They are happy to travel to clients across Philadelphia, Bucks County, Chester County, and Delaware County, as well as Maryland, New Jersey, and Delaware.
Not Your Average Bella specializes in bespoke beauty looks that help clients bring their wedding day dream to life. Owner Macey Much has always been passionate about hairstyling and discovered her love of makeup by working as a freelance stylist. In the past, she has worked at New York Fashion Week and has also been featured in several publications. Macey believes in staying up to date with the newest products and trends and regularly attends training sessions.
Not Your Average Bella begins work with a consultation. Here, you can talk to Macey or her team about any ideas you have for your wedding day hair and makeup. To make sure you're happy with the final product, you're invited to attend hair and makeup trials. Some of the beauty services you can choose from include airbrush makeup, false eyelashes, blowouts, updos, and braids. The team is happy to extend their services to the wedding party, too.

It was a so seamless working with Not your average Bella from start to finish. Gina was so sweet and easy to communicate with. She sent out super detailed emails with instructions ...
for the trial, leading up to my wedding day, and then my wedding day. I barely had to think. My hair and makeup was done exactly how I envisioned!! Macey and Jenna did and amazing job. My bridesmaids received so many compliments too. I can’t wait to use them in the future. Look no further, you found your dream team!
Macey and team were so helpful throughout the process and saved my wedding day! I was supposed to have a family friend do some of the girls hair for the wedding, but the night befo...
re the wedding she called me and said she was exposed to COVID and couldn’t do their hair anymore. Macey’s team was able to do all 9 of my peoples hair in the time they were previously going to do 5 peoples hair. In terms of makeup, Macey did a great job! She did the makeup trial beforehand and took my notes for the actual wedding day. I felt very beautiful on my wedding day and what could have been a very stressful situation was handled by Macey and team, which really helped.
NYAB was an amazing glam squad for my wedding day. All of my girls looked AMAZING for both hair and makeup. They were timely and really listened to feedback from my trial/day-of ad...
justments. Side note, I definitely recommend having a third HMUA, which you can add on to your contract with NYAB, if you have a large bridal party - this definitely saved my timeline (we had 8 bridesmaids, 3 moms, and grandmother all getting hair, about half with makeup).
Macy is not only an amazing makeup artist, but also just so friendly and fun to work with. She brought my vision to life masterfully and made me feel so comfortable and confident. ...
Alex did my hair and nailed it! She took her time to get it perfect and I couldn't be more appreciative. I highly recommend choosing Not Your Average Bella- they are fantastic!!!

py with their makeup. The team is very professional and goes above and beyond for the bride and her bridal party. Gina is quick is to respond to all emails. Macy provides skin care tips and recommendations to help prep for the big day. I appreciate NYAB making me look and feel beautiful.
First of all, I am absolutely a fan of on-site bridal services for hair and makeup. It’s such a relaxing way to start the day for the bridesmaids who can hang out in pajamas, sip s...
ome coffee and mimosas, etc. Second, I need to give a major shoutout to Macey and Brandi. I changed my mind about my hair several times at both the trial and the morning of my wedding and Brandi patiently helped me along until I finally felt like my hair looked EXACTLY as I wanted it to look. Same thing with makeup…I changed my mind about some of the coloring after the trial took place and Macey, without hesitation, changed it up the morning of my wedding. Again, it came out EXACTLY how I wanted. I truly felt like a beautiful and glowing bride on my wedding day and I have Macey and Brandi’s patience to thank for that. They were accompanied by Allie on my wedding morning who worked with a lot of my bridesmaids and they all LOVED her energy and talent. I cannot recommend Not Your Average Bella enough!
Not Your Average Bella provided hair and makeup services for my wedding on 4/24/2021. Not your Average Bella came to our hotel in the morning as we got ready and had all 8 of us (...
bride, moms, and bridesmaids) us all dolled up right on time!
I have nothing but good things to say about the finished product. All of the ladies were super happy with the way their hair and makeup came out, even a couple people who were a bit nervous to get their makeup done to start off. Everyone felt like their makeup was natural, but felt the best version of themselves! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for hair/makeup services.
Macey and her team were AMAZING!! I cannot recommend them highly enough. We hired Not Your Average Bella do to the hair and makeup for my sister's wedding and they did not disappoi...
nt. First, Macey and her manager Gina were so communicative -I never felt like I had to follow up or was left waiting for a response. When COVID hit and my sister had to change her wedding date, Macey was so understanding and made it work to still do the rescheduled date. On the day of the wedding, Macey and her team, Brandi and Mary, came all ready to do everyone's hair and makeup, tailoring the experience to each girls' preference! SO happy with the job they did and would 100% recommend them!!

ver and over again and everything was SO easy from booking to communication. Macey came over and was so prepared and mindful of Covid guidelines the entire time. Not only was my hair and makeup flawless, it also remained impeccable for the entire day! I felt like a glamorous movie star and could not have been happier. I look forward to working with NYAB for future events in my life.

They were a great fit. The communication was amazing, the flexibility, convenience, and their products. Gina made planning very stress free. Being a COVID bride brought a ton of stress and they transferred my date with no problems. Macey brought Gina and Kelsey on my wedding day. The whole team did a beautiful job. They ended up completing early. ALL of our hair and makeup stayed the whole night without any issues.
I highly recommend Macey, Gina, Kelsey, and any Not Your Average Bell team member!!!

e makeup they did on me and my friends. It was natural and we still felt like ourselves. I loved them so much I decided to hire them for my wedding.
My wedding was supposed to be October of 2020. Because of COVID-19, it got rescheduled to October of 2021. Macey and Gina went to the moon and back to make sure I stopped stressing and they were able to accommodate my new date. As a Covid bride, everything has been super stressful. NYAB is the only vendor that was empathetic and accommodating, I can not wait for them to be apart of my new wedding date!!
All of the girls loved their hair & makeup. The convenience of having someone(s) come to your house is worth it so you’re not worried about rushing around on your wedding day.

rful makeup artist and so good at her craft. Her team made me look like a princess while also making me still look like myself. Macey worked with me since my wedding trial to create a beautiful look and people are still talking about how gorgeous I was even a month after the event. And her whole staff was so kind and accommodating! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Not Your Average Bella did an amazing job on my wedding day! I scheduled them 3 months prior to my wedding and they were able to be flexible with timing the morning of. Jenna made...
my hair look beautiful. I have very thick hair which does not hold curl well... or so I thought. Jenna confidently curled my long hair and it stayed in the whole day. Originally I was not going to have my make up done because I don’t wear much makeup up and did not want to look different on my wedding day. However after talking to Macey she reassured me she could give me a natural look that would be perfect for photographs all day long. I was so impressed with the airbrush and how she did my eye makeup! Such a good decision. I felt beautiful on my day. Inviting Jenna and Macey into my home was such a calm and relaxing way to start my wedding morning. They fit right in and it was very comfortable. They are great!
AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING.
Macey was referred to us by a friend who had also used Not Your Average Bella for her wedding. Macey listened to me and truly brought my vision to life....
I had never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. I will be singing Macey's praises to anyone willing to listen.
