar provides beautiful white chairs which were set up for us. The ceremony site is behind the club house, and we were worried my grandma wouldn't be able to navigate the stairs, so NorthStar generously let us use one of the golf carts to get her down to the ceremony, then back up to the reception. They also provided a room for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready; this was especially handy during the reception, as we could change shoes and freshen up if we needed to.
The person you will be working with the most is Alisha, and she is awesome! Since we live 3 1/2 hours from NorthStar, she graciously met with us on weekends to sign the contract and do our tasting. She was always prompt in answering our e-mails, gave us estimates of the different costs in a timely manner, and was always friendly and accommodating. After meeting with her the first time, we knew that we could come to her with any concerns or changes and they would be taken care of. NorthStar made everything so easy, we didn't have to worry about anything concerning our venue!

NorthStar Golf Club is an absolutely breathtaking venue for an outdoors wedding! We didn't even need to buy flowers as all were blooming around the area where the wedding was held....
The staff followed through with everything we asked plus took the lead with decorating areas in the reception room that we were unsure what to do. The food was delicious and hot! We received many compliments about how yummy it was. Definitely spend the extra $$ on butler passed appetizers, that added to the elegance and allowed everyone to socialize during cocktail hour. The bride and groom opted for donuts instead of cake, and the staff displayed them all perfectly. If you are looking for a venue and people to trust with your special day, this is it!

The food was exceptional! We upgraded to 3 main courses and 3 side dishes because we couldn't choose which we liked best.
The venue has such a beautiful view and everyone told us how wonderful it was to just relax outside on the patio. I definitely recommend checking this place out!! I looked at a lot of other places before this and am so glad we came across Northstar.
One of my favorite things was their craft beer selection. Columbus IPA is my favorite!!
The late night bites were a huge hit. The hot pretzels especially!!
Any issues we did come across I relayed to Alisha who did her best to work it out for me.
A few extremely rude golfers decided to walk down the aisle behind me and ruined quite a few photos...hopefully our photographer can edit them out.
This has been addressed and they are trying to come up with a better way to ensure this does not happen again in the future. This is not their fault, this was the fault of the golfers who disobeyed the signs and had no respect for us on our big day.
There was plenty of room for everything and we had a nice large dance floor:) All in all we had a wonderful time and would give 2 thumbs up and recommend them to anyone getting married that is looking for exceptional quality for a great price:)

of our events was exceptional as well as was all of the food. They were always timely in responsiveness to any and all questions/concerns. My wedding guests are still in awe of everything. They have commented it was one of the most beautiful weddings they've ever attended. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this venue for your needs.

to work with and was always available whenever I had questions or concerns. She really helped bring the vision I had for our wedding day to life. Not to mention, the food at North Star was delicious! Getting married at a country club is never "cheap," but North Star was actually relatively affordable considering the services we received. Since the wedding, we have received multiple compliments about the service, food and location. Beyond pleased with our experience and loved every second of our wedding day!

e is beautiful both inside and out. It rained on our wedding day so we were unable to have our ceremony outside, but Alisha and her team made sure the inside was just as beautiful. The food was delicious and we had many compliments from our guests. I highly recommend any bride and groom to choose NorthStar for their special day!

y husband & I loved the venue from the moment we walked in, but were not sure if it was in our budget. Alisha worked with us and helped us see that everything we wanted could be possible! We expected about 200 people ended with around 170 guests. We had our rehearsal, ceremony & reception all at NorthStar. Our wedding party & guests all loved the fact that we were able to have everything at one place. We did the buffet with open bar for the rehearsal & beer/wine & family style for the reception, both were raved about by our guests. Alisha made everything so easy, she allowed us to visit the location many times to plan & stayed in touch with ideas and changes through the whole process. I feel like our wedding could not have come out as perfect as it did at any other location & can not say enough great things about NorthStar & their staff! If you are getting married you should truly consider them!
