Since 2007, he has performed in front of many thousands of people, in hundreds of engagements, for events as varied as festivals, marathons, weddings, corporate events, and everything in between. After receiving his MBA & Bachelors of Business Management, Joe realized a need for awesome, fun, and professional DJs who are flexible enough to bring the party or provide the ambience. Casey Vann is THE GOAT! A true professional all the way. He was super helpful in the planning process. He helped a couple that was not really sure of the best ways for things to flow, by stating what he thought was best from his experience. He’s got an even keeled manner about him in the planning process that just made it feel like we were in great hands. When it came to being an MC and DJ on the day of he was awesome. He was at the venue early setting up in both the ceremony area and reception area. He was able to answer any questions we had day of. He took control of the room perfectly and helped to moderate speeches and entrances. Lastly, he knows how to get the party going and keep it going. He had a wide range of music to play that kept all parties (grandparents, parents, young kids, 20somethings) rocking and rolling all night. Because of his music selections the dance floor was electric all night long. He played the songs to the perfect length before mixing them out for the next song and they all flowed perfectly. CASEY IS THE GOAT.

Joe was the best DJ and Janice was an amazing Photo Booth attendant! They both brought the energy to our wedding day. Joe helped us envision a couple of specific scenarios we wanted - like an environment for the bride to crowd surf - and they kept the dance floor packed the entire time (whether the bride and groom were around or not!) It's hard to book a DJ from out-of-state, without ever having the opportunity to experience them personally, but I read the reviews of Noteworthy and of Joe, in particular, and decided to book them straight away. When we spoke with Joe the week before the wedding, I knew we had made the right choice. It was so well executed from pre-ceremony through the end of the reception. And the lighting equipment they brought really changed the game - the whole atmosphere instantly went into party mode. Lastly, we were able to customize our Photo Booth sheet print outs with our wedding logo and they came out perfectly! The attention to detail, the level of dedication from the team, and the energy and joy they brought along, all fed into one perfect evening!

Joe was absolutely incredible! He knew exactly the vibe my husband and I were going for throughout the entire evening. He knew when it was time to take it up another level for the dance floor which helped our reception become the celebration we dreamed it would be. We also used their photo booth which was so much fun, and we were able to customize the printouts. I would absolutely recommend Noteworthy DJs for any celebration.

We had the absolute best time working with Matt! He clearly enjoys his job and did a wonderful job meeting all our needs and expectations on our big day. We kept getting compliments from guests that it was the first ceremony they could actually hear the vows and anyone holding a mic. Plus he played not only our favorite music but anything we let him have creative freedom over music wise was top notch! If you’re looking for a dj who is personable, knows what they are doing, and makes it fun for all…hire Matt! He is your guy and he contributed heavily to us having the best day! We also loved having Joe on board! He was so patient and kind to all our guests whether they were rowdy, unsure how it all worked, or little ones trying to snag the props. We were unsure how a Photo Booth would do at our wedding but clearly we were wrong because it was an absolute hit. Joe thank you for all your support and hard work. We were so lucky to have found Noteworthy DJs. We had a last minute change in our plans with a previous DJ and Noteworthy was willing and able to step in. Rodney was absolutely FANTASTIC. He was a wonderful MC and had great attention to detail. He made sure my husband was able to hear music that he enjoyed whilst still playing all of my own song requests. Casey DJ'd our wedding at Mt. Hood Skibowl and was excellent! Prior to our wedding day, Casey went above and beyond to make sure our first dance song was edited to perfection. He also called us on multiple occasions leading up to the wedding to ensure he was creating playlists that exceeded our expectations. On the wedding day, he was friendly and outgoing, making sure to chat with us and make announcements when we were ready for them. Most importantly, Casey kept ALL our guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. Our guests had so much fun and partied all night long. The day after our wedding, one of our guests even asked us to send him a playlist of the music Casey played because it was SO GOOD!!! We definitely recommend Casey, especially if you are having a wedding at Mt. Hood Skibowl. The venue has so many logistics for vendors, and we didn't have to worry about any of the logistics because Casey had it covered!

Working with Noteworthy DJs was a pleasure! We had Johnny Zee and he was fantastic. Every part of the experience was positive and professional. He walked us through every step of the DJ process with detail and precision and really helped us feel at ease on the day of the wedding. He also was really good on his feet, playing certain songs to fit the mood and was great communicating with the entire venue. The photobooth was awesome as well and all of our guests interacted with it. I would 100% recommend the DJ service and the photobooth for your wedding and we couldn't have been happier.

Great song choices. Casey was friendly and flexible. Howevere, he only played half of a song before moving on to another song. It was jarring. And the first dance and father-daughter dance songs were not edited correctly.

DJ Hill was wonderful- perfect mix of hype and silly. She wore a green velvet jumper with her green hair, a rockstar vibe added to the party! She rolled with the inevitable changes to schedule and tech snags all while teaching a new hire shadowing her. We had several conversations before the wedding day and I especially appreciated that she asked me questions about timing, song choices, and people involved in the wedding that I hadn’t even thought about, let alone filling her in! She made everything go as smoothly as possible- even my planner, venue coordinator, and officiant thought so too. I’d hire her again in a second!

We had the pleasure of having Johnny Zee as our DJ and MC at our wedding on September 29th, 2023. We had last minute changes due to rain and Johnny was flexible and made the day run smoothly. He was available via text/all leading up to the big day. Noteworthy offers an online portal where you can upload timeline, playlists, etc. This was very helpful and user-friendly and I even uploaded a few playlists of my own which was a lot of fun!! The energy Johnny brought to our big day was so fun and you could tell that he enjoys working in this industry. Johnny MC’d the full day which helped things flow during ceremony and during reception but he also brought the party on the dance floor!!

My fiancé and I had a destination wedding at Crystal Mountain Resort in Washington state. We live on the east coast, so sourcing vendors was a huge challenge. We spoke with a handful of DJs and came across Noteworthy DJs. Joe Ebner was our initial point of contact. He was personable and great to speak with, and made us feel at ease about booking another vendor across the country. Noteworthy DJ’s online portal and questionnaire were fantastic. I live for spreadsheets, organizations, and questionnaires. Their prompts helped us cross everything off the list - for example, I never would have thought of a ‘do not play’ list until they brought it up! We were assigned Justin Fetsko as our DJ. Justin showed up on-time and did his best in challenging circumstances (literally in the 5 mins before the ceremony began, clouds and wind rolled into our venue and caused severe interference with our mics). We got compliments all night long about our music playlist. There wasn’t a single hitch with speeches or our dances. He helped announce key moments at all the right times and worked with us up to the final hours to make updates to announcements. Plus, he helped get the crowd hyped during a dance-off towards the end! We are so happy, and so grateful he was there with us!

Noteworthy DJs was great to work with. Their website made planning really easy – we could directly connect to our Spotify playlists and choose the design of our photobooth prints. Our DJ Johnny was excellent. He really looked through our playlists and clearly understood the vibe we were going for, and he did a great job keeping the event moving throughout the evening. I am so glad my husband and I hired Noteworthy DJ's and Photo Booths for our wedding! It was a great experience from start to finish. Joe was very easy to work with, communicative and professional. It was easy for us to add on extras we needed like up lighting, the photo booth or extra time (which you need more of on your wedding day)! Noteworthy paid attention to every detail. I really felt like the experience was customized to fit our wedding and all our needs were met. Also, big shout out to Kim! Kim ran the photo booth for our wedding and our guests LOVED her. After reading the multiple raving reviews for Noteworthy DJs, my husband and I were convinced it was who we wanted to be part of our big day. Unfortunately, I don't think we ended up being matched with a good fit. Communication was spotty and there were quite a bit of misunderstandings. Songs were not cued up correctly, with our first song dance being mistakenly played at the beginning of every formal dance, wrong time stamps being used, and not reading the room very well resulting in needing to ask our DJ three times to change the song with the dancefloor clearing. It wasn't until the end that the must-play list was actually used so there was some salvaging of it. Overall I think the service provided is what was in the package and our wedding was made fun by all of our guests, but I do think its important to better match couples to the right DJ.

We used Noteworthy DJ for our wedding in August and we cannot say enough good things about them. Leading up to the wedding there was frequent communication, as well as multiple scheduled phone calls to discuss our vision/needs for our special day. Joe was great and answered all of our questions. We found their online planning tool to be very user friendly and helpful. Our DJ Johnny Zee did a wonderful job not only with music, but with announcements which helped keep the day on schedule. Transitions were seamless and his energy really helped get people on the dance floor! We also decided to go with a photobooth which was a HUGE hit with our guests. One of our favorite things is looking at the digital copies of all the hilarious photos that we did not get a chance to see during the night. These are super special memories, and our guests were overjoyed to get to take the printouts home with them without having to pay anything extra. Not to mention the fun props! We would highly recommend Noteworthy DJ for any event. The professionalism, communication, and up-front pricing made this the perfect choice for us and it helped make our wedding even more special.

Joe was great throughout the process, very kind and easy to communicate with. We chose one of the DJ packages, but we were able to customize it to best suit our needs. We were also able to make adjustments throughout the process, adding a satellite sound system much later after touring our venue again. The online tools were easy to use and helped keep everything very organized. I liked that you could upload playlists or the link to specific songs so that there was no confusion about which version, etc. Joe called us about a week before our wedding just to talk through details and ensure there were no lingering questions. Our day went incredibly smoothly. Joe kept everything according to timeline and I didn't have to worry about anything. Joe cued up songs for the ceremony seamlessly, starting them at the time stamp we specified and fading out into the next song without awkward breaks. We didn't give much direction in terms of music at the reception, but Joe did a great job at reading the room and playing music that seemed to be resonating with people on the dance floor. We had Spencer as our photo booth attendant. He was great at capturing many hilarious moments and kept a steady stream of people there so that we got pictures of most guests. I would highly recommend Joe and his team!

Noteworthy DJs are the best of the best! They provided DJ services for my wedding and I couldn’t have been happier. They were very communicative leading up to the event and allowed me to customize things as much or as little as I wanted. Stephen called me a few weeks before my wedding and we had a conversation going over all the details for my big day which was helpful for easing all my concerns. He had the dance floor packed all night long! I received lots of compliments from my guests on the great music selection. If you prioritize great music for your wedding, HIRE THEM! Joe and his team were extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. They use an online portal that is straightforward and easy to express all of your needs! Our DJ was Sonja. She was an incredibly kind spirit who understood exactly what we wanted for our big day. She gave us pointers to make our grand entrance super memorable and upbeat. She got our guests super excited for every little detail! We couldn’t be happier with the music selection, and our guests literally danced until the end of the reception.

We worked with DJ Sonja, and had a great experience! I was more of a particular bride when it came to music. I wanted exactly my favorite songs to play for the reception, and made a playlist for Sonja to work off of. Sonja was super open to work with me, stayed in the songs we wanted, and read the crowd perfectly to switch songs up when needed. LOVED that she was there early, available for texts and calls, and matched the lighting to our vibe. She's also just an incredibly thoughtful and lovely person to work with all around! Absolutely would recommend!

Noteworthy DJ did an incredible job! We worked with Joe, who was absolutely amazing. Their website made it really easy to enter our song line up and preferred music types. I didn't know a ton about weddings, and as much as I tried, there were still plenty of details I didn't think of, but Joe helped address them all, even the ones that came up day of. He did an amazing job making sure the day went smoothly, and I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding knowing I was in good hands. He did a great job of mixing more modern hits with the wedding classics, which is exactly what we wanted. Everyone had a blast and danced the whole night away.

We got married on 5/17/22 and it was an absolute dream! Joe from Noteworthy DJs did such an amazing job from booking to reception. We had such a hard time finding a DJ that we ended up booking with Noteworthy just a few months ahead of our wedding, which was so stressful. As soon as we got Joe on the phone, he was calming, patient, and really listened to what we were looking for in a DJ. The online portal Noteworthy uses for couples to plan their music out is so user friendly and reminds you of so many things you might want to add to your day. Music was such a hard thing to nail down for us, so we left most of our music up to Joe! He did such a great job entertaining our small crowd. Neither of our families are big dancers, but he was able to get most everyone out on the dance floor, it was a blast! He also did a great job with handling things on the fly. He checked in with the groom throughout the day to make sure we were all set on everything, and he checked in on both of us post ceremony before we were announced. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more easy-going DJ to be there on our big day. We would definitely recommend Joe and Noteworthy DJs to any couple planning their wedding, or any special event!

Hiring Noteworthy DJs was the best decision! Everything was so organized and Joe was excellent at communicating with us. He was very patient with us when we didn't respond right away. He connected us with our DJ, the wonderful Sonja. Sonja was SO flexible with us because our guests kept requesting songs and she stood her ground and told guests that we-as the bride and groom would prefer not to have any explicit songs played. Sonja did such a wonderful job the day of our wedding and our guests had the time of their lives! We loved seeing everyone dance, smile and laugh thanks to Sonja and her skills. I recommend them!

We loved having Joe as our wedding DJ! He helped the reception flow so smoothly from a celebratory dinner to a super fun dance party! Joe went above and beyond when he kindly offered to get us appetizers just before our grand entrance. It was SO appreciated; we were starting to get hangry after so many photos. Thank you Joe!!

If you're looking for a DJ who communicates and puts his heart into his work...... look no further Joe from Noteworthy DJs is one of the best DJs EVER!!!!! When we went searching for a DJ to help make our dream come true Joe's profile came across and I just knew after talking to him he was the one who would be able to help me make my wedding a success. I was so lost when I came to the paperwork and choosing songs besides the big ones and not only did he help but he chose some of the best songs to get my crowd going and hyped up. And he was on it with our timeline and truly put his own touch on every part of our wedding ❤️😍 I know everyone will be talking about how great and how fun my wedding was because of the best hype man. I truly cannot reccommend Noteworthy enough!! They were our most communicative vendor and brought everything to us instead of us trying to figure out what they needed. The online template to fill out of the day made things so easy, and Rashad ensured that the flow of our wedding was flawless. He introduced our toasts with a personal touch, and added fun elements to the day that we never would have thought of, but made all the difference. When we hadn't chosen a cake cutting song he offered a option that was perfect, and chose the best last song of the night that had everyone singing and my husband and I dancing on a bench. Noteworthy was so professional and easy to work with and they truly made all the differance in our day!

First of all, Joe from Noteworthy DJs was amazing! At the beginning of the reception, we were being ushered form one thing to another. My bride and I were starving before we made the grand entrance. Lucky for us, Joe overheard that all we wanted to do was eat something. We still had a laundry list of things to-do, like first dances, cut the cake, and so on. Joe went out of his way to make sure that we had Hors d'oeuvres waiting for us at our seats. Such a small detail made such a huge impact on us on our big day. Thank you, Joe! My wife and I were on the fence about hiring a DJ for our wedding; thankfully sounder minds prevailed and we contracted with Noteworthy DJs. I don’t think the wedding or the reception would have been as fun and memorable as it was without a DJ/MC. Working with Joe from Noteworthy DJs was a pleasant and effortless experience. He took the time to figure out what our vision for the day was and made sure we had music to make it happen. On the day of the wedding, he was set up and ready to go early on in the day. He was very professional and made sure my bride and myself had a most excellent time. There are two words of advice I would like to pass along to those who are planning a wedding. First, get a DJ. It will make the difference on your big day. And second, make sure to hire Joe from Noteworthy DJs.

Fantastic to work with! For our wedding 11/06, Joe was able to help coordinate a DJ and a photo booth attendant for our reception with short notice. Everyone commented on how much they liked the DJ (Matt) and how well the photo booth attendant was with the kids at the reception and how nice he was (Alex). Would definitely work with this company again!

We worked with Joe at Noteworthy as the DJ for our wedding. We could not have been happier with his support! Not only did he play the perfect music to fit the mood of every moment, he was intentional with facilitating other aspects of the reception with engaging ease. He was extremely responsive, helpful and professional via email and in a meeting just prior to our event. I was confident we were in good hands! He was so kind in walking us through different parts of the day as well. We had many compliments from friends and family on how great our DJ was! We loved having Paul from Noteworthy DJs & Photo Booths come and be our wedding's DJ. Noteworthy was super easy to work with! They answered all of our questions very promptly and were very patient with us. Paul was AWESOME!! We had a few check in phone calls prior to the wedding where he asked what kind of music we wanted, what exactly we wanted him to announce/be apart of, what not to play, etc. He was very detail oriented but also made it super fun. He was even able to accommodate playing some Serbian music for my side! We were excited after every phone call. He killed it at the wedding! Our guests were dancing and everyone told us that the music was perfect. I would 100% recommend Paul and Noteworthy DJs!!

Paul did an amazing job for our wedding. Everything went perfectly and he did a phenomenal job keeping everyone on the dance floor and making the entire event fun from start to finish. He and the owner Joe were super easy to work with—there isn’t a single thing I would’ve changed. It was a great value and I would recommend them again to anyone who needs a DJ for their event.
