About this vendor
Not Your Granny’s Florist, formerly known as P.A. Reavis Designs, has produced thousands of amazing and unique floral arrangements for weddings, events, photo shoots, and more. It is Charlotte’s best floral and decor design for weddings and events and has been for almost 25 years.
The name change to “Not Your Granny’s Florist” came because it better reflects all the diverse work we do. Our team handles so many different types of decor and design and we make sure to keep up with all the latest trends that we aren’t your typical florist. We won’t give you an arrangement that has been done before – each one is designed for you.
Our arrangements have been enjoyed by brides, grooms, businesses and stars like Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Motley Cru, and Michael Jordan (for the full list, see our website!). If we can source our materials locally that is what we do. From farm to table is something we truly believe in.

to life even more beautifully than we imagined. The arrangements were breathtaking—fresh, vibrant, and artfully designed. Our bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony florals all tied together seamlessly and created the most romantic atmosphere.
On top of their incredible talent, her team was so kind, professional, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. She made everything stress-free, communicated promptly, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect on our wedding day.
So many of our guests complimented the flowers, and we’re still in awe when looking back at our photos. Truly a dream florist—we cannot recommend her and her team enough!!!

was very willing to work with us and add things on last minute when my then fiance (now husband) decided he wanted boutonnieres last minute :) My bouquet was STUNNING! It was exactly what I had envisioned. Our day did not go as planned with the weather and Annette and her team were very understanding and willing to wait around for an hour for the rain plan to be decided. Overall 12/10, you should absolutely hire her!

Annette was a pleasure to work with. The flowers for our wedding were beautiful. We had a little situation where we had 2 extra tables at the reception and I had forgotten to give ...
her the new number, but she made it work and it all came together wonderfully. Additionally, I was lucky to have such dedicated vendors who were willing to drive in the freak snow storm we had on our wedding weekend. Working with dedicated people like Annette really makes things less stressful. I would use her again for a future event.

We used P. A. Reavis Designs as our florist for our daughter's wedding. Although the flowers provided looked beautiful, she failed to give us what we paid for. There should have ...
been flowers in large lanterns at the sweetheart table. She did not provide them. The flowers for the mothers & grandmothers were not configured properly, the floral design for the arbor at the ceremony was not what we asked for. Her excuse was that the columns were too wide. She had a picture of the arbor to go by. The flowers for the wedding cake were all wrong & there was a photo provided as well. When I confronted her about these mistake, all I got were excuses & Annette was very rude. Three weeks after my daughter's wedding I am still waiting for reimbursement for the missing flowers.
Going into the florist experience, I was nervous because I know next to nothing about flowers. I showed Annette a few pictures that I liked, and left the rest up to her. The result...
