day went smoothly and that we did not need to stress about any details. She made sure that we were fully prepared and worked with us to create a timeline that was personal and unique to us. Our wedding day was about as perfect as could be. Our wedding jitters were significantly less thanks to Misha. We cannot recommend her enough.

questions to ask and anticipated details we never would have thought of. She handled every unexpected hiccup quickly and gracefully, keeping the entire day running seamlessly. Because she took care of all the behind the scenes coordination, my daughter and I were able to focus on enjoying the wedding with our guests. Camille’s dedication, organization, and expertise made the entire experience flawless.

What sets Nouvlle Events apart is that they make you feel like your wedding is the most important wedding, even though they have so many other events going on. Misha brought such positive energy and added to the happiness we felt throughout the planning and on our wedding day. She became a special part of our day and she radiated joy, calmness and excitement which impacted how I felt throughout the day too. We strongly recommend you use Nouvelle Events!!!

wedding went smoothly and making my life easier along the way :) Every planning call left us feeling like we were in such capable hands. And the wedding day exceeded every expectation. Several of my bridesmaids told me they wished they'd worked with Nouvelle for their own weddings. Seriously cannot recommend enough!!!
If you are even considering working with Misha, do yourself the greatest favor and say YES immediately. She is, without a doubt, the best in the business and the single reason our ...
wedding was not only beautiful and flawless, but also an enjoyable process to plan. We cannot recommend her highly enough—any couple lucky enough to have Misha on their team will quickly realize what a gift she is.
From the very first meeting, Misha put us at ease. She has an incredible ability to make the overwhelming world of wedding planning feel calm and manageable. She walked us through what the process would look like, helped us prioritize what mattered most to us, and then step by step guided us from big decisions to the smallest of details. She never once made us feel rushed, yet always kept us on track. Her organization is impeccable, her communication is clear and timely, and her instincts are spot-on.
One of Misha’s greatest strengths is her taste and eye for detail. She has impeccable style, but just as importantly, she knew how to adapt our vision. She listened deeply to what we wanted, offered creative ideas that elevated our vision, and connected us to a roster of the best vendors in the industry. From venue to florals to catering to music, every recommendation she made was extraordinary, and every vendor adored working with her (which made the entire process even smoother). She also helped us navigate contracts and maximize our budget in ways we never could have done on our own.
But beyond her talent, Misha is simply a dream partner. She was available for late-night calls, weekend walkthroughs, and endless email chains—always patient, always calm, and always a step ahead. Whenever we had a question, she had an immediate, thoughtful answer. Whenever we started to stress, she was the voice of reassurance and perspective. She made us feel supported at every single turn.
And then came the wedding day itself. We honestly don’t have words for how flawlessly Misha and her team executed. Every detail we had discussed came together seamlessly. The timeline was smooth, every vendor was perfectly coordinated, and all we had to do was soak it in. We got to be fully present with each other and our guests because Misha had thought through everything—the things we never would have even considered. Our family and friends are still talking about how beautiful, joyful, and well-run the entire day was.
Planning a wedding can be stressful, but with Misha, it was joyful. She is not just a planner; she is a partner, a confidante, a creative genius, and the calm at the center of the storm. She turned what could have been a stressful process into one of the most enjoyable parts of our engagement, and gave us the wedding of our dreams.
Misha is truly the best at what she does, and we feel endlessly grateful for her. If you are lucky enough to get the chance to work with her, take it—you’ll be in the best hands imaginable.
How many times in one’s life can you honestly and truly feel and say that an experience superseded your hopes, dreams and wishes? Well, that is what happened to me and my family a ...
few weeks ago at my daughter’s magnificent wedding! Choosing Misha Newgren of Nouvelle Events at the get go of our planning process was the best decision of all! Misha is kind, thoughtful, thorough, detail-oriented with a demeanor and sensitivity that made the entire process seamless. Misha comes with a wealth of fabulous vendors to pick from, each one was as lovely and as professional as is Misha. We assembled a fantastic team from the stationer to the photographer and videographer, to the hair and make-up team. Even the wedding cake from her bakery referral was extraordinary! Each wonderful participant brought their A game to this occasion. Misha was with us every step of the way with a steady hand , a kind heart and a confident voice which provided absolutely everything we might need or want. The wedding was a “ dream come true” and I believe our vision was actualized as a result of Misha being at the helm!

dding, she was already engaging vendors, scheduling calls with us, and providing documentation and recommendations for a variety of wedding topics. She maintained her professionalism throughout and was always ready to chat whenever we had questions. On the day-of, she and her team put out every little fire before we even knew about it, and we could not have asked for a smoother day. Her organization and planning always meant that we knew exactly what we needed to do, where we needed to be, and when we needed to do it. We are so grateful for Misha and her team, and would recommend her to anybody looking for a full-service planner.

professional, and has an innate attention to detail. During the wedding planning process, we often told her that she was born to be a wedding planner! Nouvelle has relationships with so many vendors that it was very easy to rely on them to help us select and narrow down on our vendor team. Our wedding day was so seamless, and I know Nouvelle was the reason for it. During the day of, the Nouvelle team had FOUR assistants working our wedding that were there to keep things running on schedule and assist in any way we needed – just incredible! I cannot imagine having a better wedding planning team!

No matter what you need help selecting- florist, band, DJ, invitations , photographer, decorations - Misha is there with a variety of resources. Her calm demeanor makes planning your special day as stress free as possible. I have personally worked with Misha planning our 50th anniversary celebration for 200 as well as my grandnephew’s downtown Chicago wedding. Thanks to Misha of Nouvelle Events for making both celebrations events to remember - the type that the guests are raving about.

Our party was a huge success in that our guests felt so darn good, which makes us feel so darn good. Thank you to Misha and team, and all the other vendors with whom they had to coordinate.

d laughs celebrating two 60 year old Widows who were fixed up and are now celebrating the blending of the two families. From the very first call after speaking with Misha we knew she was exactly the right person to pull together our celebration. Even her initial proposal incorporated our "Brady Bunch" vision and she just "got it". Misha is an outstanding event planner and an even better human. We went outside the box of your typical wedding and Misha and her team, jumped in and made our vision a reality and rolled with (even our crazy ideas) and actually added to them and made them even better. We can't say enough about our entire experience with Nouvelle. We have 6 kids (all single) but if they make the plunge and decide to get married you better believe we'll have Misha and her team in on the fun. They know exactly what they're doing and how to do it and yet aren't attached to doing it only one way, they're flexible and kind (and fun and funny) and really work to make your vision a reality. Thanks to Misha and her team we just got to show up and enjoy the night and it all went off without a hitch. They nailed it. So...thanks Misha and team for making one of the best nights of our life one of the best nights of our lives! Forever Grateful and forever on our speed dial! With heartfelt gratitude thanks from the "Farper Bunch" Cheers!

big day by helping us think through every detail, making recommendations for and coordinating with other vendors, and helping us plan for special moments in our ceremony and reception. On our wedding day, Misha and her team helped with every detail, allowing us and our families to be present to the joy of the day. The Nouvelle team ensured we had a solid timeline and moved forward on schedule, but also made sure we never felt hurried or rushed. They were ready for any emergency that came up on the day, from getting a stain out of my wedding dress, to fixing a bridesmaid’s broken dress strap, to making sure our guests always were in the right place. Our wedding was the most joyful and special day, and it would not have been possible without the Nouvelle team. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

ently guided us through every decision. She really took the time to get to know us and made personalized and thoughtful recommendations about each vendor she connected us to (all of whom were amazing), all while being sensitive to our budget. Even as we planned a Chicago wedding while living in a different state, she was always accessible and willing to make time to chat with us. I cannot recommend her enough!

ning process, we always felt at ease knowing that Misha was guiding us and that she was there for us throughout our every move. She was attentive to our needs and anticipated things we could never have forecasted. She is dedicated to you and your significant other and constantly works hard to make sure your day is as special and perfect as imagined. In fact, during the Hora, my husband's dad was nowhere to be found. Misha sprang into action, grabbed him from the other room, and brought him in to dance just in the nick of time. It's these little examples of Misha going the extra mile that truly made her stand out. We will recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner. Thanks for making our day so special.
We hired Misha in late 2019 as our “day-of plus” planner, assuming she’d help with a few recommendations then get us organized a few months ahead of our planned Jan 2021 wedding. ...
She went so far above and beyond that expectation. Our wedding was pushed back to Jan 2022 (thanks, covid) then March 2022 (thanks, omicron), and Misha was there every time rescheduling vendors so we didn’t have to. She initiated check-ins to make sure we stayed on track with our planning, even dealt with the transportation for us. My Dad came up to me day-of to comment on how well Misha was keeping everyone moving and on-schedule (she herded cats like nobody’s business) through getting ready, driving over to the venue, photos, getting guests checked in (our event required vaccine and booster proof), and throughout the event. She kept us updated with every detail (“we’re walking down the aisle 5 minutes late because two guest forgot documentation and are rapid-testing now,” “you might want to use the restroom now because your toast is coming up and it’ll take you a while,” “we’re cutting cocktail hour short so we can stay on-time for dinner,” etc.), and over 10 guests separately commented that ours was the best-organized wedding they’d ever been to. If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner, we promise it’s worth it. If you’re deciding on a planner, we cannot recommend Misha enough.

as easily the best decision we made! They made sure all of the small details were in place and handled everything the day before and day of our wedding so I was able to fully relax and enjoy the entire day. Two Events-One Double Recommendation!
Misha Newgren and her associates at Nouvelle Events are exceptional. We hired Misha over two years ago at the beginning of COVID. As a self-...
proclaimed control freak, I was hesitant to use an outside consultant. Fast forward to today; I have thanked my wife over and over again for finding Misha.
Within a few short weeks of meeting Misha, our daughter’s wedding went from a 200-person event to a very controlled back yard wedding with 30 family members in attendance. Misha advised us every step of the way in extending contracts with existing vendors. She also was helpful with details involving COVID protocol to protect our family in attendance.
Although the wedding was small, there were a number of details Misha coordinated ahead of time and throughout the evening. Even with a smaller group, Misha had one of her associates join her to make sure everything ran smoothly. At one point Misha and her associate were even seen washing dishes. Although the backyard wedding was a success and my daughter and son n law were happily married the next step was to still hold a larger celebration of the marriage, as I promised my daughter I would do.
Fast forward 16 months, Misha recently guided us in our daughter’s wedding celebration at Ravinia. For months leading up to the celebration Misha was in regular communication with us. She attended our food tasting, coordinated the schedules of each of our vendors, prepared a timeline for the entire day, and was available for each and every question we had. At one point she even returned a call while she was out of the country.
Misha’s oversight of the day of event timeline from the bridesmaid’s makeup and hair schedule beginning at 8:00 am to the last dance of the evening was unbelievably helpful. There is no doubt her oversight of the days schedule, insured that my daughter and son n law, our family and friends and my wife and I had a wonderful time, with no worries. Misha’s experience and personal attention to the timeline also she saved us money by not having to extend the bar and band time commitments.
I cannot say enough nice things about Misha and would recommend Misha and her associates to anyone planning a Wedding.

nderful celebration in November 2021. I had nothing to worry about because I was so confident in Misha and everything she had shared with me following up to the big event. I felt like the entire day was flawless and went off without a hitch! She made everything stress-free and easy when it came to communicating and planning with all the vendors involved. She had the best ideas and was always available for to answer questions. I can not imagine someone MORE on top of everything that goes into planning a wedding. I woke up Sunday morning feeling and knowing that there was nothing else that could have made the day/night better because she was so prepared and made it all happen. She had a great relationship with all vendors involved and her assistant was extremely helpful the night of the event. We are so lucky that we had Misha throughout the entire process. Her professionalism, creativity, communication, personality, etc. deserves a 10 STAR RATING!

e helped us find a venue, find vendors, and coordinated day of with her team. She made us feel like we were her only clients when we knew she was extremely busy. Most importantly she helped guide us, talking us through things when I was concerned, stressed, or worried. I am very much a type A/perfectionist personality and it can be hard for me to trust people to get things done, but Misha is so well organized and amazing with follow ups, I completely trusted her and she was able to take a lot of the burden off from wedding planning. Guests even commented to us at and after the wedding that everything seemed so well put together and organized, the timing of the event was perfect and thought my wedding planner was amazing!! Not to mention our wedding was above and beyond our wildest expectations, it was absolute perfection. We can't say enough good things about Misha :)

the couples wishes for the ceremony and reception “vibe” and made sure that it turned out the way they envisioned it. Misha was fun to work with and was always ready to help in any way. She was a great resource and I would definitely use Nouvelle Events again.

oordinator, but she went above and beyond for us in every way. She helped us expertly navigate pandemic uncertainties leading up to our wedding., and her prompt and thoughtful responses always made us feel confident and secure that we were in great hands. Misha was an absolute pleasure to work with and we could not have pulled off our special day without her.
Misha and her team were simply incredible from start to finish. I wanted to have an outdoor birthday celebration but had no clue where to begin. Misha helped me find every vendor (...
including a vegan chef and an incredible graphic designer), think through every detail (and guide me to the right decisions when we had multiple options), and contingency plan when we were concerned about both rain and COVID (neither of which ended up playing a role). It was a totally delightful day and I give Misha all the credit. I would NEVER have been able to do this on my own and now want to have another party just so I can hire Misha again!!

o began a 2-year relationship leading up to the July 2021 wedding. We never expected to hear much from Misha given her contract was for coordination closer to the wedding date. We couldn’t have been more wrong. Misha went above and beyond, checking in monthly and giving us constant updates on the ever-changing restrictions in Chicago. She was in constant communication with the venue and our vendors. To say she was the glue was an understatement. She truly became an extension of the family during such an incredibly stressful and intimate moment. She was proactive in every step she took and maintained utmost communication along the way. We felt that there was never a need to request information from her because she always came to us perfectly prepared, thinking about things we weren’t even aware of. We cannot recommend her more.
I worked with Misha, and her team at Nouvelle events, for my wedding on August 28, 2021 and can honestly say that if you are considering a planner for your upcoming event, look no ...
further. From the very beginning, Misha became my advocate, friend and partner in wedding planning. This was planning through the pandemic so their were curveballs thrown at us from all corners. She created solid timelines and schedules for us that helped us through the process, recommended great vendors and kept communication solid between us. Her experience in the industry, and in wedding planning, showed as she'd recommend things you'd forget like microphone placement for photos, hair and make up timeline considerations, etc( things that as a person who has never planned a wedding I would have completely missed and definitely would have been annoyed when every ceremony photo had a mic stand dead front and center for example ). If there was ever anything that I was worried about, be it a vendor or design choice I was thinking of making, etc, Misha was there to hold my hand and walk me through the process. Misha actually came recommended to me by my MOH who had her as her planner years back and was blown away by everything. The main selling point from my MOH was that someone broke their arm at her wedding and none of us knew because of how smoothly Misha took care of everything. I got to see that same care at my wedding from executing my design vision( I am a designer and included a ton of extra designed pieces that Misha and her team laid out better than I could have imagined) to steaming groom men's tuxes lay minute so that they didn't walk down the aisle looking like a dog had made a chew toy out of their outfits and adjusting certain components for me on the spot, I can honestly say the day would not have run without her. Everything she did, every fire she put out that was beyond any of our control, she did it with such a calm demeanor that I felt very at peace on my day. I would say that my favorite thing about Misha, and her team, is their approach which puts kindness, compassion, understanding at the forefront towards everyone she communicates with but also strength, organization, advocacy; I always felt I had someone fighting for me in my corner who others in the industry respected and this led to me getting the results I desired. I'm actually not sad that my wedding is over, it was the best day of my life, executed exactly as I had hoped and I truly felt I got to enjoy every minute of it BUT I am actually slightly devastated that I don't get to work with Misha anymore. Trust me, if you hire her and her team, you'll see what I mean.

ng not twice, but three times. Truth be told, we would not have been able to do it without her. I didn't need to remember a single detail from our fully planned March 2020 wedding when we were prepping for our "new date" in July of 2021 because Misha had detailed notes and made everything such a breeze. She coordinated wonderfully with the vendors, was extremely organized, easy to work with, and genuinely just a joy to be around. She answered e-mails promptly and always acted so professionally both during the planning process and the weekend of the wedding. Truly recommend hiring Nouvelle events, as you will not regret it! We were able to feel so relaxed on the big day, which went seamlessly thanks to Misha and her team!

ur wedding from 2020 to 2021. Misha helped us reschedule every single vendor to our new chosen date, found us a venue and caterer for our 2020 microwedding, and she guided us through all of the hurdles that Covid through in our path along the way to our big ceremony. Throughout the process, she was always available to give us a gut check or advice, and after talking to her we always felt better about our wedding and the planning process. She is so kind and obviously cared about our wedding vision very much. And all of that was before the day of. Misha seamlessly organized all of our vendors and their staff to make sure our day went off without a hitch. She even gracefully dealt with a very prickly venue coordinator, without the issue entering our radar. She and her staff were on top of every detail of our day, and we were able to enjoy our wedding without stressing at all! Misha and her team are a 100/10.

vents. Especially with all the Covid issues and rescheduling hurdles we faced, Misha was such a solid sounding board when we were trying to figure out what to do and how to communicate effectively to our guests. I was able to enjoy the entire day - it was so NOT stressful and such a relaxing fun day, really all because of Misha, her planning and execution. She did an amazing job and I cannot recommend her day-of coordinating services enough!

!! Her relationships with vendors and ability to keep them on task made for a seamless event. Misha made the entire process, including a “10 month Covid delay,” a pleasure! She coordinated the entire rescheduling process of a large and complicated back yard tent wedding. She actually has fun while she is working and nothing stresses her out. It's unbelievable. The result, a day where you and your family can relax and take in the priceless day. I can't recommend her enough.

r help with our big day. We used her day-of planning services, although she did so much more for us than just coordinating on the day-of. Misha was the one to step, in far in advance, and let us know we needed to consider other options for our September 2020 wedding. Without her advance notice, we would not have had time to make alternative plans. She worked with us as we fumbled to find a new plan that would be feasible in the COVID climate, and we eventually decided to scrap the big event and throw a backyard mini-wedding. Misha again went above and beyond helping with timelines, doing walk throughs, and even helping us prep food! Our wedding ran so smoothly- looking back I can't even believe it! Her team took care of everything so my husband and I (and our moms) could just enjoy the moment. We are so thankful to her and could not recommend the Nouvelle team enough!

left unplanned. I am first daughter in my family to get married so we pretty much went into everything clueless. With my family out of town she was so patient working with us and always knew how to ease any concerns we might have had. z that made choosing everything so seamless and easy. Everyone in the industry holds her to such a high regard and has nothing but the BEST things to say about her as a person and her as a planner & coordinator. I can now attest to why that is! Misha was incredibly organized, detail oriented, attentive to any question we had (via email or text) and on top of all of that, made the planning process so much FUN! No detail was left untouched and our timeline she created was the perfect resource. She is kind, she is gentle, she steps in when needed and she is sheer perfection. On our wedding day, she handled everything with such ease and made me feel so calm, comfortable and just EXCITED because she had everything under control. Misha and her team at Nouvelle Events are truly the best. We got married at the Field Museum this spring and I can't imagine planning our wedding without them! My sister had work...
ed with Misha for her wedding a few years ago, and she was the first person we called when starting to plan my own.
Misha is incredibly organized and makes sure that the many loose ends in the planning process come together. She also knows everyone in the industry, and was able to make recommendations for any type of vendor (photo, video, transportation, you name it). Most importantly, Misha is simply a joy to work with - she takes time to understand what's important to you and your family, and her number 1 goal is to make your wedding day fun, special, and totally stress free. I can't recommend Nouvelle Events enough!
Misha and team are the very very best! I cannot say enough about how easy and fun the planning process was working with Misha. From our first call, through the schedule, to walking...
through the timeline and finally at the rehearsal and day of the wedding, Misha was professional, so helpful and reassuring, and flexible. She also pulled together the perfect vendor options list for me which led us to the perfect wedding day. She goes above and beyond every step of the way! Thank so so much, Misha!
We cannot recommend Misha highly enough. From our very first phone call, to literally the ride home she organized for us and our parents, Misha helped us plan the exact wedding we ...
wanted.
During the planning process, Misha was on top of absolutely every single detail. Every meeting with her made us feel more at ease and excited for our big day. She has unlimited patience with vendors, is a great communicator and brings teams together in a truly impressive way. It is so obvious how much she cares about making your day special - and how much she cares for people. She has built an impressive business - and each one of her team members shares these values and was a total pleasure to work with.
On our wedding day itself, she was such an incredible calming force. We had so much fun together - on top of her organizational skills she has an exceptional sense of humor. Misha is a genuinely wonderful person to work with. And after the hundreds of to-do lists, emails, and hours of phone conversations - instead of our wedding planner, she was our friend.
Thank you again so much for making our day special, and one we will always remember. Congratulations to everyone planning their wedding - definitely do yourself a favor by choosing Nouvelle Events! We promise it will be the best choice you make.
