Nova MakeUp and Hair

You can see on their Instagram that they do amazing work! During the getting ready process, I think some of the bridesmaids got nervous the makeup was way too much and not natural enough but once you see the pictures you can see that NOVA knew best. It comes out great in pics regardless of the shock you see at first in the mirror LOL. Fun girls, it was like getting ready with friends. Lastly, they were more affordable than some others we had considered and still did top notch work. Highly recommend.

I'm so glad I booked with them. I was looking to style my hair curly for my wedding and they slayed it. I had an idea of what I wanted my hair to look for the day of the wedding and Amanda created a ponytail style with a fishtail that was beautiful and romantic looking. Amanda was quick too. She indeed has magical hands. If you're a bride with curly hair, book with them ASAP.

There are no words to describe how amazing Amanda is! From the moment I met her at our first trial, it felt like I had already known her for a long time. She actually listens to what you want and then is able to work her magic to give you just that. I was so indecisive about what hair/makeup style I wanted to do for my wedding but she was so patient with me and really helped to guide me along the way. Her work is truly amazing and I am SO happy I found her for my big day!

Where do I begin? Amanda and her team are undoubtedly the best hair and makeup team you could hire in South Florida. We hired Nova for our September wedding in Miami and I can’t imagine having trusted anyone else with my wedding glam. During my makeup trial, Amanda took the time to ask questions and understand my vision. I wanted full glam, and let me tell you, she brought it. She makes you feel extremely comfortable, like family, and celebrates you (as any bride should be). On my wedding day, Amanda and her girls came prepared and ready to glam! They finished my mother and six bridesmaids quick and with ease, leaving all of them feeling gorgeous. When I found out my ceremony had to be moved inside due to rain, Amanda was my calming presence and brought so much light to the situation. She made me feel beautiful yet super hot and I couldn’t have asked for a better hype girl. 100% HIRE HER!

Amanda and her team are THE BEST! They were timely and professional. The bride and her tribe were glammed in no time. The ladies' curls and makeup lasted the entire event. Such a pleasure to work with. Will 100% recommend to future clients!!!

Amanda and her crew were great and professional! She was very responsive and flexible from the trial date to the wedding date we stayed in communication on what my wishes were and timeline of the wedding day. Thank you for glamming me for my wedding day! My look stayed put for the whole night despite having an outdoor ceremony in the Miami summer heat! My hair remained elegant throughout the night as well, just had to touch it up once (that's what sisters/bridesmaids are for!) The rest of my party looked perfect for the photos, including my mom! Appreciated Amanda's special touches and caring demeanor to my mother who was initially hesitant to get her makeup and hair done. Overall I was very happy with the services Amanda and her crew provided and would recommend them in a heartbeat!

All I can say is that Amanda (and the Nova team) is beyond amazing in what she does in both hair and makeup. She is the sweetest, genuine, funny... she creates a positive environment that really sets the vibe of the whole experience and she works with so much love. When Amanda says she is going to pamper you, she means it. She has gentle hands and lathers your face and neck to make sure you are hydrated before working on your face, neck, and skin. She really cares about the overall product. She applies body foundation to your neck and chest and blends it all. She makes sure you glow and adds contouring, highlight to your body to make sure you look your best in your outfit. She has amazing skills with lashes. She doesn’t treat lashes the same for everyone, it’s individualized and she even adds individual lashes if needed. She is also quick and knows how to manage her team efficiently. Amanda was my wedding makeup artist and just with one other team member completed 25+ services!!! And everyone had only wonderful things to say. She is quality and efficiency without sacrificing a great experience and environment. There is no stress when you are in her hands. It’s not about business to her, it’s loving what she does and creating a memorable experience for her girls and women. I cannot recommend more. She is forever my makeup artist. I had a beach wedding in Valentine’s Day. My skin is super oily and makeup doesn’t last. Amanda was able to make my makeup last all day and I didn’t have to retouch once. I must add I looked like a million bucks on my special day. Thank you and I will definitely hire the team again.
