Not Your Granny’s Florist, formerly known as P.A. Reavis Designs, has produced thousands of amazing and unique floral arrangements for weddings, events, photo shoots, and more. It is Charlotte’s best floral and decor design for weddings and events and has been for almost 25 years. The name change to “Not Your Granny’s Florist” came because it better reflects all the diverse work we do. Our team handles so many different types of decor and design and we make sure to keep up with all the latest trends that we aren’t your typical florist. We won’t give you an arrangement that has been done before – each one is designed for you. Our arrangements have been enjoyed by brides, grooms, businesses and stars like Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Motley Cru, and Michael Jordan (for the full list, see our website!). If we can source our materials locally that is what we do. From farm to table is something we truly believe in.

We had a wonderful experience with Annette for our November wedding. We had our florist back out last minute and Annette was so kind and accommodating to swoop in and save the day! The floral arrangements were absolutely exquisite and my bridal bouquet was the one of my dreams! Professional, fair pricing, kind, and FLEXIBLE!! Absolutely would recommend!

The arrangements that Annette designed and created were mind blowing! They were one of my most favorite parts of our wedding. She created the atmosphere we had imagined. She is easy to work with, listened to our ideas, and she and her team rocked it! You don’t need to look any further. Just hire her. You won’t be disappointed.

We can't thank Annette enough for our AMAZING flowers and decor! It only took a few conversations and some photos we had found for inspiration, but Annette delivered exactly what we were looking for. We had a vision in mind and honestly, Annette greatly exceeded what we had envisioned. Between the ceremony decor, the centerpieces, the candles, and the bouquets we couldn't have asked for a more perfect set up. Thank you so much!

Annette was so easy to work with! She captured my vision for the flowers for my wedding so perfectly! I was feeling so anxious and nervous about my wedding as a whole and her talents put me at ease. Everyone was complimenting the beautiful flowers all night. Her crew was so nice and efficient! Book them - you won’t be disappointed!!

Unfortunately I did not know Annette when I got married but she did all the flowers at my husbands grandmothers funeral. Words cannot describe how beautiful all of the arrangements were and the casket spray was jaw dropping gorgeous. Annette was so amazing she made such a hard situation easy. Such a kind beautiful talented person.

ANNETTE IS THE BEST! I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding day and it was accented with her gorgeous flowers that she used on tables, cake, bouquets, and ceremony site. Her professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness and desire to listen to each bride's vision is truly unique. She was able to make my vision come true exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price. Everything for our wedding was perfect, and we are so thankful that we hired Annette as our florist!!!

Annette was a pleasure to work with. The flowers for our wedding were beautiful. We had a little situation where we had 2 extra tables at the reception and I had forgotten to give her the new number, but she made it work and it all came together wonderfully. Additionally, I was lucky to have such dedicated vendors who were willing to drive in the freak snow storm we had on our wedding weekend. Working with dedicated people like Annette really makes things less stressful. I would use her again for a future event.

We used P.A Reavis for our 9-17 wedding. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and simply put she did better then that. I absolutely loved my flowers! She worked with me on a very short schedule for setup the day of the wedding and did an outstanding job. Anytime that I can use Annette again I absolutely will and I highly recommend her!

We used P. A. Reavis Designs as our florist for our daughter's wedding. Although the flowers provided looked beautiful, she failed to give us what we paid for. There should have been flowers in large lanterns at the sweetheart table. She did not provide them. The flowers for the mothers & grandmothers were not configured properly, the floral design for the arbor at the ceremony was not what we asked for. Her excuse was that the columns were too wide. She had a picture of the arbor to go by. The flowers for the wedding cake were all wrong & there was a photo provided as well. When I confronted her about these mistake, all I got were excuses & Annette was very rude. Three weeks after my daughter's wedding I am still waiting for reimbursement for the missing flowers.

Going into the florist experience, I was nervous because I know next to nothing about flowers. I showed Annette a few pictures that I liked, and left the rest up to her. The results were beyond amazing! She not only met but completely exceeded all of my expectations! The arbor looked breathtaking, and the reception space was better than I had pictured it ever being. She is just an absolute artist with flora!
