The professional team at this business is available to work on-site, so you can get ready for your big day wherever you're most comfortable. They are happy to travel to clients across Philadelphia, Bucks County, Chester County, and Delaware County, as well as Maryland, New Jersey, and Delaware.
Not Your Average Bella specializes in bespoke beauty looks that help clients bring their wedding day dream to life. Owner Macey Much has always been passionate about hairstyling and discovered her love of makeup by working as a freelance stylist. In the past, she has worked at New York Fashion Week and has also been featured in several publications. Macey believes in staying up to date with the newest products and trends and regularly attends training sessions.
Not Your Average Bella begins work with a consultation. Here, you can talk to Macey or her team about any ideas you have for your wedding day hair and makeup. To make sure you're happy with the final product, you're invited to attend hair and makeup trials. Some of the beauty services you can choose from include airbrush makeup, false eyelashes, blowouts, updos, and braids. The team is happy to extend their services to the wedding party, too.

Macey’s team was able to do all 9 of my peoples hair in the time they were previously going to do 5 peoples hair. In terms of makeup, Macey did a great job! She did the makeup trial beforehand and took my notes for the actual wedding day. I felt very beautiful on my wedding day and what could have been a very stressful situation was handled by Macey and team, which really helped.

I changed my mind about my hair several times at both the trial and the morning of my wedding and Brandi patiently helped me along until I finally felt like my hair looked EXACTLY as I wanted it to look. Same thing with makeup…I changed my mind about some of the coloring after the trial took place and Macey, without hesitation, changed it up the morning of my wedding. Again, it came out EXACTLY how I wanted. I truly felt like a beautiful and glowing bride on my wedding day and I have Macey and Brandi’s patience to thank for that. I have nothing but good things to say about the finished product. All of the ladies were super happy with the way their hair and makeup came out, even a couple people who were a bit nervous to get their makeup done to start off. Everyone felt like their makeup was natural, but felt the best version of themselves! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for hair/makeup services.

Being a COVID bride brought a ton of stress and they transferred my date with no problems. Macey brought Gina and Kelsey on my wedding day. The whole team did a beautiful job. My wedding was supposed to be October of 2020. Because of COVID-19, it got rescheduled to October of 2021. Macey and Gina went to the moon and back to make sure I stopped stressing and they were able to accommodate my new date. As a Covid bride, everything has been super stressful. Originally I was not going to have my make up done because I don’t wear much makeup up and did not want to look different on my wedding day.
