Not Your Average Party Band

Not Your Average Band is everything I ever wanted for our wedding reception. They have an extensive play list and really "read the room" for song selections. We wanted to have an above Average Party gave us just that! Our reception was SO much fun and so many guests gave us compliments on the band. We were all sore the next day from dancing the whole night with hoarse voices from singing every word! Would hire them again!

OH MY GOD, where do I begin??? Not Your Average Party Band came highly recommended by my wedding planner and I am SO glad we went with her rec. My friends and family were and still are raving about the band! They were amazing and the manager, Danny, is so responsive and helpful throughout the entire booking/planning process! They are SO organized and well run and the music was great--our guests were on the dance floor the whole night! We had such a blast at our April 2024 wedding. Thank you, Not Your Average, for making it amazing!

The Players with Not Your Average Party Band created an UNBELIEVABLE atmosphere for our environment. If we could leave 10 stars, we would. From the start of the relationship to the end of our wedding, they were professional, available, flexible, and all-around amazing. They worked with us to carefully create a playlist and energy we wanted: They learned new songs and performed them perfectly. They played all the songs we requested. And they totally nailed the vibe that we were going for. Every time someone has talked about our wedding, they have mentioned Not Your Average Party Band. They are the best wedding band out there.

HOLY COW!!!!! This band is anything BUT average!!!!! They brought the party to our wedding that's for sure. We received so many compliments on how "epic" they were and how much fun our guests had. Our dance floor was overflowing the entire night and the band did some great crowd work to keep guests involved and having a good time.

Not Your Average Party Band played at our wedding on March 16th, and they were one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Danny coordinated with us before the wedding and answered all of our questions that we had. He was AMAZING at coordinating and making sure we were aligned! We requested mainly Motown music, and guests of all ages came up to us and raved about how it was the best wedding band with the best music. We had the best time of our lives celebrating with NYAPB! They kept the crowd going all night long and were amazing performers and entertainers. If you book any band for your wedding - book NYAPB!!!!

NYAPB knows how to throw one heck of a party!!!!! They brought down the house. The band was super easy to work with, traveled states to come to the wedding, and captured what we were looking for in a wedding band to a tee. Danny was also so easy to work with! 10/10.

Trust the process with this band. They are a collective! You pick how many pieces band, you pick your song lists from their sheet and or send them Spotify playlists and they show up day of so prepared, bringing the energy, Emceeing like there is no tomorrow. We had the best time with them. Their sound was amazing and our guests absolutely loved them!!!! Would hire them again (in fact my brother hired them for his wedding next year)! There were literally songs that I had to look over because I thought they were the recording, the singer was that amazing and they were interactive. They really made our wedding day come together and worked so well with our wedding planner and venue space. So honored they are a part of our memories on our special day.

We were a bit hesitant to spend this much money on a band we never saw them perform live, but they are FABULOUS! They have definitely done weddings before and they know how to accommodate your needs. Our attendees loved them and everyone was dancing. It was definitely not your average experience.

Definitely book this band! We had the 8-piece band for our intimate wedding, and it was such a vibe. The singers were excellent, and they along with the musicians, really set the tone for a beautiful reception. They were also easy to work with and dependable

I saw Not Your Average Party Band at a friends wedding in Newnan last September. They were incredible. Song selection, musicianship, and the ability to keep the dance floor going are second to none! Best wedding band in the city. Can’t recommend them enough!!

NYAPB was INCREDIBLE!! We used them for our wedding on 4/22/23 in Vincent, Alabama. They played for the ceremony and reception and they killed it! They made our reception the party of a lifetime! Everyone raved about them all night and after the wedding. We had a great experience with them. The vocalist was wonderful!! The entire band did a fantastic job and I am so glad we booked them! I highly recommend because they will definitely make your party!

What an amazing experience! NYAPB was the BEST wedding band we could have ever asked for. While we never saw them live before our wedding night, we took a risk and booked them based the recommendation of our wedding planner. Needless to say, everyone was blown away. Here's what stood out: 1) Amazing energy and music: They have a diverse array of playlist/songs they offer, and got our no-play list ahead of time and also focused on the genre of the songs we really liked. They learned a Michael Jackson and Jason Derulo song for us that was amazing! They did a great job reading the crowd and kept our guests dancing all night long. THEY LITERALLY DIDN'T TAKE A BREAK FOR 2 HOURS. This allowed for a seamless live music experience during the whole reception. They had choreographed dances, and lights that enhanced the show. I've had at least 4-5 people ask us for the contact info of the band as they are interested in booking the band for their own wedding/event! 2) Communication: Danny is the band Lead director and liaison that I communicated with leading up to the big day. He was incredibly prompt with emails and answered any and all of my questions. They helped outline a timeline for the reception, and it flowed absolutely perfectly without any hiccups or issues. 3) Affordability: For the quality of the band, I was amazed at the price. They were very competitive with bands of the same size in the midwest/southeast (I live in Nashville, TN, and wedding was in Atlanta). They were worth every penny! All in all, my husband and I would highly recommend NYAPB the anyone considering a fun, high energy wedding band that will keep the party going all night long!

Not Your Average Party Band was the BEST decision I have ever made for my wedding reception! Their performance completely elevated our entire reception experience! They took a basic wedding reception to an absolute party the second they stepped on stage! Their music selection was large and they played all the best dance tunes! The horn section was absolutely AMAZING! That female vocalist danced and sang their absolute hearts out! Leading up to my reception I communicated often with Michael. Kim was very thorough, she made sure she knew exactly what I wanted and expected! I cannot say enough positive words about this band. I will recommending Not Your Average Party Band to every couple!

Brother of the Bride Everything about NYAPB is AMAZING! They were prompt, courteous, professional and sounded phenomenal! The singers... were on point from the go. The entire experience from the set up to the show was seamless. Once the band got started...it was a wrap. They kept the party going until the very end mixing old school and new school music into their playlist. I highly recommend them for any and all wedding or social events!

Our reception wouldn't have been close to what it was without, "Not Your Average Party band". They were so great to work with before the wedding and we didn't have to worry about a thing on our big day. They played music that everyone liked and got the party started right away. Such a fun time thanks to Not Your Average Party Band! Literally lit up the dance floor, even danced with us multiple times, played the BEST songs, and transitioned into songs so well with so much fun and hype!!! So much energy to keep the room engaged and partying!!

Everyone came up to us saying how much they loved the band and were so impressed at how easily the group was able to transition from the oldies to the goodies and back again to make sure there was a little something for guests of all ages. The venue staff, our day of coordinators, and photographers were all blown away too!

Literally we were on the dance floor the entire night - this band is exciting, fresh and has amazing vocals and musical talent. It's not your average wedding band - we had soo.... many compliments - many saying it was the best wedding band they too had seen.

3 weeks before my wedding, I received an email that my band was no longer together and would not be at the wedding.. I was crushed but it turned out to be the BEST news because Not Your Average Party Band was AMAZING!!! I am so happy I was able to find them. They really were the life of the party at my wedding. They were on the dance floor in the crowd with everyone, brought me and my husband on stage, and made us feel included in the whole process. They were so accommodating and fun! I cannot recommend them enough! Everyone at the wedding cannot stop talking about how fun they were! They truly are not your average band- they are way more! Thank you guys so much!!!

Oh my goodness, I literally cannot recommend Not Your Average Party Band highly enough!! I took a gamble booking them as I hadn’t seen them in person before our wedding but they were hands down the best decision we made!

NYAPB performed at our wedding in addition to emceeing the reception and providing basic DJ services for ceremony & first dance music. First of all - they put on what was easily the best wedding reception music I have ever heard. The performances were great and were complimented by the setlist, which was made by a combination of songs we provided and playing to the room. The band sounded great and they were totally professional throughout the booking process. They were also significantly cheaper than comparable acts, so a great value too. Multiple guests have told us since the wedding how much they loved the music. I would strongly recommend having NYAPB play your wedding

I can not say enough great things about Not Your Average Party Band! They have such a great sound and an energetic vibe. Our guest danced nonstop the entire evening and raved about the band. The crew were extremely professional and easy to work with. Not Your Average Party Band helped to make my daughter’s wedding an event to remember my friends are sill talking about it at out cook out this weekend.

Not Your Average Party Band blew all of our expectations out of the water. We booked them for our wedding on 5/27/22 without ever hearing them play live and they did not disappoint. They are an amazing band and kept the party on the dance floor. Our guests absolutely loved them. We received too many compliments to keep track of regarding their performance. We would 100% use them again.
