my wedding day went smoothly and on time. The photos I received were top of the line! I couldn't be happier. I loved how John and Cheryl combined different styles of beautiful classic portraiture and an innovative style of photo journalism. We just received our album, and it looks incredible. The design is so original and exactly what Jacob and I wanted. I have gotten so many compliments on my album and photographs, I refer everyone I know to Northstar Photography & Design. I know I will be using them to photograph our family photos for years to come!!

Despite me taking forever to pick them up, I was able to relieve all over my wedding day through photos, and they are absolutely beautiful! There is soooo much going on the day of your actual wedding, I am beyond thankful that I knew that I did not need to worry at all about my pictures. They were so fast with getting our proofs to us, and patient with us as we took our time choosing =]. We received our BEAUTIFUL album and prints so quickly! I absolutely LOVEEE all of our pictures! John and Cheryl were so easy to work with. I immediately felt comfortable talking with them and expressing to them what I wanted from our photographer. They respected my budget and never pushed me into purchasing something I did not want. You must go with Northstar Photography & Design!!! With John & Cheryl you seriously cannot go wrong.

They were very adaptable--shooting in unique settings like our downtown streets, an old-fashioned ice cream store, a historical farm, and the golf course were our reception took place. John was a true professional and knew how to get my groomsmen to smile and the Father presiding over our ceremony to feel comfortable with the presence of the camera in the church. Cheryl was also amazing to work with. She spent time with me and my bridal party preparing in the bride’s room at the church. It was nice to have a woman photographer present. She even helped with a last minute hair malfunction before my dad came to walk me down the aisle! Overall, Northstar added to our special day and gave us the images we most wanted to remember!

, but they knew *exactly* what they were doing - something you just can't be sure about with other photographers. They were consistently professional, reliable, and personable. We valued friendliness and flexibility just as much as high quality of product in choosing a photographer and we got more than what we paid for. Now John and Cheryl are new friends of ours and we are glad to have them be apart of our special memories.
